Ahlusion Contrary Cherry ......and WHY do I Need the Metal Tank ?

.....Got my Vision Metal Mini Nova today, which worked perfectly cause my Ahlusion Contrary Cherry, Sweet Chreyy Something, and Royal Treat arrived in the same post ......I have read that you don't have to let Ahlusion juices steep ....I dribbled some juice in the tank and after a few puffs, it did take about 1/4 tank to get it ....but since then it has been deeeeeeelicious ! .....I had all 3 flavors sweetened ....( sweet tooth doncha know ! ) .....and since I only have one tank I will have to finish this before I try the next flavors ....

........I just wish I could use my usual Kanger T3Ss ....I don't like having to guess when I run out of juice or {{{{{{{{{{{shudder}}}}}}} even worse, get a dry hit ....see through tanks are the way to go .....but apparently the cherry juices by a few companies just eats up, or blows them up, Kangers .....WAAA ....I got some of the cherry flavors from the Vapor Room ....( did the 5 flavor sample pack) and I think with those too I have to use a metal tank .....


....My old reliable cherry vape has been WordUp, and I use the Kangers with that and have no problem .....

So Why do some cherry flavors break the plastic tanks ....?????

Well, I don't have an answer for you about the tanks, other than Ahlusion does its own extract for those from what I have read. I do have to chime in on the steeping for Ahlusion..some flavors are great right away, but in my experience they change more than any other I have tried with a steep. This applies especially to their tobaccos and teas.

its not just cherry flavors that break plastic tanks here is a list from mt baker listing juices they sell that are known to crack plastic tanks E Juice that may break a plastic tanks | Mt Baker Vapor WikiMt Baker Vapor Wiki
if i may why not just get a kanger protank or protank 2 etc. and solve your problem they are made of pyrex and metal no cracking.

As far as I know the only flavor Ahlusion recommends you don't use with a plastic tank is "Zing!" which is their straight lemon flavored juice. It should also state on the juice description page whether or not Ahlusion recommends avoid a plastic tank.

I always steep my Ahlusion juices. Some are good to go fresh out of the mail but most benefit from a good steep. Some of the tobaccos will even continually change for up to several months of steeping (mainly Smooth Criminal).

I've been running Contrary Cherry in and EVOD for a few weeks with no issues.

YMMV (but it's probably OK).

I've been vaping Ahlusion's Sweet Cherry Something and Midnight Cherry for over a year regularly, and the contrary cherry for several months now too and I've never had any issues with any of them in plastic. I sometimes use carto tanks but mostly use iclears and normal vivi novas..no problems at all.
