Been vaping some brand new Smooth Crim and Desperado tonight. Usually I give a new juice a couple days to settle if I plan on trying it fresh, but these are pre-fresh lol. I screwed up the order; I meant to get Desperado at 70% pg like I did with SC but accidently requested 70% vg, so that may effect my comparisons.

I'm finding them more different brand new than others have reported. More like distant cousins than siblings to me. Desperado has more of a tobacco lean, SC is dessert.

The first time I had Smooth Crim I just briefly tasted it fresh and did most of the vaping well steeped, so I pretty much only remember how it is steeped. This is WAY different. Pretty far from the straight medium tobacco I remember, this is like others report it fresh; rich, sweet, buttery, decadent. I like it a lot, don't love it like steeped SC. Usually I'm surprised at how close a vape I haven't had in a long time tastes to how I remember; this is almost nothing like I remember. This confirms for me what we all already know, Smooth Criminal makes drastic changes with age.

Desperado is less sweet, and has notes that actually do remind me of tobacco, though a different tobacco than SC. On it's own it seems quite good, but when comparing with fresh SC it's a little dull. I look forward to see how this ages, and I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it.

Will give them a few days to a week to settle before doing another comparison. Fresh Boba Tea coming up next!

Wow, u have some fun stuff!! And some great flavors-keep us all posted on the Aurora and the Apire tnaks. Hope u have a fab vaca!!!

Thanks AngiBe! Wish I had added Sweet Surrender, that was has really blossomed! :) Going to try and wait for the coupon, still pretty full, but I can't wait too long, lol! Not at the rate I am vaping it now. ;) That was actually most of the rest I want to try, excluding maybe two or three. Maybe, depending on how Shipwrecked goes. ;) Of course, if I don't enjoy it, I'm sure someone will be willing to make a trade, I had such a good feeling on it, I got more than 10 mL. Hasn't steered me wrong yet at all! ;) I did have to get larger capacity as I will be working with one arm for a while. :) My spinner came in today and I am having a blast with it. Very good for the e liquids that have some tendency to to possibly be a little thinner and find the nuances in them, IMHO. I do have VV/VW but I don't have the hang of VW yet on some e liquids. :) I'll get there!

So I was reading on this thread the other day (a response to a question by AngieB) that basically said a high VG content might be an issue with causing congestion. People usually think PG causes more issues. Now (after pretty much converting all my juices to a high VG ratio in order to avoid PG) I'm thinking that might be my problem as well. I get a bit of a rattle in the back of me throat by the end of the day that causes a cough.

Would there be any way to increase the PG level of my existing juices without impacting the flavor too much? Just add plain PG? I've no experience with DIY products so where do people get unflavored PG?

I have seen unflavored PG on a ton of different sites that have their own DIY supplies, including Mom And Pop's, most recently! :) But it will dilute the flavors. I enjoy the majority of mine at 70/30, still get great vapor production, IMHO.

Bryan- I have 2 iTaste V3.0, one white and one chameleon, I loved the chameleon but it wasn't available at FT.

GameDesigner- I love my iTaste MVP 2.0! I have the first one, I love them both, they last for days without needing to be charged! Will be especially nice on my cruise. Be able to charge my iPod too! ;)

I did speak to one of the mods, who is on one of the threads I frequent occasionally, she said they may pass regulations but they will not go into effect for months. So no reason to worry just yet or run out and buy a bunch of liquid for that reason. If you want to do it just because, well, that's different! :D She's on the forefront of all the legislation things and everything, so I trust her. Vapeaggedon is not on yet. :)

Still glad I placed that order though, Fijian Nights and Strawberry Vanilla Cake are huge loves of mine. May have to get that Sweet Surrender anyways though, going to see how my Peppermint Bark turns out. :D

What the.........!!! wowie zowie!!!

My expectations of Boba Tea; thought it would be a subtle vape that I may appreciate and grow into with time. Intead, first vape and WHAM.. this is amazing! I LOVE this flavor that's being presented to me. Damn.. I was going to get the 30ml too. I planned on giving this the long steep treatment but nope, I'll let it sit a couple weeks to settle and then dive in. This bottle will go quick.

Getting anything resembling coconut?

Yeah, the tapioca tastes pretty strong fresh, and I can easily see it interpreted as coconut. I like the tapioca flavor; my guess is the tea notes come forward with age and push the tapioca back. It tastes really, really good to me, but not yet blended. Like how Caramel Pear Black Tea had an awesome caramel flavor fresh that dominated and with age the black tea and pear came out for a blended taste.

Eeek! I can always depend on you to make me giggle. I am most certainly not always right although don't tell my daughter that.

I know you like Sahara? Are there any other Ahlusion tobaccos that use the same or similar tobacco base as Sahara? I couldn't find anything else on the site. Something that Wlad made for me based on Sahara is the only tobacco I've ever found that I actually like with most of the others not even being close to being vapable.

I'd ask Wlad to make another bottle of what you liked. I'm sure he has a record of what it was. I don't think he has any other stuff on the site that uses Turkish or a Turkish/Virginia blend (like Sahara).

I don't think Smooth C and Desperado are much alike actually, except that they're both really long steeps. Desperado seems to me very like the tobacco in JG.

Btw, how old do you like it best at?

I like it at any age, to tell the truth. But it does get better with time. I just finished my 2+ month bottle and it was exquisite. But maybe it was exquisite because I just drained the last drops from that bottle. Who knows? :)

Don't worry Katya, it's definately tapioca! Bubble tea all the way.

I'm probably going to want to try all the flavored versions. Great, try one juice and now want half a dozen others.. no wonder the list keeps getting bigger!

I tried the honeydew version, but it wasn't as good as the plain one. The honeydew was too aggressive at the beginning, but it did mellow out a bit as it aged.
