Caramel Pear Black Tea by Ahlusion
Steeped: About 2 weeks (first 48 hrs with cap off)
Vaped: At approximately 4.2 volts, using a 2.8 ohm carto
Details: 70/30 pg/vg; 12mg nicotine. (I ordered this with NO menthol.)
Flavor Quality: Extremely clean and authentic; NO soap, perfume, etc.
TH: Mild (expect more at higher nic levels)
Vapor: Copious, even at only 30% VG
Taste: Luscious but light caramel, distinctly layered with delicious authentic fresh pear and a brisk black tea. It has a light-to-medium sweetness from the simple caramel, which provides the top note but does NOT overwhelm either the fresh pear middle nor the tea finish. The tea is a moderately-brewed black tea with NO bitterness whatsoever.
The flavor is medium strength, very soothing, and absolutely delightful! It's TEA!!
This was my first Ahlusion tea, and remains among my favorites.
I call all of Ahlusion's flavored teas "layered," in that you can actually taste and identify each named flavor, and yet they are blended beautifully. Their juices remind me of a musical chord: yes, each note is present, and yet the whole is an entity unto itself.
