I've only had Cafe Au Lait. When I first tried it, it was way too sweet/creamy for my liking. Like Mozzer said, the "coffee" was way in the background. I tried it again after a *record playing again* 2 month steep and the coffee came through much more. It was like a sweet coffee, (which I dig IRL) so I was fine with it.

So my moral of my story is steeping REALLY helps 90 percent of the juices I've had from Ahlusion.

Mine's only 22 days steeped, so it has a ways to go. Do you notice that peppery finish I've talked about? It's diminishing, so maybe it blends all the way in by 2 months.

I'm still undecided about Cafe au Lait. I spent some time with it in my dripper the last couple of days. It's definitely interesting and improving a lot over time. I'm just not sure it tastes like coffee to me. Hints of coffee, yes, and there's that slightly peppery finish. I kind of like it, regardless, but it leaves me a little frustrated for more actual coffee flavor. As far as the coffee I like to drink, it's dark bold stuff and somewhat sweetened. I like espresso and Turkish coffee. I also really like Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk

That is the type of information that should go in the feedback. That last part is something, if I were you, I would send along as well.

You've piqued my curiosity with the JG Blend. I'm also curious to know what you think of Cafe au Lait.

I'll try Cafe Au Lait tomorrow and post on it. These are at least a couple months old, so well steeped. The guy I got it from also really liked JG Blend, and preferred the coffee in that one to these, so trying to get Wlad to offer a juice that has the coffee of JG blend minus the tobacco. I hear the Boba with coffee has a great coffee flavor too, but I've yet to try any of the Bobas.

I highly recommend JG Blend if you're considering it, it's one of my favorite tobaccos from Ahl. With the dark roast option, it has an authentic, black coffee flavor. The tobacco provides a little sweetness, so no need to choose the sweetner option.

I didn't get that finish you described. Truthfully, the only juice I got that "pepper like" finish from was Gold Rising and I was not a fan of it. I haven't tried it since, so it could be gone. Or maybe that's how they intended it to come across. Or it could be nic level...........or __________

I notice a pepper-like taste from any juice that's higher nic than I'm used to, which goes away as I adjust to the new nic level. Alternatively, lower nic seems a little bland until I get used to in (within a couple minutes going either way). It's like nic is the salt of ejuice, that happens to taste like pepper lol.

Ahlusion's nic base always seemed stronger to me than most other vendors, and I order lower from them. If someone is noticing a peppery feel from Ahl juices I'd suggest trying a bottle with the nic a level lower.

P.S. I guess you posting now is what, yard time at the pen?

HA! While enjoying my break, I did miss one thing that's one of my favorite things to do here.. talking about new juices I'm vaping. I like to read others thoughts on what I'm vaping, gives me other perspectives on them.

Yeah, I haven't ordered 18mg nic from Ahl in a while; their 12mg does the trick. I've started ordering 15/16mg from other places too instead of my normal 18mg, but plan on getting 12mg more often. The set-up I have on my rebuildable drippers makes lots of vapor, so I start getting a little nic sick when chaining on 18mg. I recently got a bunch of 6mg nic Ahls from someone, including these coffees, and with a 0.8 ohm coil it still has a decent enough throat hit; in the morning anyways.

My first order with Ahlusion was 18mg, but all since have been 12mg, including Cafe au Lait. Don't want to go lower cos I like a little nicotine ;)

Hey, I'm building a wish list for my next order and I'm looking at the aromatics. Deciding between Vurley and Honey Cured. Thoughts?

If you dig on vanilla baccos, Vurley is a must-try. I have some Honey Cured, but haven't tried it yet.

Vurley sounds good, aye. Are you steeping? No need for the aromatics, I thought.

No, not steeping, just recieved a LOT of juices recently and I like to space out trying new juices. The aros are indeed good to go right away, and don't change much with steeping. Well, some do change a little, but not in a good way.

Sweet. so here's the wish list / next order: JG Blend - dark roast, Vurley, Pineapple Creme, Strawberry Vanilla Cake

StrawVanCake is a crazy good dessert vape. I plan on trying that Pineapple Creme after reading about it on this thread.

Vurley>Honey Cured. No steeping necessary with the aros, but they do blend a bit more with time.

Nic itself is peppery. I got that effect a lot early on, before I realized how important it was to shake the bottle liberally before use. Shake 'em!

That is going to be an awesome order. I'm not much of a tobacco vaper but I love JG Blend and Vurley when I'm in the mood for something different. Just vaped a tank of Vurley the other day. The other 2 are constant companions :)

Got my first two in from A-Xpresses (I didn't want to wait to see how their stuff really tastes) Contrary Cherry and Blueberry Vanilla Cake. Both Excellent!
Can't wait to get more.
Please post your impression of the Contrary Cherry. It's the one flavor included in my recent order that I was most looking forward to, and yet turned out to be the most disappointing. Keep in mind that mine was not Xpress, so it's only a week old. It's really just a mild vanilla milkshake flavor at this point- there is a wonderful cherry aroma, but little, if any, cherry flavor. I'm hoping it will improve with age. Please describe what it tastes like to you, since yours has likely been steeping for a while. Thanks!
