after doing a lot of work and posting a lot of pics i realized i put this in the wrong forum section LOL so here it is all you genny guys the REAL agi fix ...


link to post in modding forum ... its a complete fix for the agi ... no more wire in the spring ! this is a real brasss rod fix, providing you with a new center post for your AGI !!!

the materials needed

cut a 1.1 in sect..

round the nose and trim it to about 1.04in

press the old steel pin out of the base and press in the new brass one round nose up.

be shure the 510 connector is sitting the way you want it, it may neeed to be trimmed down.

now screw the center post on

now reasemble the agi with glass and top base, as you screw it down it will seat snugly and press the brass positive pin down a little till it seats, file the 510 flush if there is too mutch positive post hanging down.

now your done ! no more spring ! no more little copper wire pieces ! no more missing parts ! just a hard hitting AGI !!!

Ace has cheap 1 foot sections of:

1/8" copper tube which I will try first because it may form a better contact than rod.
1/8" brass rod which I may thread one day for one piece AGI hot post.
1/8" brass tube.
3/32" copper tube which fits inside 1/8" copper tube.
1/8" aluminum rod.
1/16" brass and copper tube for aqua topper stand pipe.
