My first Ahlusion order was placed on the 11th and by the 18th I got no ship notice so I sent them an email (with order #) which has gone unanswered yet my credit card was charged on the 11th. Is this normal for them?
Yes it is. You need to allow about 5-6 business days and then they usually ship your order. Every order is custom made so that's why it takes longer than most other juice vendors.

Don't worry... it's worth the wait. :2cool:

Hmmmm, mutter, grumble, they claim 3-5 days to ship plus the shipping time. Which could mean it is on the way but should be NOW! I WANT MY juice! :grr:

You'll most definitely be notified when it does ship off (or when pickup is scheduled anyway), so if you haven't, it hasn't. You can also check the status on the website, I think. Make sure it says "confirmed." If not, there's a problem.

I really like Spiced Pumpkin Latte a lot. Someone mentioned here it's even better with the sweet option, and at times I think, yes, this could use a touch more sweetness. So I was thinking tonight to order it next time with the sweet option checked, but then thought, even better I should buy some diy sweetner so I can add just the right amount.

So I'm wondering.. what does Ahl add to the juice when people choose the sweet option? Anyone know? That would be what I'd want to buy.
I was thinking the same thing - just add a little diy sweetener! I'd also like to know what they use or which sweeteners might be good for this.

Has anyone just added a touch of vanilla WW, or does Vecchio approximate a better RY4 with CWW than CWW and WWW? Either which way, I am vaping the last of CWW right this very moment. I rarely finish off bottles, so this is telling me something.

My 30ml bottle of CWW is also going much faster than I anticipated. This juice has made the biggest change of any Ahl juice with how much I like it. With the caramel backing off and tobacco coming forward it's now an anytime vape for me. Definite re-order.

Yes... FedEx SmartPost truly sucks! Ahlusion went to this shipping method because apparently there were some orders that were being "lost" by the USPS. That's never happened to me though.

On my next order I'm going to ask them to ship to me via USPS Priority Mail. Hopefully they'll do that for me.

Well, if it was the case that orders were "lost" (which is something I tend to be a little skeptical of anyway--at least in any large numbers) they should definitely be hearing about these problems with FedEx. Since I have not encountered any problems, I ask all of you that have: have you told Ahlusion and what did they have to say? I imagine if everyone that receives these problems emails them exactly what gets posted, they may have to re-think it. They don't read ECF, so I can't help but to believe that they NEED to be hearing each and every single case of unreasonable delays in all these shipping woes.

It's funny you guys are talking about caramel WW, I have just about finished my first bottle of it in 4 days! I love it! I ordered Maple WW and Vanilla WW this time off the express line when they had that great sale...are these equally as good? I'm hoping it will get here by Thursday...

I would like to hear your opinion on the Maple WW in comparison to the Caramel. I have a bottle of the Vanilla WW in the queue.

My latest Ahlusion review covers Orient Whisper, Cherry Cola, and Sahara Blend. I really like Cherry Cola and love the other two. Objectively, Ahlusion's Cherry Cola is one of the best soda juices I've had, but I prefer Clever Vapes' Brooklyn Pop since it has a spicier kick that I really enjoyed. Full details and steeping recommendations in the full text review.

I haven't had those two, just the caramel, apple, and peach WW. I know others have liked the vanilla and maple WW, but when the caramel came out it was the one that really wowwed the most people. CWW is probably the most universally loved of the WWs, so if you get the others don't expect it to grab you like CWW, but it's very possible you will like them a lot.

I definately plan on trying them, I haven't been disappointed yet by WW line. I love vanilla tobacco and after Maple Burley I'm excited about Ahl's maple, so those will be next for me. If I remember right, Wlad wasn't too happy with the vanilla and cherry WW at first and some revisions have been made on those since they first came out.

As expected, great review. Haven't had the cherry cola, but I feel the same about the other two is you do. The little Orient I've vaped is the best topical fruit blend I've had. The fruit is delicious and realistic, no candy, plus the tangy and creamy layers you mentioned that allow it to stand out. Most fruit blends quickly bore me, even if the taste is good they are rarely complex. A bunch of fruits may be involved, still the fruit flavors combine into the one fruit punch note that feels simple unless other layers are added, which that one does.

And Sahara.. that one I respect a lot as an extremely well thought out blend. The way sweet, dry, and spicy elements all come together is just impressive. I look at dry and sweet as opposite ends of one spectrum. Saying a juice is sweet and dry is like saying it's heavy and light, or flavorful and bland, it just doesn't make sense. But SB.. yep, sweet AND dry, and not just sweet one vape and dry the next (thought it does that too), but both sweet and dry at the exact same time. Magic is involved. I like it fresh, but as it ages it seems more natural and less like artibacco, so I agree it benefits from several weeks of age.

:pop: Say WHAT?! I wasn't "wild" about Vanilla WW when it first came out, either (much to my disappointment) -- I will definitely re-order it again, if Wlad has tweaked it! :w00t:

I was thinking the same thing - just add a little diy sweetener! I'd also like to know what they use or which sweeteners might be good for this.

It's a far more complex solution than you might think. IMHO, THE King is not inclined to just add sweetener from what I can tell. In fact he adjust the components of the mix so it taste sweeter and this understandably places a limit on the sweet factor he can produce (Sharon PR Lady extraordinaire mentioned this as well with an email exchange with THE King). Obviously this is just my guess and I'm by no means an expert DIY geek.

For example, I'm currently vaping Lime Cream. YUM! You could increase the % of Cream and Lower the % of the Lime extract to achieve this. Just because it's described as "cream" doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't have other elements in it and it's not sweet all by itself. We have had a few posts on using liquid Stevia like this one: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../446286-ahlusion-e-juice-79.html#post11017076 The "Clan" members get good results from what I read so that would be my first stop.

You can achieve less than one drop in your mix using a toothpick swirled in the Stevia liquid and then into your juice. Start with a small amount and work your way up. Ideally, this mix should be mixed in a separate container which you shake vigoursly before you fill your device.

In the DIY world these are often used DURING the creation of the mix and normally not as an afterthought:

Cotton Candy (Circus) (TFA)
TFA - Sweetener

HTH and happy mixing

:)

I would check on that info before committing to a re-order. I just remember it being mentioned, can't say for sure if my memory is correct or if the info was correct. If you want a better VWW it's worth looking into though, maybe checking with Wlad.

I kind of remember something like sucralose being used by Wlad for the sweeter option (alongside flavor tweaks of course). That's a very vague memory though, so hoping to find out if it's sucralose or a different sweetner used by Ahl before buying some.

Got my bottle of Shipwreck today from Mozzer. He didn't really dig it, so a lot left in the 30ml bottle, and he orders the same specs as I do so turned out well for me.

This is a unique flavor for the non-aro line. Lime and coconut is two flavors I haven't had with tobacco, so this is new to me. I enjoyed it right away, but found it more fascinating than loving it. Several hours of vaping it later, I still like it but have no idea if it's one I'll grow to love. The potential is there for sure. It's a very interesting and complex vape, and hard to get a solid grip on. Thanks Moz!
