Pulled out a bottle of Desperado that has been steeping for 2 months and the flavor is much better now ,but I think it still needs more time. Either a long steeper or this is as good as it gets.

I think it's as good as it gets. For me, Desperado had this splendid aroma of sweet tobacco, but it was very much lacking in body.

LOL, I just opened a 30ml bottle yesterday and I know it won't make it 4 weeks either, it's just to good fresh.

Yeah, I too got a bottle of Sahara awhile back and didn't realize it benefited from a steep because I dripped the bejeezus out of it until it was gone! Then I read all of this, "it gets so good from a steep" talk and I was like . LOL

Well, the one thing that the ratio (higher PG) does allow for is easier flow, better TH, and as some find, better flavor. ;) I am one of the rare few who doesn't care one way or another. I guess the only thing I don't want is 100% PG.

Ha, ha. From (still) a relative newbie. I find the fruits do better at a 50/50 blend and the tobs and coffees do better at 30/70 vg/pg. Not sure why but for me the flavor is better on those juices at those mixtures.

goto to say after a month I see the smooth criminal keeps getting better cant wait to see what its like after the suggested 6 weeks

Also question I have a 10ml of Sahara blend
I (and I may be wrong) was under the impression that a Sahara should be dry tasting
I've had mine I think 5 weeks It might be 4 though
and its sweeter and its moist I'm not saying I don't like it its good
But does it dry with more time or is this how it should stay?

Really? Did you try it new? I love it fresh, and it's SO dry when it's fresh I can't imagine anyone not tasting that. Dry like a hot powder spray right onto the throat, with a little tobacco sweetness below. As it ages, that sweetness grows and eventually melds with the arid sensation till it's just a wave of warm Turkish sweetness on the tongue. It's great new and it's great old. Next bottle, try it from the start. It's a remarkable change.

Yeah, it is a long steep though. I like the taste, but like MM says, it's kind of a lightweight compared to its cousin Smooth Criminal. To me, it tastes a lot like the tobacco in JG Blend, which I (apparently alone) am not crazy about.

No I usually wait a month on tobacco's except when told differently
like with the aromatics
And with smooth criminal I just got a bigger bottle because I knew my curiosity would get me on that one

Ill do that next time

Exactly. It almost tastes like a base without an add-on, or the inverse.

I agree, but when I vape 70% PG for extended periods my face actually breaks out like a teenager. Not a great look when you're over fifty. So I get pretty much everything at 50/50 now. I don't think there's enough difference that I'm missing much flavor, but juice definitely mixes and steeps more easily with more PG.

I'm not wild about it either, yet. I keep trying it though.

I've only vaped juices so far from 3 vendors..once I like something, I stick to it. With that said, there's a few flavors I'm looking for and can't find and thinking of trying Ahlusion because I've read such great things about them.

What suggestions do you guys have regarding layers of flavors (I hate "one hit wonders", one note..) for any combo of the following:

coffees
Chocolate-deep cocoa (hardest to find it seems)
Nuts like almonds or hazelnut
plums, berries-deep fruits as compared to like bananas or too sweet

Mojito Cubano caught my eye cuz I LOVE Mojito's..anyone tried this one???????

I love complex stuff like Halo Voodoo is right now my fav or Five Pawns Gambit (a little sweet but wow!) I hate tea so too afraid to try those. And tobaccos I'm pretty set and love Prime 15. But would love to hear from peeps and I know taste is subjective but thought if someone has similar likes as me, then I could get ideas on what to order!

How long does the Caramel Pear Black Tea take to steep? I have a bottle that is 6 months old, 18mg, 50/50 and it is absolutely amazing. Just found my new all day vape and want to order it but need to know steep time for it so I know how to stagger the orders. Thank you all. Been lurking here and read the whole thread, but don't remember the discussion on this one.

Hey, and welcome :)

For coffees, I was recently pleasantly surprised when Ahlusion Cafe Au Lait matured, after about a month steep. It's now my favorite coffee flavors, and one of my all around favorites, actually. It started out strange, with what I've described as a sort of peppery finish, but now it's a rich smooth and creamy coffee with an almost buttery finish. Just a hint of sweetness.

I haven't tried any of Ahlusion's chocolates, but I know what you mean about them being hard to find. Did you try Halo's Cafe Mocha? Such a strange juice. It was one of those juices that left a rather offensive smell in the air. The flavor wasn't bad, after steeping a bit, but such an odd fragrance. Guess I'm sort of gun-shy about chocolates now.

Smooth Criminal is a very popular, subtle, multi-faceted, tobacco. And yes, it's smooth. It develops over time with lots of interesting notes coming through. Some like it right out of the mail. It's certainly one of my favorites, but a bit hard to describe. I don't think you'll go wrong, though.

JG Blend (I have it with a dark coffee roast option) is a very interesting multi-layered tobacco. It's another one that needed steeping, but I'm really enjoying it now.

I know what you mean about Gambit. It's probably my all-time favorite juice. I wrote a rather gushing review on the Five Pawns site. I imagine Queenside is a bit sweet for you, but I love that one, too.

I have loved nearly every Ahlusion juice I've tried (eventually - after steeping). I've only scratched the surface, since they have so many great flavors.

Well, I don't care what the steeping time is. I just got on there and ordered a 60ml bottle of the Caramel Pear Black Tea. I will figure out the steeping later. Also requested the Lime Cream as a free sample. Did not get a sample with my first order. Now I feel more at ease that the order is placed, and the clock starts now...

One order shipped this morning, so I felt compelled to place another. This time it's Coco-Berry Cream, Maple Dream, Gold Member, and Kona Kick. All 18mg 50/50. If Kona Kick is better than Cafe au Lait, I am going to be one happy man!

I'm thinking the same thing about Kona Kick. I have some steeping. Smells pretty nice, and I'll be trying it again soon. I still detect a bit of alcohol - something I get from many vendors' coffees. Since Cafe Au Lait turned out so great, I have high hopes.
