I've got a question - is the Kayfun an open system like a dripper (like the igo-l), or is it a closed system like a protank? I live in a mountainous area and when I drive up to higher elevations (+3,000 ft.) my protanks always gurgle and leak. My igo-l won't leak because it's an open system that isn't affected by pressure and temperature changes, but the igo-l won't hold enough juice for a long drive in the mountains. I've tried dripping and driving...

Would the Kayfun work up and down mountains or would it still leak like a protank? Or, is there an open-system topper that holds more juice than the igo-l? An igo-w maybe?

I've tried chain-vaping on my protanks and also turning them upside-down and cracking them open just a tad while going up the mountains to equalize the pressure, and this sometimes helps to keep them from leaking, but not usually.

Leaks may also happen when ambient temperature and/or pressure changes abruptly, for example when you walk into a heated room from the cold or in an airplane during take-off/landing. It may even happen during rapid ascent/descent in express elevator. Solid (metal) parts of the device are expanding/shrinking with temperature/pressure change, changing the volume of the tank and causing E-Liquid to flow into the evaporation chamber. Pressure drop causes the process similar to what happens when you draw, just without heating the coil. To avoid leakage in such cases we recommend you to keep/transfer Kayfun upside down i.e. mouthpiece down. In this case, grooves (2j) will be at the top in the "air bubble" and when the temperature or pressure changes, air will flow between evaporation chamber and tank instead of E-Liquid.

Sahara sounds right up your alley.. Shipwreck's tobacco is more felt than tasted but I love it mixed 1:1 with Sahara. VWW is probably the sweetest of the ones you mentioned. Gold Rising is the most tobacco forward but there's a funkiness about it that some folks liken to rodent piss. It's not that bad though, seriously. Vecchio is one of my favorites but it took a while for the tobacco to come out. It used to be sold with a "strong tobacco" option.. probably if you mentioned in the notes that you wanted stronger tobacco, they could do it. To be safe though, use the "contact us" form on the website and inquire about it.

Vecchio is one of my favorites but it took a while for the tobacco to come out. It used to be sold with a "strong tobacco" option.. probably if you mentioned in the notes that you wanted stronger tobacco, they could do it.

To be fair, I think I just said on the feedback that I'd like to see a plain WW offered, not that I intended on ordering it right away. I'll use the contact us form when I want to order it. I'm leaning toward getting a 30 of Vanilla WW next order though, probably a 30 of Just Criminal too.

I experience dealing with pressure change, not from altitude change, but from temp change, like from 20 below zero temps into 70 degree indoors. The difference between what happens with my KFL vs. my Protank 2 is huge. First off, the KFL actually works well in extreme cold which my PT2 didn't, and also the most I would get as far as leaking from the KFL is a small drop from the airhole. Also, the KFL works perfect for me until the tank is bone dry which wasn't my experience with the PT2.

Whatever works. I lean towards high VG and am no longer interested in throat hit and am fine. I vape way too much too. Also, if you live in a cold climate in winter right now and have the heater on that's how every morning is unless you have a humidifier. A humidifier works wonders though if you live in sub-zero winters and run any heat at all.

My house is certainly dry but I do have a whole house humidifier on my furnace. Problem is we had sub zero temps for close to 2 weeks and below 20 degree temps for longer, can only turn the humidity up so high or I'd get condensation on my windows and in my walls, last thing I want is a mold issue. Warmer temps are on the way regardless. For now I'm just hoping the sore throat goes away quick, was very bad today.

Got another Lemon Vanilla Cake. The first bottle I ordered at 70/30 and I'm just too damn impatient to wait for it to steep.. soooo I got a new one in 50/50.

Also picked up Vanilla Black Tea because... Well, I just wanted it. Requested it sweetened and with extra vanilla. I seriously <3 ahlusion's vanilla.

And, I've finally dipped into my bottle of Wild Wood plain today. I never really fully agreed with people calling the WW's "smokey", but I do now. It's quite smokey and packs quite a punch. But alas, on its own its just a little boring... Or maybe I'm just having a little de ja vu from having first tasted this in the flavored varieties. I will probably use this as a palate resetter, or if by some weird chance I'm in the mood for a cigarette-like vape. Which honestly, that never happens to me.. I haven't missed smoking one bit since I began vaping. This is sooo much more fun.

ya know I had got vanilla WW at 70 pg/30 vg and really was so so about it

also wasn't getting much vapor at low voltage and at higher voltage didn't care for the taste

so I got another bottle with high vg and mixed it to 60 vg

and what a difference

Ahh finally getting caught up on you guys...a windows 8 update possibly bricked my laptop, so I am relegated to this craptastic and ancient imac until it comes back from the shop. I seriously hope windows 8 dies in a fire, and not from the smoke, but from the flames...

Anyway! I need your expertise once again . It's the 4 days, $40 dollar challenge! My 15% off will expire then, and I'm pretty much set on 60ml of SC, and 30 of CWW - I just can't decide if I want 50/50, or 70pg/30vg...hmmm thoughts? My aros are in 70pg/30vg, except for DD! which is 50/50 (I was scared at first)...Not sure if I'm sophisticated enough to differentiate with those ratios, and I greatly prefer stronger flavor over teh huge clouds, bro.

I also need help choosing 2 more 10mls to try... I was thinking a coffee, and maybe another non-aro tobacco or fruit. I'm also wanting to try an A+ chocolate something..just not sure which and the budget is small.

Here's what I had from my last two orders:

BGB - Loved it
DD! - Loved it more than BGB
Vurley -- Absolutely cannot and will not live without this to love forever and ever and...ok, that's enough
Sahara Blend -- really liked it, thought I loved it, but more of a friends with benefits kind of thing now
JG Blend -- really liked the coffee part, wasn't sure of the tobacco part, but not sure if coffee/tobacco combos are for me
SC - hated it at first, started to really love it at around 6 weeks (you all were right as usual)
Boba Tea Coconut -- really enjoying it now at around 5 weeks - more tapioca taste than coconut though (still good)
Mango Lassi -- meh...not as good as I was hoping. The mango is toned down and the yogurt is there at around 5 weeks, but probably not a re-order
Gold Rising -- haven't even tried it yet, Jerms' description has scared me off for a while, but it's about 5 weeks old so I'll give it a shot soon

so what do you think?

Hey brother! I'm hanging in there, thanks for asking. I think I will go with that and do 50/50 on CWW and SC. How are you liking the IGO S? I'm loving the cheap kayfun and nemesis clones (Vurley lives in the Kayfun, and I can get about a tank and half before the coil goes to hell), and I'm still trying to figure out the right builds for the IGO's, but Jerm's hookup for the coil winder gizmo is helping a lot (thanks again, bud!).

Now just to pick the other two 10mls, and I'll have already spent my March budget before the damn month starts again!
