I got my order yesterday, and I'm super disappointed. For the amount of hoops they force their customers to jump through just to spend money on the site, I was expecting something much better. The flavors themselves are fine, I guess, but the bases are sickeningly sweet and make me gag, even though I definitely said I wanted no sweetener. Also, I don't know if they stopped doing it or what, but I definitely didn't get a free sample even though I asked for one in the comments box as I was checking out. For the price and the ridiculous amount of work I had to do, I was expecting something at least on par with my current favorites. I feel like I wasted a ton of time and a decent chunk of money on a very mediocre product.
So if you're reading this and having trouble aligning your schedule with Ahlusion's schedule and wondering if it's worth it... it's not. It's really not. Save yourself the headache and order from a company that lets you give them your money outside of this ridiculous 1-2 hour window each day. They're not bad juices, they're just not worth anywhere near this level of trouble.
Yeah I know where you are coming from with this.. there was a time that I felt the exactly same way. However.. my perception has really changed as of late. First of all, the crazy hours are due to the fact that the owner is unwilling to compromise on quality in order to satisfy demand. He would rather close down and turn away business than over extend himself. Another easy way to control demand is to hike the price. Ahulsion is reaching its capacity on a daily basis within the scope of a few hours. Yet, no price increases. Now to me, that's saying a lot. This isn't a business model designed to make a quick dollar.
That said, I don't love everything from ahlusion. In fact, there were a few that downright ...... me off. But there are a few that I straight up love, too. I know it can seem like ahl is a "pure win" based on the hugely positive reputation and following... but unfortunately there are some losers too. I've noticed people being more forthcoming about their impressions, both good and bad, and I'm happy to see that. I think its way to easy to get carried away on that website and all the reviews here can give you a sense of false confidence. As a general rule, you should always approach new vendors with a little caution. Because.. you just don't know, until you know.
Anyhow, if you're a verified member, you can always try to sell them in the classifieds. Or trade with another member for something you do like. If you want to shoot me a pm with what you got, I might be interested too. But don't judge ahl too harsh just yet.. you're right, everything they sell is not ahmazing, but they do do a lot of things right.. more so than most. It took me a while to make that realization.. and a whole lot of other vendors too.
