So, I got a sample of the Pearadise Dream with my recent order and it's not doing it for me yet. It's authentic pear, very close to a pear cider, as someone else has said. It's creamy, light, has a coconut note in it (I think). Anyone else let this one steep a while and found the flavor is developed over time?

Flowerpots, I have had my eye on that juice, but have not ordered it yet. That said, I'm pretty sure it will benefit from (and probably NEEDS) a 14 day or so steep.

Let us know! :)

I just ordered three from ahlusion, Smooth Criminal, Strawberry Vanilla Cake and Vurley. I hope I like them. I have ordered some e liquid from GLV and most of them I like a lot. A list in the order of preference is Deadly sin, el Kamio, 925 and English bulldog. What I am hoping for from this post is suggestions based on what I prefer from good life vapor as to what I would possibly like from Ahlusion. I am not sure what pg/vg glv is but I think it is 50/50. I like 18mg/ml nicotine, and throat hit is pretty important along with lots of vapor.

Thanks for your advice,
Shelfish

ps Mr Mann if you are out there what pg/vg ratio might you suggest? I read on ahlusion's web page higher vg for deserts, and higher pg for tobacco flavors but how much and is 50/50 bet?

I go with whatever is suggested. But, please, please know that you may not like those juices from jump street. I do not like Smooth Criminal right out of the box, and every time I get it, I swear that it's impossible for it to do a 180 °, but it does! Don't be one of those people that gives up too soon. Even if it takes 8 weeks, 8 weeks from now you'll still need liquid, yes? Yes.

Vurley should be gone before SC finishes steeping. ;)

p.s. I was not paid to type this (or anything else), and the only liquids I generally get for free are from friends, or the same free bottle that is offered to anyone from an order over $20. I'm not hype for hire.

p.s.s. There is nothing you HAVE to do, no rules or such to steep them, just open it once (only real rule) and revisit it every couple weeks until that fine day. Remember, every time you try the juice, you will have popped the top, so don't fret over any routine (but I still suggest shaking it up when you try it).

I tried the Raspberry Sunset last night and this juice is really good. I've only steeped it about 2 weeks so far. I like it because it has a solid raspberry note that does not overpower the other fruit ingredients (nectarines, peaches - I think). It's got a slight dark fruit note to it, making the "sunset" title fitting. I can't tell what that is, though.

GLV is among the few major vendors I have yet to try. Can you tell me a bit about the flavor profiles for your favorites? (One, because I'd like to try those, two because I'm familiar with a little over two thirds of all Ahlusion's range now and can probably point you in the right direction.

Edit, I just had a look at the GLV site. These all sound nice and I suspect we have very similar tastes.
Here's what I'd recommend for you at Ahlusion to start:
Deal Maker - love at first vape with no steeping.

JG's Blend - love at first vape with no steeping.

Smokin Cherries or Georgia Peach (one or the other to get started on robust aromatic NET) - One week of steeping required in my experience. Aromatics improve with age like mad.

Boba Tea (plain) - trust me on this one, everyone needs to try it. love at first vape with no steeping.

Rick's Request - No steep. This one is a little divisive but if it's for you, it is FOR YOU.

Smooth Criminal - One week steep brings out the best in what was good from the get go for me.

IMO that would've made one hell of a first sampling order for you.

Also, I'm trying GLV now (it won't let me upload the screenshot, but here's a link - I said you sent me): http://i.imgur.com/ekzyLss.jpg

I guess there is not an official Ahlusion thread and they don't have an official rep here on the ecf?
So thanks to the OP for starting this. Just finished reading through and have learned a lot. I've been thinking about making my first order and this has been very helpful.
I've only had one adv since I started about a moth and a half ago and that's Halo's Torque.

Any advice on what I should try first from Ahlusion? Of course it doesn't have to be similar to Torque since that already exists and I'm happy with it. Just an idea of what I like. Also really dig Longhorn from the Halos.
thanks yall. I'll create an account and start my wishlist.

Gamedesigner,

The best one I like is good right out of the mail that would be Deadly Sin. It has a very unique flavor that I can not describe only it is kind of like a desert vape. Maybe a little Gramm cracker with a tinny bit of cinnamon. El Kamino had to steep for three weeks before I enjoyed it but it really is good now. 925 just kind of grew on me, did not like it at first but do now, steep time was three weeks, has coffee and nutty flavor really good. English Bulldog good right out of the mail. H as not changed much in three weeks. It is a tobacco flavor with hints of citrus almost like zest of an orange or lemon not really sure. All are good though. Another one I tried was Zombie Blood, it is just like described strawberry gummy bear. It is also good but too sweet for me. Daughter loves it. Hope this helps. I know it is easy to spend a fortune on flavors and then be disappointed.
PS. Mr. Mann I know what you mean about steeping, I ordered AVE's Boba's Bounty, Hated it thought what the hell is everybody talking about. Six weeks of steeping and yum yum.

Thanks for the replies

I updated my previous post with more info for you. (And an order at GLV). And I was in the same boat with Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice.

My starter recommendation for you:
Cherry House Blend
Smokin' Cherries or Devil Dog or Georgia Peach - one of these is fine to see how you respond to aromatic naturally extracted tobacco.
Deal Maker
Smooth Criminal or Peachy Criminal

I loved Torque too when I started but have since lost my taste for it after trying so many other options. I have a 30ml bottle at 18mg left if you'd like to trade it for something.

That's correct. They aren't a registered supplier here.

I've only tried about 15 flavors from them, so this is my limited insight:

If you like tobacco juices, Smooth Criminal is a must-try for most everyone. Also, it depends if you like your tobaccos straight-up tobacco flavor or mixed with fruit, other ingredients like vanilla. I've read great things about Peach Criminal and Apple or Cherry Wild Wood. These are non-aromatics, so they are not as strong as the aromatic line. Sarah is another good non-fruity tobacco juice, like Smooth Criminal. I hear it's a dry vape. Vecchio is a vanilla infused tobacco that gets good reviews here also.

If you like fruits, go with what you already know you like to eat - that's always a good place to start, but keep in mind it may not end up being what you like to vape. Food and vaping can have two different directions in taste preference.

I can tell you from experience:

Limelight is strong lime

JG Blend is a medium coffee flavor and light tobacco

Mango Lassi is wonderful, mango with Indian spice and it does develop with steeping into a richer vape

Blueberry Colada has a solid coconut note to it, smooth and creamy blueberry

Melon-Berry Frost already has a natural slight mint to it that is nice and not overpowering, so if you don't like menthol, omit the extra mint/menthol option when ordering

Today I have been trying out the Devil Dog, this one did not fall to far from the cigarette tree. Granted I haven't had a real one in almost two years, but this is as close as i've come to a real cig and I wish it had been around when I first started vaping. I am sure i'm not alone in that I searched for the most cig alike experience at first.

First is the smell, I recall the tobacco from cigarettes smelling this way. Maybe a little ashtray thrown in but that's to be expected I think. I don't think the real things smelled that great either and DD does an excellent job of recreating that. Second is the taste, this is what I remember my cigarette tobacco tasting like. Not really a good taste but DD seems to recreate it very well. And yes maybe i'm weird for tasting juices, no excuse. Finally vaped some and it brings back memories of something I haven't had in a long time. I used to love smoking, even in spite of what it was doing to my health. Devil Dog gives me that in a pleasant, healthier way. I don't get the ashtray thing hardly at all on the vape.

I think DD is an excellent juice and really find it appealing on a number of different levels. Perhaps a little strong for someone who wasn't a hard core smoker before like myself. I really wish it had been around when I first started vaping as I am sure it would have been my goto first choice for quite a while. I would recommend it to my friends and am left wondering about the DD recipe.

Thanks for the quick responses flowerpots, gamedesigner and caridwen!
I'm starting my wishlist now!
gamedesigner - a trade sounds awesome, but I may not have enough to equal. Sitting on quite a few sample packs right now, but was starting a pile for pif. All of mine are around the 12mg
I'll send you a pm later on tonight after work if that's cool so as not to clutter this thread.

thanks again.

Yep, you and flowerpots have great insight for Rodjar. Rodjar if you're still searching for that strong, close to analog, flavor definitely try Devil Dog (although I prefer Smokin Cherries which is more or less DD with a brilliant cherry pipe overtone), Sahara, and Vecchio. Sahara and Vecchio aren't my favs as my tastes have been adjusting since I stopped smoking but these would've been great for me during that first month. Still, everything I recommended in the prior post is stuff I buy in bulk now. :toast:

I counted my liquids and I have over 120 atm, so don't worry about a fair trade. Oh wait, was that the mailman? Make that 125. :p I could stand to reduce my inventory a little.

Every time I go to alhusions, I am too late to order and I can't get a sense of their pricing!!!

Does anyone, of the top of their head, have a sense of how their pricing breaks out??? It would help me a bunch in terms of formulating my order!

10ml is $9, 30ml is $16. You get a free 10ml for a $20 order. After each order you get a coupon for 15 percent off the next order. So my 30mls are $13.60 plus that free 10ml each time. For the quality, the price is phenomenal in my opinion.

I just received my order of 2 30 ml bottles from Ahlusion. Did not get a free 10ml. Do I need to request this or am I just unlucky.
