Good point. FWIW, I'm using EVOD BCC clearos on 3.7 volts. The flavors on my wishlist are:

> Contrary Cherry
> Lemon Creme
> Pineapple Creme
> Orange Creamsicle
> Sasparilla
> Cherry Cola

Nice list! And those are all pretty much good right out of the gate too, especially the soft drinks.

Can someone who has vaped Blueberry Vanilla Cake, Strawberry Shortcake, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake give me an idea about how long to steep them? I got them on Friday but haven't tried them yet.
Depends on the ratio you ordered. For me, Blueberry Vanilla Cake in 30/70 VG/PG was good very shortly after receiving with full flavor, the 50/50 mix I got when I ordered it in a larger size required a bit nearly 4 weeks steep time for the full flavor to come out. (I sped that along a bit in my ultrasonic cleaner.)

I had never actually heard the recommendation for always getting 30/70 VG/PG for all juice in their lineup, I wonder if that's specific mostly to carto users. Though I do have a single carto tank, my primary devices are usually either dripping or Protanks/EVODs. For my situation, Wlad had told me that in general, most dessert/bakery vapes would benefit from a 50/50 blend, while fruity and tea vapes are better at 30/70 VG/PG blend.

So when I reordered some of my favorite desert flavors in larger sizes, I went with a 50/50 blend, and I did find them a bit more muted than their 30/70 counterparts... though the full flavor did eventually emerge about 4-6 weeks later. For a dessert vape with a lot of creamy notes like Tiramisu, that one can always benefit from a 50/50 (or higher VG) blend because the VG helps hold the creamy notes longer. Wlad told me this when I had asked him why my 30/70 Tiramisu no longer tasted as good as it did when I first received it. As it turns out, after about 4-6 weeks, the higher PG (which is a better flavor carrier) made the coffee and chocolate notes more pronounced, completely obliterating the creamy back notes.

Anyway, I hope all of that helped some of y'all a little bit. I guess this is why it's important to share the devices you're using with Wlad, because the recommendations he makes are going to be tailored to your particular vaping style and devices. :)

PS as per Wlad's recommendations to me, I still do my fruity, tea, and drink juices in 30/70.

Thanks a lot, CheriePie. I actually ordered them 30/70 VG/PG, so that's good news for me. :) I guess I'll be vaping them sooner than I expected. BTW, they smell really good right now.

I also got Maple Burley, but that one smells sort of like whiskey or bourbon. I'm thinking it needs to steep even though some have suggested it fresh.

I doesn't need steeping at all. However, if you choose to wait three months or so, the maple will fade, and you'll be left with strong burley and just a hint of a high sweeter note.

That pineapple cream is good good stuff, but I guess I'm vaping my last of it. I just checked their site again, it's 7:30 in the morning here, and they are already closed.

Not once since they sent my coupon code have I been able to catch them open ( I have a life) and now it's expired.
Ahlusion is too hard to to business with if one lives on the west coast and has other priorities at dawn than ejuice, sadly.

and I would add to y cherry y's note that for me the smell had nothing to do with taste. I was really turned off by the strong smell, but tried it anyway. amazing.

I'm wondering if they met their "quota" on monday possibly?
I'm curious too, if you contacted them what their stance would be on your coupon.

I placed an order today... they closed about 9:30am

It does seem that, at least in the first few days of the week, they hit their capacity within about 1.5 hours of opening the store (I'm guessing it's a function of pent-up demand from the weekend, as they are often open till 11:00am or so late in the week).

That said, I do feel sorry for folks on the West Coast. Heck, I even feel sorry for folks on the East Coast who are like me (CFS/insomnia sufferers) -- I can only order from A+ when I'm still awake at the wrong end of dawn!:blush:

Ha! Because of work, I have very fluctuating hours and have ordered from Ahlusion both as the first thing upon waking and the last thing before sleeping.

An excerpt from Wlad's reply to my feedback email: "For atomizers and quality RBA's, a 50/50 mix or slightly higher VG ratio should work just fine though unless it's running at a low watts/power setting."

Seems a little counter to the popular opinion in this thread lately.

On a (highly) technical note, I built a "micro coil" last night, consisting of 10 tight wraps of 28g kanthal on a stainless steel / cotton hybrid wick (came to 1.5 ohms), in a genesis style atomizer, and my 50/50 12mg Smooth Criminal really came alive.

I know many don't bother with this level of tinkering. I only mention it because of Wlad's recommendation for those who do "quality RBAs".

I was thinking more of a 2-3 week steep. Would you be okay with that? ;)

I've been taking the cap off for like 5min and shaken it daily, and I have noticed some sweetness taking over the booze-like smell. I will vape it soon under your and rodjar's advice. I'll let you know what I think then.

No problem on the coupon! Just reply to that email (the feedback one that contained the coupon code) requesting that your coupon code be extended. They're happy to do it! If you have a review of the requested juices at the same time, all the better as they'll use that info to build a profile for you (and customize the juices to your specifications for future orders).

PS - I too live on the West Coast and usually end up getting my order in at 5am my time since they're just opening then and it's usually easier for me to catch them open then that by the time I get up. That said, I do notice that they seem to close earlier on Monday, probably as someone suggested from pent up demand over the weekend, so perhaps try mid-week instead. Just last Friday 8/16 however, I managed to get an order in at 11:30am my time (2:30pm at Ahlusion). They closed up shop right as I was checking out but I was pleasantly surprised to find them still open since I'd fallen asleep before they opened the night before.

I'm wanting input from anyone who has tried Raspberry Sunset. I really want to like (love) this juice. I got it in a 50/50 base with 18 nic and it has steeped a good month, I think. You can tell it's trying to be a great juice, it just has a slight perfume-y taste to it, very slight, but noticeable. This is the only juice I have had from Ahlusion that has been even close to having a perfume scent/taste. And I don't know if it's me or the base ratio or the T3, but I've changed the coil once in it, just to make sure. I'm stubborn and not giving up on it, though. I just hope someone can give some input here and tell me if they had a different experience with it.
