I would appreciate a recommended steep time for Smooth Criminal, if it's not too much trouble. I believe you all now when you said it needs a good long steep!

The older it gets, the more the tobacco grows and the sweet/savory aspects fade, so you should probably try it every few days till you like it. For me: eight weeks.

Yeah like Cherry said the dessert parts fade and the tobacco comes forward, and it does this change slowly but consistantly. At 8 weeks the dessert part is almost all gone, replaced by a light unspecific sweetness that compliments the tobacco. If someone just wants a lightly sweet tobacco flavor, put it away. If someone doesn't mind the dessert but finds it overpowering, keep trying it every few days.

I'll definitely keep trying it, then. I don't want to put it away and miss the sweet spot when it comes. I sort of like the suspense! And I don't dislike it, I just can't figure it out. Yet. Now on the other hand, Caramel Wild Wood! I LOVE this. Right now. Right here. But I have the dreaded "vaper's tongue" for a couple of days and on top of that, hot juice from a 306 popped in my mouth and now my tongue is also burned a little. So I'm going to wait until my taster is back to normal. No wasting the Ahlusion! I have been told by a reputable source that ice water and chewing gum may help. I've been doing the ice water, but there's no gum in the house.

If my taster is off where I'm not getting full flavor, it's a sign I'm not hydrated enough. Drink lots of water to avoid vaper's tongue, and it's good for the body anyways. Vaping pulls liquid from the body since that's a property of pg, so people often have to up their liquids when vaping. The only other time I experience that is when sick, nothing to do about that except vape up the lesser juices.

Will do, and thank you Jerms. Now I'm off to bed!

So today or tomorrow I should be receiving my first order of express liquids...these are ready to vape right?

The general rule of thumb is that the XPress line is similar to a 2 week pre-steep. Some may be perfect out of vape mail but some you might prefer more with more steeping.

Drip to taste before you commit anything to a tank. Save a bit of juice back for further sampling for anything you love right away. You may end up loving it more after more steeping.

Question for the experts. I made a mistake by buying a 0mg 60ml of Smooth Criminal so I ordered a 24mg 60ml to mix both to equal 12mg (120ml total).

Since received I need to now mix to get to 9mg.

How much 0mg do I add to get this mix to 9mg - Is it 30ml?

To get 120ml's of 12mg juice down to 9mg yes, I believe you would need to add another 30ml's of 0mg juice.

Assuming both juices in the Mix have the same PG/VG percent here is your formula courtesy of eJuice Me Up:

NIC base 1 which is 24 MG = use 36 ML
NIC Base 2 which is 0 MG = use 60 ML

Result is a 96 ML mix @ a 9 MG NIC

Same calculations but a smaller finished mix batch:

NIC base 1 which is 24 MG = use 18 ML
NIC base 2 which is 0 MG - use 30 ML

Result is a 48 ML mix @ a 9 MG NIC

Notes: Natch you will need some way to measure each component. Then this mix should be performed in a separate/new container which you shake vigoursly for 30 seconds. If one of the components is "older" than the other then "seed steeping occurs" which means the finished mix matures faster than it would if both components were the same age.

Our resident "smack talker" aka @Jerms LOL /joke is spot on. I also suggest you try Biotene which Wallgreens and others always carries. Great stuff, I use it twice a day as part of my "buds maintenance" procedure. Gargle for 30 seconds. Do NOT swallow. Then gargle with water for 30 seconds.

Good luck and get well

I'm still loving my Contrary Cherry and Midnight Cherry......

Quick question though,

I made it through about 3 fills of Contrary Cherry in an EVOD (2.5 ohm) running at about 5.5 watts, and the flavor started to taste a little off, with reduced flavor. This is usually my signal to change the coil, so I did.

Does this flavor have a reputation for clogging coils pretty quickly?

White Rabbit definately does clog coils fairly quickly, as does Black Clove, so I am familiar with the syndrome...

TIA

This helped very much and I need to download that Calculator.

Thanks.

I would say yes...but if using the stock coils on your EVOD have you ever just tried a dry burn to get a few more tanks out of it? If not, there are a couple of you tube videos showing how...

Thanks Iowa Gal!!!!

I wanted to know if I needed to plan on more frequent coil maintanence with Contrary Cherry and Midnight Cherry (Both @ 50/50 18 mg/ml), like I do with White Rabbit, and Black Clove.

As an aside, I have run through about 25 mls of Pina Colada from MBV in an EVOD, and I'm still using the short stem coil unit in it!!!! (Of course, I rotate liquids alot, and use a dedicated clearo for each flavor)

Some liquids just don't seem to gunk up coils, and some do.....

Go figure ;)

I kind of remember something like sucralose being used by Wlad for the sweeter option (alongside flavor tweaks of course). That's a very vague memory though, so hoping to find out if it's sucralose or a different sweetner used by Ahl before buying some.

Per an email from A+ some time ago, Wlad does not use ANY of the typical off-the-shelf sweeteners (sucralose, ethyl maltol, aspartame, etc.) in his juices. (Natch!)

Instead, he uses some mystery ingredients + mixmastery to achieve sweetness levels.

'Taint nothing simple about A+ juices! :D
