Okay, so vaping this 90% VG Peach River Tree Blend is interesting. First off, I think it is quite tasty. Yes, it is very tasty. I swear, if this liquid was packaged and sold as a "new" liquid in the NLV line, well, the NLV fans would be in love. If this was sold as a new liquid from the AVE line, well, the AVE heads would go berserk. Because this is from Ahlusion, and paired against their standards, some may feel it is just another liquid. I beg to differ.

Anywho, what is interesting about this liquid is that while I do get mild tobacco and peach, and then a mild peach tobacco post exhale, there is another taste experience on the initial nose and taste of inhale/exhale that is hilarious and delicious. This liquid tastes and smells like Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries! Did I say that? Yes. It drove me nuts but my wife and I figured it out this morning.

How and why does it taste like that along with peach and tobacco and then a peach tobacco? Dunno.

The liquid is clear as water with the faintest "peach" color around the peripheries (it may just be my painter's eye noticing it). I know that this liquid changes to more of a peach and tobacco flavor, but until then, I'll enjoy my Crunch Berries. LOL

Here's the fresh liquid:

Oh, you all can add Peach River Tree Blend to the list of liquids that taste like it needs not steeping right out-of-the-mail.

May I ask why you went with 90% VG? I'm just curious because it seems unusual for a tobacco blend.

Because I rushed the order and completely forgot to even specify the ratio--it was left at the default. I will say though, the taste is exactly how it was from my previous batch, and the difference is only in viscosity. That said, I don't know how the steep will affect this high VG version, and I will also say that I am going to be buying a 90% PG (if it is sold like that), so I can get this down to closer of a 50/50. I like higher VG, but I don't need it this high.

I generally vape all VG to 50/50. The things I vape at all VG are generally only sold like that. If I had my druthers, I would hover between 70% and 50% VG.

It'll be interesting to see how it turns out. There seemed to be a consensus that PG brings out tobacco better. I generally get 50/50, as well, but if all things were equal, I'd prolly go a bit higher on VG.

Speaking of fruit + tobacco, I'm getting that sensation from new Desperado. I'm trying it for the first time this morning and it does seem fruity, and maybe not so much tobacco. That's surely due to needed steep time.

Edit: I'm really puzzled by this. I went back to the Ahlusion site to read about Desperado. There's nothing that indicates it might be fruity. I don't think my tastebuds are out of whack cos everything else tastes great this morning. SC is spot on, and Cafe Au Lait is tasting really excellent. Same for Boba Tea.

Has anyone else detected a certain sweet fruitiness with early Desperado?

So, I broke into my 2 month old Ole'! this morning - sangria flavor, but not a strong one, not like the sangria drink, but it lingers after you vape it. It has a slight spice nuance that I cannot identify. Grape/berry/citrus flavors on the inhale, red wine and spice note on the exhale.

This is a flavor that is definitely a mood/atmosphere vape. I can't see myself vaping it daily or even regularly, but given the right mood, right atmosphere, etc. I think it would be perfect.

All the samples at the store are XPress, but they were out of XPress VBT to sell. 'Cause I would have bought some too!

OIC. Yeah, for some reason I assumed that if a sample was on the rack, they had stock for sale. Like you, I desperately wanted to walk out with some of that VBT. Stuff is THAT good. I'm still a little ambivalent on the CPBT. Some days, yummy, some days, SO tobacco-y.

Mr. Mann, I'd be happy to spot you a few ml's of the Tarte Tatin. I like it, but probably not enough to place a re-order when it empties. There are other iterations of the Tarte Tatin besides apple, and I'm interested enough in the concept to try those too though.

I'm trying hard to get from about 45 flavors in rotation to my top 12, with room for one flyer with every re-order just to see if anything else is good enough to bump something from my top 12. VBT looks promising, but if it bumps, it'll be the CPBT that it bumps.

Ole! is a really good liquid for, like you said, those moments. Those moments are when nothing but that one something will work, but conversely, it's best for those moments and those moments only.

I've pretty much given up on ordering tobacco flavors, after reading tons of rave reviews elsewhere, and then finding they don't even remotely resemble any tobacco I've ever tasted. I understand that there is bound to be a difference when you're not actually burning the stuff, but it doesn't taste like any "chew" I've had either.

I hear you man, I used to chew and dip and NO VENDOR I have ever run across has come remotely close to the flavor of Red Man chewing tobacco or a Long Cut Straight flavor of dip.

I would LOVE for someone to prove me wrong on this, and point me to an e-juice than can do chewing tobacco justice!

want2vape or NET.com. To me, Devil Dog! is all tobacco like tobaccos practically being burned. But even still, check out want2vape.

I am similar in that. I do not like coconut in real life and have not had it in a vape, but would not purposely buy it. I can not vape vanilla custard and don't like cinnamon in a vape, but love it in real life. I do want to try Boba's Tea though. Hope not much cinnamon and no coconut.
I get none of either in Boba Tea.

Please do!

Yes, there are many variations of Absinthe, but the herb that really distinguishes Absinthe from other anise-flavored liqueurs, like Ouzo, Sambuca or Arak, is wormwood--which is really bitter. I can't imagine it being added to an e-liquid.

I like black licorice candy, though--and nobody makes it better than the Swedes. :)

That said, both licorice and anise flavors are too strong for me in a vape. I like my eliquids bland and mild, even though I appreciate complex and well blended flavors.
Completely agree with this. I gave up on the ansinthe hunt and settled for Pluid as it doesn't taste like black jelly beans (as opposed to say an awesome salted swedish licorice which would make a nice vape).

None at all for me, unless I've put it in a Protank with a coil still soaked in a fruit liquid.

so adding the coconut to my boba tea made it sooo yummy. now i want a big bottle of coconut boba. Lol

I too love the Coconut Boba Tea! I have one 30 ml. bottle in use and one steeping. I really should try the Plain Boba Tea sometime, but I just love the Coconut version.

I had written that before I discovered Ahlusion's aromatic tobaccos. They are the first, and only, ones I've found that are close to an actual "smoked" rich and bold tobacco. It was shocking at first, because I didn't think it was possible. I wrote about it in this thread at the time - a few weeks ago.

Have you tried any of them?
