I understand your thoughts. I would respectfully suggest that you ignore this kind of stuff which is posted in other threads. On the other hand, inside this thread is a different story. Call it peer review. Knowledgable folks. NO BS. Folks who know the King and visit his B&M. That's the real deal from where I sit.

If Wlad wrote that, which he must have because they deleted it, then there are going to be a fair amount of unhappy people. Having seen it I can't help but feel our individual profiles are a lot like the glass that fell off the counter but hasn't hit the floor yet. I was looking forward to my next feedback email. Now I'm just bummed out. What troubled times we are in.

I'm thinking of going without vaping for a while, just to see if it would be a problem for me. I hate the thought of being subjugated by irrational legislation - not that I'm not already for other laws. It's stunning to me that the major municipalities in the U.S. have made vaping the same as cigarettes in terms of where you can do it. This tells us that the laws are not there to serve the people's interest. We have no reason to believe the FDA will be rational. They will serve corporate interests. We may as well do what we can, by joining the CASAA and calls to action, but I harbor little hope that it will make a difference.

How's that for a gloomy Monday rant? *sigh*

:( :(

Where I really had no endgame in mind pertaining to vaping upon starting, I have recently seriously toyed with the idea of dropping my nicotine level, so I can get to 6mg, and soon thereafter, 0mg.

I once thought that they would never be able to stop 0 nic juices, particularly those that are not tobacco related, but it's looking like that won't be the case. The FDA will deem all of it to be "tobacco related". The CASAA discusses this in their explanation of the FDA proposal.

Edit: all this as my first anniversary of being stinky-free approaches in June. There's zero risk of me going back to them. I find them utterly disgusting at this point. I'm quite sure my nicotine dependence has been dramatically reduced. I like nicotine, actually, and I think the benefits may outweigh any detriment - aside from addiction.

You may find, like I have, that going without vaping is no real biggie. To me though, it's like having my favorite bag of chips out on the counter and trying not to eat them -- it's not an addiction per se, but I just *want* it. When I travel I take no gear with me and it's never been a problem in the ~four years I've been vaping -- and a few of those trips lasted up to a week. Don't get it twisted though, no sooner than I hit my home-turf I am exhaling vapor.

As far as what may or may not happen with Ahlusion, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Whatever the man does or doesn't do, it will be based on keeping his business viable, which means keeping his products available in some capacity or another. The people that should be worried are ones that support vendors that have no flexibility, inherent or desired, to change their approach and or business model.

(It's gloomy out there too? Man, I guess we all do live under one sky. :))

Yes, I've already gone out a few times without recently, and it wasn't a big deal at all. It was nice to have it when I got home, of course.

I'm sure you're right about Ahlusion. We shouldn't worry so much.

Yeah, there was supposed to be some ellipses after my 0mg statement, ("...eventually quitting vaping"). I'm not in the "sky is falling" camp, but like you, my hopes are not high in getting past these hurdles. I'd rather control what I can, namely myself and my habits.

Let me talk about something positive now, ha ha. Dripped some Bananas Foster and it was still great. I said way back when that I wasn't into dessert vapes -- turns out -- once again -- that I just don't like many others vendors' desserts. I've only had 5(?) from the dessert category of Ahlusion and I really enjoyed each one.

I think you may be on to something HzG8rGrl. This liquid is by FAR the strongest tasting of any I have tried before. And some others have commented that they can't taste Blue Voodoo, wheras I can taste it just fine.

I will give it one more shot this weekend,

So here's my report-back from this past weekend. My intent was to try the 3 flavors I had again (Contrary Cherry, Lemon Cream, and Peachy Criminal -- Shipped on 4/15/2014) before I passed final judgement. I started with Contrary Cherry, and never got past it!

OMG!! Smooth, sensual, flavorful.... delicious!! No off flavors, no roughness. I liked it so much that I kept refilling it all weekend! Didn't even get to try the other flavors!

I feel so stupid for jumping the gun. How embarassing!

So no, I won't be getting rid of any of it... Now I just know to let them steep, steep, steep.

Thanks for all your help and support!

My second order of the Bananas Foster arrived on Saturday. I poured out 15 ml's and the rest is in my cold, dark cabinet. Gave it an overnight breathe with the cap off and trying to let it sit for two weeks with a daily shake.

This juice is sweet, complex and highly addicting lol. Even the color of it matches bananas foster. Flawless!

Yes, I'm a girl and I use a Mech! :)

If you are firmly committed to stay off of the Analogs then you have won 1/2 of the Battle.

Try to stay optimistic for the other 1/2 Battle that has not started yet.

well, someone else can probably give a more detailed answer, but aromatics are generally more along the lines of pipe and cigar type tobaccos, a stronger tobacco flavor

Thank you. So the extraction process is the same ?

Which category seems to be more popular ? I generally do not like flavored tobaccos ( couple of exceptions, mild flu cured and tropical ). If i were to order two tobaccos from each category, which two do some of the tobacco aficionado's here consider a good representation of the categories ?

That is exactly what was in the email. Something to the effect of "this might someday be in the works for my company but going forward unless you read something on the AHL website take it with a grain of salt"

Rightly so. Please don't. In addition to violating the board rules, it would be a pretty egregious violation of privacy as I'm sure the email was not meant to be made available for public consumption. I would be up Ish Creek if it happens (W going wholesale) but it's conjecture at the moment so I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

BTW, is that a REO in your avatar? Love the color. :) I have a 'little guy" named Ralph aka Mini. /lol

Yes it is! My baby I received from Robin. She never leaves my home though.

In a trade received Sweet Cherry Something. While it is undoubtedly good, don't know if it's something I'd order again. I'm also parched today though, can't seem to get enough water!

Going to place an order with them. I just need suggestions, so far I have loved French Vanilla Coffee from The Vapor Room and a Heavenly Buns juice (Cinnamon buns) from a local vendor. I have liked fruity ones but only in small doses. I have been okay with Bionic Vapors Dance with Miami and Tropical Cruise. Vapor Chef's Apple Bourbon Tobacco was great but way too sweet for an ADV, but it stays in a spare for when the mood strikes me. Hated Beeblebrox and Southern Hospitality. Something about them was not to my liking but can't put my finger on it. I hate chocolate. Tried to give you a snapshot of my palate to help. Any suggestions for Ahlusions would be great.
I've not tried any of the juices you mentioned but even if someone has I'm not sure the information would be all that helpful. Unlike other vendors, Ahlusion juices are largely made from flavor bases created in-house so they don't resemble other vendor's offerings in a particularly meaningful way.

I would suggest you simply try a few juices that sound appealing to you. I've tried over sixty Ahlusion juices and have not yet found any evidence that Ahlusion keeps less than stellar juices on their menu. Even the few that don't ring my personal chimes have been complex, layered juices made with high quality flavorings.

When I first ordered from Ahlusion I chose a couple of their top sellers and picked up a few juices that sounded interesting. After vaping them I looked at comments in the Ahlusion thread to find what people with a similar palate to mine were ordering.

I once thought that they would never be able to stop 0 nic juices, particularly those that are not tobacco related, but it's looking like that won't be the case. The FDA will deem all of it to be "tobacco related". The CASAA discusses this in their explanation of the FDA proposal.
While I would not argue the point that the FDA will try regulating 0 nic juices, it seems highly unlikely to me that they could be legally successful regulating food flavoring with no nic content as a tobacco product.

Gave it an overnight breathe with the cap off and trying to let it sit for two weeks with a daily shake.

Wlad has scolded me and others about leaving caps off Ahlusion juices other than briefly. They don't have anything in them that needs off-gassing. Just open the juice and recap after a few seconds before steeping.

Did my CASAA homework, First Call to Action for FDA Proposed Regulations - Consumer Request for an Extension of Comment Period, and sent a request for a six month time period to submit comments to the FDA.

This is the only flavor from Ahlusion that I leave cap off overnight. Something about the rum flavor makes it better for me if I do this.
Please don't rat me out to Wlad!

My lips are sealed. I just wanted people to know what Wlad suggests and that he will fuss at you if you rat yourself out in feedback like I did with Caramel Coffee.
