I sent in feedback for one of my orders... below is what I said and the reply. I didn't ask a question so I didn't expect a response back. I don't really know what to make of it since I was very happy with my flavor and don't plan on changing my mix??

ME: I wouldn’t want you to change a thing! It’s amazing and after the first order of a 10 ml bottle, I ordered another 120 ml’s. My usual hardware: Provari Mini with a glass Phiniac tank and SR Boge laser punched cartos. I also have a Provape1 with a carto tank that I use LR Boge laser punched cartos in and an ego battery with C4 clearomizer for on the go once in a while. This flavor is amazing in all three.

I order almost all of my juice in a 50/50 blend or 60pg/40vg. I have tried higher vg blends but I can always taste something I don’t like.

REPLY: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us; please keep in mind that for cartomizers, we always recommend a higher PG ratio - especially on Boge products. THe main reason is that they mute flavors or leave an aftertaste due to the filler material used in their products.

I have no doubt the coconut is great .. all the fruit flavors are probably great. This stuff is just GOOD. I've only tried original. I wanted to know what the "base" tasted like before I added any fruit flavors and it turns out that I wouldn't change a thing.

However, when my big bottle arrives I definitely plan to try mixing it with a few things =)

Day 2 of Smooth Criminal as my primary vape. Still loving it. It's lasting surprisingly long. Only gone through 1/2 tank (about 1.5 mL) on a 1.0 ohm genny with a mech. Tons of vapor all day and night yesterday. Not sure why I haven't gone through more.

Another interesting note about SC: it seems to be a nice palate neutralizer. It's very stable by itself and maintains consistent flavor for me. For flavors that are not so stable, and that tend to go bland after a few vapes, SC seems to bring them back.

Anyone else notice this, or is it just me?

I haven't used it that way, but that's not to say "it's just" you. I use Halo, Vapor Station, AVE, WholeCig's unflavored and Ahl's Boba Tea Plain for similar purposes (palate recalibration).

It's a great ADV candidate, not that I am an ADV type of person. I think it has a lot of nuance that changes a bit through the day. Never got bland or boring. I will prolly always like some variety, however, like something sweet after lunch, for example.

I have mentioned this before, but sometimes I can't stand Smooth Criminal (seriously). Why? It has nothing to do with whether it is good or not. I love the flavor. But, sometimes I just can't help but to try and figure out what I am tasting, and it always, always escapes me just as soon as I think I got it. Dadgummit! It is so evasive it can be, for me, nerve racking. LOL

You know, I find it does sort of the opposite for me. I won't taste the flavor as much. I have to go away from it and revisit it after a few mls. Then it's like returning to a great love.

Edited to add: Without fail, Alien Vision's PG Hype cleanses/refreshes, whatchamacallit my palette.

Hell, I adore it after a month and a half but do NOT like it fresh. So yes, your theory is probable.

I noticed others with the same opinion as yours Mann. I can see this balancing out a bit over time and it's a bit dry right now, but I really dig it just a few days after receiving it.

My finger is twitching on the trigger for another bottle just to steep. I'm pleased with how long this tank is lasting, but I'd like to vape it at will, not worrying about saving it. I didn't like it that much on day 1. Can't wait for the 1-month+ mark. You never know, though. I may find myself frantically trying to preserve it at the 2-week mark. LOL

Yah, that was it. It was oddly "dry" on day one. I noticed that with all the ones I tried on the first day: Tiramisu, Lime Creme, Mango Lassi, and Cafe au lait.

It always amazes me how drastically that flavor becomes what it is supposed to be after a long steep. Ugly duckling it is (at first). LOL
