First, if I ever tasted anything that resembled "melted plastic," I would cease vaping. At once! Secondly, that sounds like hardware issues. Would you by chance be vaping using a clearo of some sort? I ask because I know those things are popular and I always see similar comments from users of those devices, but in respect to (what seems like) any kind of liquid from any kind of vendor having really strange tastes.

What liquid delivery device were you using?

It is in a clearo, but it is most definitely not a hardware issue or a dry burn. I know what those taste like. My comment (actually the entire description) was to try and relay the fact that the flavor is hard to describe, after the pepper taste that is. The "mild melted plastic" remark was the closest I could come to describing the odd undertone after the pepper bite - which someone else here has also described tasting. It was not a burnt taste - which could lead one to believe it was a hardware issue.

I also used a carto (no tank) on this juice and still have yet to get it to taste anything like the description. All of the other juices came out exactly as described after a steep, which is why I am perplexed on this particular juice.

Yeah, that part sounds like a T2-T3-etc clearo that has bad plastic flavor. I'm familiar with that yucky taste. When i used them, i gave them an overnight vodka bath, then rinsed and dried before using. The peppery part could be an unmixed spot of nicotine. Are you shaking it hard for 30-60 seconds first?

btw, does the VG/PG blend drop-down menu, on the Ahlusion site, default to their recommendation? I've noticed that it varies, depending on the juice you're adding to the cart / wishlist. I always get 50/50. Just curious.

I believe 50/50 is their usual default. I couldn't swear to that, however, as I always order mine at 30vg/70pg. :D

Very happy to help! I hope it did! I absolutely love good creamy vapes, haven't found a good creamy chocolate one yet but that could be about to change I hope! ;) So yes, if you like fruit and cream vapes, these are the hands down, the best I have had! Like I said, glad i got the 30 ml bottles and planning on ordering 60 mL bottles when I place my next order, once I get the coupon hopefully! Along with the Blueberry Vanilla Cake, maybe a 60 mL bottle of Kiwi Sea depending on how that one is, I love Kiwi!! Thinking about the coffee Boba or do you have a suggestion?

I'm going on a cruise at the end of October and I have to have those 2 vapes with me for sure! Along with others! ;)

I'm not sure what you've already tried... I only just recently got the plain Boba Tea myself. It's fairly mild overall so I can imagine the flavor getting muted a bit in a clearo or carto, but in my dripper it's really nice. I think I'll add some of my Coconut Dream to that so I can try it as the Coconut Boba.

Yes, I love coconut so I ordered the Coconut Dream last time around and will definitely be needing a big bottle reorder of this one. I love it straight up but it's also great adding it to other fruit only vapes. Heck, I wonder if I may not even need the Red, White, and Blueberry now if I can just add Coconut Dream to my Pink Label and get close to the same thing. :D

Mmmm wonder how it'll be added to the Mango Lassi... *drool* I haven't had any Kiwi vapes yet, and though I do enjoy Kiwi IRL I wonder if the vape will be more of the sweet or tart variety. Please let us know once you get it. If it's sweet, I may have to look into it myself. ;)

My favorite tea so far has to be the Caramel Pear Black Tea. Loving that one and a definite big bottle reorder for me!

So, methinks you might want to look into Coconut Dream then if you haven't already....

Today as I was perusing, Gold Rising defaulted to 30/70, I think, and Gold Member defaulted to "all VG". I added them both to my wish list for the morning, and changed them to 50/50.

If I'm remembering right, one of the kiwi vapes has the option of sweet kiwi or sour kiwi. I would go for the sweet kiwi myself, I loves me some sweet and juicy kiwi.

If you are convinced it's not hardware, then I will have to side with you. But, I can say that the only way you "know" your liquid has steeped is when the flavor matches more of the description. I can tell you that if you steeped it for 12-14 days (I think that's what you said), that would be, in my book, the pre-steep.

But, some liquid just does NOT work (steeped long term or not). If it's nasty, sometimes it's just nasty.

I wonder if that "peppery" flavor is almost like a bitter roast on a coffee. That doesn't match the description of the juice. Does anyone here love it? Based on the description, I wonder if they should revisit this one?

I love coffee and have found it an elusive vape too. I once loved a Bavarian creme coffee from my local shop, but I lost any interest in it not long ago and have not found another. It's too bad.

I haven't tried the Cafe au Lait, but I know one experienced vaper (and coffee aficionado) who had similar reaction to it--he really didn't care for it, steeped or unsteeped.

That said, I really like Kona Kick with an (optional) touch of cream and chocolate.

Cafe au Lait was one of the first Ahlusion juices I bought. It tasted like hot milk (lait) to me at first, then the coffee arrived much later. I remember the milk being so realistic that vaping it made me salivate in exactly the same places actually drinking milk does (the sides if the tongue back in molar territory). It kinda freaked me out with that trick. However, I recall the coffee being very mild when it appeared in the flavor, and I think I traded or gave it away before I gave it much of a fair chance.

What I've lobbied Wlad for is a hot cocoa flavor with that milk and strong dark cocoa (like Cherry Midnight cocoa). So far no luck.

There's the Kona Kick again! I gotta get me some of that.

Omg, smooth criminal.. SMOOTH CRIMINAL!

What is going on here... I absolutely HATED this liquid the first time around.. but now I'm vaping it and feeling like I've just met my soul mate... like I'm seriously having de ja vu.. it tastes so familiar, but I can't place it.. could it be my subconscious remembering this liquid from before? Because honestly, there are no commonalities between this smooth criminal and the one I recollect. Or did I just dream of this heavenly liquid and just now getting to experience it in real life? Idk.. but I like it. I like it A LOT.

I've posted it before, but when I first tried SC last year I hated it. Nasty! Then, after a long steep, I was left having to reconcile what happened.

Good luck figuring out the flavor! I'd say SC is way more elusive than Boba's Bounty. Soon as you think you've got it, and you prepare to verbal-ize (LOL) what it is, it's gone. Poof. Gone. It's like Keyser Söze. Nope, can't Verbal-ize it. :p
