Hello there...I have 2 questions that I would appreciate if I can find out if Smooth criminal is the same today as it was a month ago. I do not remember that is it was paired with chocolate. Also, in your opinion what tobaccos would you consider as good or better than smooth criminal.

Thank you...any suggestions will be appreciated.

Smooth Criminal is the same as it has been, but the new liquid, Just Criminal, is Smooth Criminal plus chocolate. Frankly, Frankster, I think it's their best tobacco . However, I am also one that thinks it needs to steep for a long time. You'll find various recommendations or opinions about when it is "ready" (some think right out of the box), so there isn't a general consensus as to how long it needs to sit or even if it does.

Their second best tobacco I would say is Caramel Wild Wood. I may even be quicker to suggest that since we are all pretty much in agreement that that one tastes good OOTB and if we do like it "steeped," it takes a short amount of time to reach that point.

My suggestions are excluding the aros which I love but don't recommend blindly. They're easily not for everyone.

Possible to outspend the smoke days. Think most of us did at first. Got to find the device and juices that work best for you. Then it'll settle down. Unless you decide to try the newest every time something comes out. Think the wife and I have saved a little over 3K in two years but it went to new water pipes, new A/C, higher insurance, taxes and food.

Ahlusion fruits are natural and not over amped candy like some vendors stuff. Might look at a few of the crèams to start. Lemon and lime creams are popular. For non tobs that seems to scratch that itch, the teas work for a lot of folks me included. Strangely enough too the coffee vapes work. Don't drink coffee but vape it and enjoy it it a lot. Might try the JG Blend for starters, its a tob with a good coffee note.

30 is pretty stout stuff. Way to strong for me. Started with 24 and went to 18 pretty quickly. At 12 now and 8 on some juices. Good luck and hang in there. The cash flow will smooth out in a little while if you find a few things that work well.

Ooops, I didn't mean 30 mg nicotine, meant 30 ml of juice, yikes, I do 18 right now.

I do not drink Tea.

If someone told me a few months ago that I would like Tea e-liquid you would have knocked me over with a feather. This is coming from a Tobacco type guy at the start of vaping.

So far, I really enjoy the Caramel Pear Black Tea and this week during the Day I have been vaping Boba Tea which was a Free Sample.

Really enjoying the Boba Tea also so I am wondering if there are other must try Tea's. I am looking at Vanilla Black Tea since I also like Vanilla but I need some TH and lingering taste in my mouth after vaping. Any suggestions for my wish list?

Ha ha -- I do drink tea, mainly iced tea and definitely nothing fancy. So, imagine my surprise to find that teas are high on my vaping flavor profile.

Tobaccos are number 1 for me, no doubt, but Ahlusion's teas are what grabbed me. I've had a few teas from other vendors that were pretty good, but the variety of A+'s teas is what keeps me interested.

Another add to your wishlist: Berry Shangri-La Tea. I don't know how you feel about fruits and berries, lol, but this remains my favorite tea offering of all. Cool berry and black tea mixture on inhale and light coconut upon exhale. Delicate, yet flavorful. I love it.

Ditto to what Professor Mann said. IF you like mild smooth tobacco then you might want to try Shipwreck at Tobacco : Shipwreck. It's smooth, light, semi sweet with a roasted coconutty/semi light spicy tones.

Having said this it's all about your taste buds and not mine or anyone else in this thread. It would be helpful and you will receive better advice if you tell us what juices you like currently and what kind of juices your trying to find in the AHL Menu of over 70 creations.

I purchased a bottle of both Strawberry Vanilla cake and Caramel Wild wood and as i usually do with all juice i try a small sample out of the box. Both these flavours were extremely disappointing, The SVC tasted like watered down strawberry juice and the CWW tasted like stale unsweetened caramel. Obviously these would need to steep.

It's been 4 weeks and i popped these open only to find the SVC is now virtually flavorless (like vaping water) and the CWW hasn't changed. after all the Hype iv'e read on these guys i'd expect at least something moderately good, sadly this is the worst juice I have ever vaped and I don't think i'll be ordering from them again.

If lack of flavor is what your experiencing, then I don't think you have tried many vendors. I have had some that were flat out un-vapable and would not give to anyone. Not trying to suggest these flavors are good for you but I have yet to try a flavor from Ahlusion I could not vape. There are some I don't like, but nothing even near the class of the "worst vape ever".

I am a lover of in your face flavours :) and always have been. Currently i have some in my rotation that i just love and would not be willing to put them all aside on the off chance i may begin to develop a taste for 1 specific vendor.

Definitely *don't* put them aside and go for this, at least wait until you finish the other juices. I sorta did that and... well, I was vaping a few ECB Dragon series just fine, then my Ahlusion arrived and steeped for a couple weeks. I started in with them, and found them "muted" at best. I liked the flavor, I just couldn't taste much of it. But I decided to stick with them for 4 or 5 days exclusively (other than my morning java vape). After that, I picked up one of the tanks that was still filled with Dragon fluid and gakked. Way too in your face and way, WAY too sweet. Blech. So now I've got to order some bitter wizard and try to cut that down or there's about 500ml laying around here that's going down the toilet

Thank you also. I only vape 4 juices. all tobacco. When it comes to juices, I almost always hate the juice. I tried CWW and I am not really sure on it. I only had 10 mil and I did not make it steep.

I vape tribeca from halo and Kentucky premium blend from Vermillion and now smooth criminal I tried it about 3 times and I made the mistake of getting 90/10 vg/pg at 12mg and there is absolutely no hit. I purchased more so I can mix it.

I vape at 12mg usually at 70/30 pg/vg. Is this the case with their tobaccos that with a higher vg level, there is no hit. I knew the hit would be less but this was nothing at all.

Thank you again.

...I believe the coil wrapping jig you are talking about is made by "Darkzero" here on the ECF. Personally I just use a 1/16" drill bit that I bought for my Dremel. The drill bit set was something like $8 for a set of 7 bits.

The Artistic Wire Coiling Gizmo Deluxe Winder is a different critter than the jig that ECF dark zero sells. Darkzero's is made from better quality materials and is small enough to be easily stashable most anywhere. The wire coiling winder can be clamped to a table so might be easier to use for someone with arthritis or shaky hands.

...I'm in the "trades" and work out of a van. Last week I found my little vape setup didn't work, too damn cold apparently. I have a 510 drip thing that works at home, use my EGO and Kanger during the day at work but have to bring it inside with me or it freezes up. OMG, I can't wait till spring, or at least next week when it's supposed to get above freezing again.
...

The cold isn't good for batteries aside from the fact that it can make juices too thick to vape. You might want to try a lanyard and keep your PV underneath your coat to keep it warm.

I think you might enjoy Vurley as well as Vanilla Black Tea. The lingering taste is likely something that will be affected by hydration and what else you have been eating or vaping. I expect that it would vary from individual to individual as well.

If the throat hit suited you with Caramel Black Pear Tea then either Vurley as well as Vanilla Black Tea should be fine. PG adds a bit of throat hit. You might want to up the PG if throat hit is important to you.

Yep, very different products. The Gizmo is more of a winder, you turn the handle for as many wraps as you want. DZ's jig is a clamp for the wire and you wrap the wire around a bit.

I think for most of us in the micro coil thread, the Gizmo kind of made the DZ jig obsolete because it puts out perfect coils easier than hand winding and gets rid of the need to fire and squeeze the wraps together, and at a third the price. It's funny because a couple companies had copied the design that DarkZero came up with and are selling clones, but after now that winding is all the rage they probably won't sell much of the clone, which serves them right.

And the brain behind the Gizmo winder is sitting back like, "Woohoo! What the hell is going on?!"

Lol, and that would be LeRoy Goertz, his picture is on the back of the box. Has a nerdy grampa look going on.

I bet that Lima Beads place is wondering why the hell it sold out in a couple days. Especially if it's normally a slow ticket item. Maybe they think jewelery making is the hot new trend of the youth.

I loved the box (with the info on the inventor), but what was really sweet (LOL) was the Twizz!

Desperado from Ahlusion, accidently ordered at 70% VG (wanted 70% PG) at 12mg, steeped about 4 months.

This feels like a cigarette vape to me. Not a cig NET like Big Spirit from NETcom, but more how synthetic tobaccos have that top note that can satisfy that cig itch. That's good for new vapers who are coming off smokes, but it doesn't do much for me. I don't dislike it, but I don't seek it out anymore. It's a cigarette flavor, not really a tobacco flavor.

That's not to say there isn't tobacco notes in Desperado. Those notes it has are just kind of boring to me, especially compared to the large selection of really great NETs in Ahl's non-aro category. There's a nice subtle sweet taste, and it's a fairly smooth vape, but overall I'm not digging it much. Maybe that will change, it's certainly vapable, but I'd be surprised if it turns into a great vape for me. I have a feeling if Wlad created this today, he wouldn't add it to the menu.
