First a word of caution before you order: Ahlusion is one of the few companies that lists VG first and PG second so make sure to look at what ratio you are picking.

Secondly, if you want a sample you must spend at least $20 and the Express Line (about 2 weeks presteeped) don't count toward this total. Also check to see on the juice's description page if it is available as a sample as a lot of the premium flavors are not. In the comments box on your order write the juice name you want as a sample, nic level, VG/PG level and any other option (like sweeten, menthol, etc.).

1. As far as straight coffees go there is Cafe Au Lait and Kent's Blend both of which have some sweetness. In my personal opinion I think the Cafe is a bit stronger in coffee flavor but my 'buds aren't the most reliable. There are also others, Kona Kick (Kona & chocolate), a caramel coffee, Ahlusion Mocha and JG Blend (coffee & tobacco).

2. Ahlusion doesn't have a straight chocolate per se but has many chocolate blends like Chocolate Cream, Cherry Midnight (chocolate cherry), Orange Nocturne (chocolate orange), Peppermint Bark (like an Andes candy) and others I'm probably forgetting. I've had the Peppermint Bark and it was good. I've heard the Chocolate Cream is good but needs a long steep.

3. You'll find a wide variety of opinions here on the fruits because everyone has their favorites. I prefer Coco-Berry Cream (coconut, strawberry and cream). Blueberry Vanilla Cake and Strawberry Vanilla Cake seem to be popular as well as the other cream varieties (lemon, raspberry, lime, peach, strawberry, etc.).

Around 80% of all the flavorings Ahlusion uses are naturally extracted in house so the cherries taste like cherries and not some chemical cocktail trying to simulate a cherry flavor. Some juices are good fresh but I've been called a methodical steeper because I believe every freshly mixed juice, like Ahlusion, benefits from a good steeping. And I always benefit from a good spanking...

Welcome, I hope you find something to scratch your itch and please your palate.

All good points.

I have had the Chocolate Cream. It's pretty much straight milk chocolate. I thought it was too much, well, chocolate and a little too sweet for me.

I agree with Senior. Chocolate is best when vaped in mix and when playing a supporting role.

Welcome and yea, a huge menu to figure out. I'm confident that the "tribe" will provide great guidance.

Let me take a stab at your number 2. First, the chocolate is a real deal exstract so it's authentic. Depending on what you have vaped before this could be a great surprise. Underscore "authentic".

From a mixing perspective, chocolate is an elusive and difficult "lady" to master. Rarely if ever will you find a chocolate extract as the only dominant note. It works best when it's either a supporting member of the cast and not a dominant note or "paired" with another dominant note. I'm going to suggest you at least consider Peppermint Bark where the chocolate is slightly more dominant than the peppermint. The ying and the yang of this mix is just plain yummy. For me, the peppermint actually enhances the chocolate tone and makes for a soothing in my throat and overall winner.

HTH
:)

Little hesitant to order anything with mint, but i will chose it as my sample ( didn't even know they offer samples ! ) ... thanks

Thanks for the advice re steeping and pg/vg ratios. I can let them steep as long as it takes, since i have enough juice to last me many months !

Coco berry cream sounds nice ! Not a fan of vanilla.

Kona Kick and Ahlusion Mocha sound good, i will pick one of them !

I think i will try Cherry Midnight as well, now that i have read what you wrote about their cherry.

Thank You !

I would recommend Kona Kick. The chocolate is very subtle. I get almost straight coffee. I love Kent's Blend personally but it's sweeter.

Raspberry Cream should be right up your alley!

Two week steep on each. Raspberry Cream is good FOOB, but really comes together after two weeks. Kona could steep longer, but I don't think it's absolutely necessary in order to appreciate it.

k thanks, I think it is settled.

Kona kick, Raspberry Cream, Coco Berry Cream, Cherry Midnight and Peppermint Bark as a sample.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It would've taken me way too long to navigate through their site. I don't know how they can keep track of recipes and consistency of so many flavors, but judging by their following, they must do just that !

Ended up ordering Ahlusion Mocha in addition to the above. 5 bottles of 30 ml and a sample, $ 69.40 shipping included. Not bad !

Man, i really hope i love one of the cream berries and one of the coffees and the chocolate. My rotation would be complete ! I swear i am tired of trying different companies. I found my favorite tobaccos a long time ago ( Heathers Heavenly Vapes ), but since then the only other flavors i have loved have been a tropical tobacco from a company called Juice Mafia and something called Strawberry Fields from a company called Baker White.

Yay! A sale that I did not miss! I ordered 60ml of my beloved Caramel Pear Black Tea. Dropped from 18mg to 12mg (in anticipation of my Russian 91% coming in May). I put in the comments that I changed vg/pg from 50/50 to 30vg/70pg in order to bump up the flavor a notch. Also said if keeping 50/50 and them tweaking flavor works better, do that and just note it on packing slip. Hope that will work for this order. Does anyone think I need to send them an email about the tweaking in addition to the comments on my order?

Also requested the Just Criminal as a sample. I am very excited to try it. First variation of Smooth Criminal I am trying.

They seem to read comments, so I think you'll be fine.

How old is your current Caramel Pear Black Tea? I didn't take a stab at answering your Igo-L and sweetness problem, because I'm not sure how much that juice changes with age. I do know the caramel backs off after a while.

I've really, really been thinking about getting this. If someone has tried it, I'd love to hear about it, too. Otherwise, I'll report back when I try it! :) I'm thinking it will be my sample request on my next order.

I got Ginger Candy in a PIF and I LOVE it. it is 50/50 and just so good. I use it as a pallet cleanser kind of, it is not a burst of flavor but a bit of a zing and a mouthful of something...kind of a tongue tingling

Attention fans of strong tobacco: Sweet Virginia is now on the A+ website in the XPress section. Visitors to the cafe have had access to this stuff for a while now, but it hasn't been on the website. It has served as the base for both Sahara and Gold Rising (I think), but is a truly spectacular juice on its own -- good from the start, but getting deeper and richer with some steeping.

It's about time! Sweet Virginia is an AMAZING vape! I only had a taste of it, not sure I'd call it a strong tobacco, but it was a flavorful non-aro. Along the lines of Sahara Blend in impact, minus the synthetic Turkish going on in that one.

Thanks for the heads up on this. They were out the last time I was there, but have been hoping it would hit the webstore eventually. And a sale, the day after my coupon expired! If I were a betting man, or even remotely Irish, I'd play the lottery today or something.

Okay, maybe not strong, but ALL tobacco. There are no other flavors involved.

You all can thank me for the sale as I placed a large order on Saturday:laugh: I really don't care...just trying to get very stocked up on juice to prepare for the vapocalypse and also I really don't like to order juice in the heat of the summer (yes I'm ready to skip Spring and head to Summer after the frigid cold this winter) Mazinny I'm and HHV/Ahlusion girl myself..
