LOL here I go again... about that Gold Rising.. thing.. I just loaded it up in my Odysseus*, replacing the CLR *sniffle*, and it's interesting. It's approaching the aros (maybe one reason you don't find it appealing?), but milder. Yes, fermented honey is fairly spot-on as a description, but it kinda works for me. I actually do like it at this stage. I need another day or so of vaping it to be conclusive, but I think I will enjoy it when I'm not in the mood for the intensity of the Burleys, but still want some bold tobacco.

I simply ADORE this stuff! 120ml's on order, with about 40ml's left in my cabinet. I agree with you that "it's approaching the aros". It's really, really close to aros- in taste, but not in other ways. It is indeed a bold tobacco- yet it's especially clean. No other bold tobacco liquid that I know of is easier on hardware than GR.

In general, I have no idea how Wlad extracts tobaccos that burn so clean and don't gunk up equipment, but GR is truly a work of art!

I definitely agree. I'm finding that the more I vape it, the more I like it. Not always true of the aros. While I love them, too, I can't always vape them as steadily.

Bet you didn't expect to end up living in the e-liquid Promised Land!

Stop by Meijers, pick up some pop and chips, pit stop at Ahlusion for some tasting and a 30ml on the way home - sweet!

oh you just described heaven! But a 'pit stop' at Alhusion ends up taking about 45 minutes lol! I'm going back on Saturday morning with a friend who is still vaping the Chinese crap. She is about to have her mind blown.

Going back to Smooth Criminal after other juices is bliss. That's all. :2cool:

What should I be tasting in the Smooth Criminal? It's not doing 'it' for me, because all I can taste is honey right now (not even tobacco). The 50/50 blend that I got has been steeping for 2 months (haven't tried it until now). Does it need to sit longer?

did you uncap for 5 min when you first got it and a couple times over the 2 months

should be good at 2 months I don't really get honey though
but like a semi sweet light pipe like tobacco

a bit more depth then that just cant put it words well its a unique flav

maybe some vanilla in there I don't know but never thought honey

I taste strong honey also, but added to that I taste spice (not cinnamon apparently), graham cracker, tobacco.

2 months should be good, but I think some will say up to 6 months for maximum yumminess, but I can never wait that long.

At the risk of of beating a dead horse on this subject on this thread, what setup are you using to vape it? I get different levels of spice and honey on different tops - an atty I get more spice and complexity; on a T3 I get more smooth honey flavor.

I use the atty on this maybe why I don't get much honey
but yea def spice like a cinnamon or nutmeg or something like it

No, at two months it should be good to go.. I think what you are tasting now is as good as its gonna get. Sorry you don't care for it. What do you normally like to vape, Debbie?

Now I'm curious just might try it in an evod just to see the difference
I have tried in carto tank which was like the atty - half the complexity

Well I'm finding that my favorite "tobacco" liquids are the kind that actually taste the least like tobacco. The ones that captures the true combusted tobacco experience totally turn me off. I think for the most part, the tobacco in vapes is more of a carrier and gives the liquid a backbone rather than being the star of the show. Take for example, peach wildwood. Really, the peach is the dominant flavor, to me... but the underlying wildwood makes all the difference. Even though its classified as tobacco, I really think it has a lot more in common flavor wise with peaches and cream than it does Sweet Georgia Peach.

Ahlusion is smart to categorize with aro and non. I think going forward, if anyone asks, I will tell them that aros are tobacco dominant and the nons are flavors dominant.
