I just got some Sweet Cherry Something, and I agree, it's too faint on the cherry. But what is there, I like. I just want it to be... more. Next time around I'm going to try that Boba Tea.

I like SCS right away..but it's always definitely way, way lighter on the cherry than it will be in like a month.

Amoret, I too smoked menthols and when I started vaping I took to Ahlusion's menthols: Cool River Tree Blend in particular. Instead of confusing you with too many options I'm gonna suggest that you start there and see how it works for you. Good luck in your hunt and have fun!

Also note that the Ahlusion liquids you list are a very eclectic mix for a relatively new vaper (if I'm reading you right). They strike me as stuff that's much more enjoyable and easier to appreciate long after you've adjusted to vaping and no longer think of stinkies. If you haven't only recently quit, I apologize for teaching fish to swim! If you have, I strongly recommend the cool river tree blend at the "chill" menthol level and Smooth Criminal.

Thanks, I'll try that next month. As for the assortment, I've only been doing this since October and I'm still trying to figure out what I do like. I've got two flavors from Vaperite that I use most of the time, burley menthol tobacco and earl grey tea. So that somewhat odd combination is what I alternate through the day.

I've tried enough others to know that I don't like sweet or bakery flavors. I haven't made up my mind about fruit flavors, since so far the ones that I've liked when I first tried them haven't seemed to keep my interest after the first tank. I'd also tried a mint tea that I would have liked if it hadn't been overly sweet for my taste. I also tried some coffee flavors, but I'm a coffee snob and have given up on coffee until I can infuse my own home roasted Sumatran.

So when I decided to try Ahlusion I went for teas and fruit. I didn't try any of the tobaccos on the first order because the choices were pretty confusing without a recommendation. I did the order on a payday whim so I didn't have time to ask then. I thank you very much for the recommendation now.

FYI, I did break out the Ginger Orange Oolong, and I think that I will like it, but I also think that it probably needs some steeping. Right now the ginger overpowers the tea, and on the other tea flavors that I've tried the tea does seem to come out more after a while.

Gosh you guys are prolific :)! I still haven't tried any of my other A+ juices aside from Vurley, which I loved, but it is clear that it needs to be in a 306/510 dripper or RDA full time. I am still deciding what RDA or RBA I should get for my first venture into coil rebuilding next month. I am also doing my best to not break into the rest and just let them steep while I vape my other decent to just ok juices. Someone else said it here and I agree - once you get that first taste, even after it's steeped, it's hard to like it if you didn't at first -- the first impression definitely matters. :)

I know one thing, if Wlad sells his XPress liquids for discounts as they near the "expiration date," then I know exactly who he can give them to the day of or the day before the expiration date!!!!! Gimme dat!

Is this where the line forms?

Yeah, he should charge MORE for three-month-old juice. I don't get where it came from; they're always out of it!

I know right, like really??????

It's 27 and snowing here. Wanna trade?

No, but I did spend a few hours outside. Broke out the longjohns , sweatshirt jacket, toboggan and gloves. It was about 50 and wound up about 58. Wind burned cheeks aside, I guess I have finally turned into a full blown Floridian (and weather wimp)

There I was at work last night when a blissfully slow minute happened upon me. I thought I would take those few sane moments to clean out a Kayfun tank and refill it with some well steeped "A Peachy Affair" that I had forgotten about. Looking forward to tasting this creation I retrieved my juice and headed back to my desk. Alas, I never made back as that gleaming bottle tumbled through my fingers and met a swift demise against the hard tiled floor. Dang you gravity!

Just got in my order of Ahlusion ... just to let everyone know, I actually have to drive to Buffalo, NY, to my PO BOX from Toronto to pick up my juices.. so my journey to these juices is even more fun but it makes me anxious as hell ! lol

I just got back with:

* vanilla wild wood (first time) ... I love CWW so I wanted to try the vanilla.. straight out of the tank it's a great vape, just like the caramel, but what I'm wondering is if the vanilla will 'calm down' a little bit with steeping.. hoping the tobacco will pop up a bit more ..

* café au lait (first time) ... maybe cuz it was very late when I tried this one, I don't know how to feel about it yet, but I'm gonna let it steep and revisit in a week or so .. don't know if it's more café or more 'lait' .. lol ..

* strawberry vanilla cake (first time) ... just like the blueberry, AWESOME vape right out of the box ! I'm sure it'll only get better in time like the blueberry ...

* peachy criminal (first time) ... I couldn't help order this since I'm a maniac over SC, but the peach is really poppin out of the box, even though I can detect the tobacco undertones, but they're just not that prominent yet .. but I vaped a whole mini tank of it all day anyway and loved it lol .. another hit with this one, hopefully over time the tobacco will surface ...

Mr. Mann ... update on my Shipwreck .. once again, like you normally are, you were right about letting it steep ... I busted it out today and I'm gonna try it all day .. the coconut really calmed down on this one, but not too calm that you don't taste it ..

a weird question to the Ahlusionists here ... the bluegrass burley, yes it's a very in your face tobacco on its own.. but has anyone tried mixing it with anything else? with a fruit or something ? would it work ? if so, what proportions you think ?

NOOOOOOOO - YouTube

So sorry. Hate to hear this. But it does happen. Just yesterday while shaking a 30ml blue bottle of VBT, I lost my grib and the bottle went flying, somehow, miraculously, it survived intact. Luck was on my side (for once).

I bet it would since there is already some brightness to it, where as with DD!, it's mostly earth/dark tones. I heard (LOL) peach and vanilla may go good with BGB. Hmmm...peach vanilla Burley????

We Floridians get so acclimated to temps nearing 100* for most of the year, as soon as it gets below 50 it's "cold".

Yeah, the body adjusts pretty well. It was about 5 degrees the other day, and with no wind it felt very pleasant, no hats or gloves needed. That was after some extreme cold for a long time, often with high winds.

I think it would take me a very long time to adjust to Florida type weather, possibly years. We get fairly hot spells in the summer, with temps in the 90s but rarely much above 100. Never long enough to get used to it, in fact it gets harder and harder to handle for me if it lasts more than a week.

Same here in Arizona. 50 is absolutely freezing. It's a chilly 60 out today, but warm in the sun. I have a hard time finding cool places in the house to store my Ahlusion juices (<-- keeping on topic :) )

When I lived in New England, I remember going outside with short sleeves when the temps hit a balmy 40 degrees. It's all what your body gets used to.

So...before I moved to Vegas full time I used to fly into town nearly every other week for over two years.

About half way through the flight to Vegas lots of folks were already about half way to the ER in spite of my "locals" advice if they asked and weren't snarky. /lol

Booze it up
Who needs to Hydrate on the plane. Hell I have ice cubs in my drink
Land at Mccarren
BAM! 110 heat and nearly zero humidity
Think dry and HOT
Take me to the slots
Bring me a drink
The hell with checking in. That's for woofs
Hit the clubs
Hit the pool party
Honey...two hours of sun left. Lets work on our tans
Drink
Drink
Dehydration
OK I'm collapsing but it's only 4AM. Hydration and moderation are for woofs. That old guy on the plane was nutso!

Yes, while true, that post was somewhat tongue and cheek I am a little proud finally be a Floridian. See below for why.

Yes, 9 months of steam is right around the corner.

Yes, it did take a while. for 5-6 years the only time I wore a long sleeve shirt was when I had to wear a necktie and blazer/suit coat. Think I put on a light jacket about year 8 and maybe a coat one time around year ten. Now I am buying sweaters and sweatshirts again and finally feel like a real Floridian. Only took 20 years.

Back on topic- last order is in...Sleigh Ride 60mls x2; SC 60mls x2; sample sweet Cherry Something. Broke open the Gold Rising. I like it but it may be a little too rich for me to be an ADV. It is very interesting mixed with very juvenile SC though.

Sweet Cherry Something: Very real tasting - but for me, a little on the faint side.

If the cherry flavor doesn't come forward with steeping you can confidently ask for more cherry flavoring without any concerns about the additional flavoring making the juice taste weird. The cherry taste in both my Sweet Cherry Something and Contrary Cherry is saturated, overwhelming the additional flavor components until the juices have steeped for about three weeks to a month.

However, I have standing instructions to max out all flavors short of ruining them and I get 30 VG / 70 PG or 10 VG / 90 PG blends. More VG affects both the intensity and balance of flavors. Generally, higher VG juices will need more steeping and, sometimes, the balances seem to change differently than with higher PG juices.

It's often warmer in other places of the country than in Florida during the summer time. It's really the sustained 90 degree temps at nearly 100% humidity that wear us down. It took me years to get used to this humid weather... Two things that helped us adapt-- a pool and a boat!

Now that I've lived in Florida for over 20 years, I literally don't want to leave the house if the temp drops below 40°

I recommend any of the IGO drippers; particularly their larger ones.
