I began to fall in love with it at only 2 weeks (and it just gets better) -- how old was yours when you tried it?
Much older than that. I was kinda joking because you're the Queen of Steeping, and I lean that way myself.

Smooth Criminal, need help please.
Hi everyone, I have not kept up with this thread but finally tried Smooth Criminal. I received it with a 50/50 mix at 12mg. vaping it in a carto tank. Carto is a boge SR. I really like it but one problem, no throat hit. I know it is recommended to use 70pg/30vg on cartos but I have been using 50/50 with no issues with Ahlusion juices. I also do need to increase my nic level because 12mg isn't doing it for me in general.
So the question is, do you think I will get a throat hit at 18mg with a 50/50. Or must I change to the 70/30 mix? Or does this particular flavor just have no throat it?
Thank you

Sorry, have to disagree. Eleanor is indeed a queen. You sir, are no queen.

I get a very mild, if any, throat hit from SC at 12mg or 18mg. I think that's partly why it's called "Smooth Criminal"
And mine are always 50/50
Edit: I should add that I may be sort of jaded to the whole "throat hit" thing. I don't notice it much in any juice. Even the rather aggressive aromatics from Ahlusion.
(Yes, I like SC young!)
all kinds of assumptions there.. KIDDING!Thanks guys. I always shake the bottle before priming the carto and filling the tank. I just thought about something, maybe it is because there is no alcohol in it. I vape Grape vine and that has a nice hit but then again it does have alcohol. Well, Smooth Criminal is smooth alright.
just like your men? *duck* jkjkjkjkjk!all kinds of assumptions there.. KIDDING!

Ha! She likes them young and criminal... but smooth.

Need to have a discussion about this Cafe Au Lait. It is on about 12 days steeping (plus almost two days just sitting in it's package). It was horrid at first so I let it sit after opening it for a sample.
Last night I filled a tank and decided to vape through it to see where it really was. All I got at first was that strange pepper taste. It even had a mild undertone of melted plastic. But, for some strange reason - it wasn't unvapable. As I progressed vaping it last night and today, I will catch a coffee flavor - i think. It is even pleasant - I think.
This is such a strange vape. Doubt I will ever order this again, but wondering how off this could be when the other flavors I have ordered have been true to its name.
Thoughts?
AHEM.
For the record, I like my men responsible, not criminal, and no smoother than a gentleman ought to be.

I actually know exactly what you mean. My experience was similar regarding the "peppery" bit, but I never got anything plastic. Anyway, mine is almost exactly 6 weeks steeped now and I really like it. I suppose it's different than any coffee I've drunk, but definitely tastes like a coffee vape. That peppery thing integrates very well at this stage and I'd really no longer describe it as peppery. More like a bit of spice in the finish. I have to say coffee vapes have been generally elusive for me. That is, they never really match the type of coffee I like to drink.
One of my odd favorites is Caramel Cappuccino from High Caliber. It's the most unpredictable, sometimes chemically, frustrating juice I have. But when it's "on" it's fantastic. The major note is caramel when it's good, though, rather than coffee. I recently found that it responds better to low voltage. I discovered this after picking up an old Protank I had it in. Since it's primarily caramel, I'm going to try Gold Member soon to see if it might be something like it but more consistent and less chemically.

I'm no longer a criminal.. (still working on the responsible part); and I can fake being gentlemanly like the best of them.

You're a gem, Jerms.
I wonder if that "peppery" flavor is almost like a bitter roast on a coffee. That doesn't match the description of the juice. Does anyone here love it? Based on the description, I wonder if they should revisit this one?
I love coffee and have found it an elusive vape too. I once loved a Bavarian creme coffee from my local shop, but I lost any interest in it not long ago and have not found another. It's too bad.
