Once I had a job where everyone (almost) would sit at desks, SMOKING during a meeting every morning.
Then they said, "you can only smoke in the break room".
Then they said "you can only smoke in a private office" - coincidentally, that's about when I got one.
Then they said, "you can only smoke outside".
Then it was "50 feet away from the building"
I don't think that's changed - but I don't care, my office, for at least 15 years now, has been in my house. And my car. And I vape all I want.

The company I work for won't even hire anyone that smokes. Crazy.

They do the same thing here they say it's to reduce the health care cost

Well mine is because the CEO is super anti smoking. But as you know I work with tons of hospitals and a lot screen for nicotine now. I always give people a heads up before we send them for a test. I stall it for 5 days.... well, because I can. :)

I'd do that to if I was in the hospital

Oh people vape in the hospital. Nurses, families, patients. Nobody says anything. Of course there's always at least one rule follower ....... We tell them just don't broadcast it and we won't say a word. ;). My dad was recently in ICU for 6 weeks and my mother vaped the whole time. So did I when I flew there to visit. People just have to be smart about it and nothing is said.
