When I first tried my Smooth Criminal 2 weeks ago at age about 2 weeks I didn't get the hype. But last night I was dripping it in an IGO and thought hummm. I recently got a 2nd MVP and it came with an Iclear 16s. I decided to load it today with SC and have toyed with it all day. Tonight I have been vaping away and I GET IT! Wow, I can't put it down. Soo good.

yes its a steeper
and great out of rda

My flavor boredom is making me to do weird things. Today I'm vaping a mix of Winter Wildwood and Melon Masquerade. Um... don't try this at home, kids.

But, I think I'm going to mix Lemon Cream + Wild Wood next. Not sure how this is going to work out, but I think it has potential to be the best net ever, haha.

Can someone please give me some hints about an Aurora BFT? I can't get it to work consistently. Sometimes I get no hiss and no vapor, just gurgling. Am I flooding the atty? I turn it upside down and squeeze, then right it and let go. I'm using the atty that came with it, and it does look strange inside, like there's some filler material around the sides. This doesn't always happen, though. Sometimes it does work, with the normal hiss and vapor, but it tastes terrible! Like strong plastic, very unpleasant. I've been struggling with it for about a week. It may be something I'm doing wrong, but I don't know. I hope it can be fixed, because I could take it to work with me instead of clearos. Please help!
I got one about a week ago. I don't use it. It tasted like burning plastic and didn't work right. I emptied the tank and took it apart. A white plastic well ring around the coil was completely melted into scraps. Explains the plastic taste. As far as I am concerned, it's a poorly designed good idea. Others have reported the plastic-y taste too. It's melting, people!

Ah Hah! I love it, Lemon Wild Wood. Plagiarism at it's best. juicearism?

Please mention which Wild Wood you are trying and Why bother Ahlusion with mix ideas that may not turn out well? Until I find a 'perfect' mix for me I will not ask Wlad to update my profile with that blend preference. :)

Mix On ! :D

It is an attempt to work the same as a Reo, Vmod, etc. at a lower cost. Idea is proven but I had to wonder how it would work in this form.

It sounds to me like you have a bad atty. You can use any bridgeless, unsealed atty in the Aurora. Most atties are unsealed and the ones I've seen that aren't say so in the product description. I've used Cisco specs and HH.357s successfully but other brands should work fine.

You can also rebuild the spare heads that come with the Aurora with a cotton wicked micro-coil. I haven't personally bothered to do it because I'm so fond of my HH.357s.

Also, make sure that the little clear washer in the top of the atty is at least half way between the coil and end of the atty. If it's too close to the coil it will likely burn. The washer is only there to keep the atty from leaking if you invert the Aurora, squeeze and leave it upside down for some time before righting it. I generally don't use them.

I had some Strawberry Shortcake in my mini protank but it was getting low so I went to top it up, didn't have my glasses on, grabbed a bottle that had two words in its name that both started with 'S' because that's all I could make out on the label... topped off the tank... with Sweet Surrender! Now vaping Strawberry Surrender Cake and it's pretty good!
My strawberry flavor is behaving itself today too :vapor:

Dipping into my well steeped bottle of Blueberry Vanilla Cake today. To early to say for sure, but so far not getting the magic I get from Strawberry Vanilla Cake. It is very, very good, but so far leaning toward SVC as my preference.
I like the Blueberry well-steeped, like 6 weeks. I think I prefer the SVC too, just a wee bit more over the BVC. I can't wait to try me some of that LVC (lemon vanilla cake!) I'm determined to make a special request for it with my next order.

The silicone washer is not supposed to be touching nor close to the coil! That would be true of any coil and silicone part. There is nothing wrong with the Aurora's design but Vision should have included information about the washer's purpose and correct placement in the directions. I generally don't bother with using the washer but, placed halfway between the coil and top of the atty, I've never had any burn't plastic issues.

I have five Auroras paired with HH.357s that I use for flavors I keep in my secondary rotation. I purchased my first four last August/September and one recently. They have all worked absolutely perfectly for me unlike my VMOD which I dislike because it seems to be stingy about feeding juice.

Since this is an Ahlusion thread and we sumptimes talk hardware... :?:

GOT Vapemail Today... It wasn't Ahlusion

It was the Itaste VTR from Vermillion River with two AW IMR 18650 1600mah 24a YaaaY! :)

It's very cool and I don't have anything to charge the batteries 'cause the mod arrived before the XTAR WP2 II Charger and 2 EFEST IMR 18650 Button 2250mah 10a. BummeR:(

In the mean time I learned the workings of the IClear 30S and loaded it with Peachy Criminal to launch my first vape from a mod. YaaaY! :)

More to follow.:D

I've been using them for several months on multiple device's and have had no problems. I never used the atty that came with them as I prefer the cisco 306 LR 1.5 atty. To fill/add liquid I tip upside down and give a small/gentle squeeze and release while still upside down, has worked for me with no problems, just don't squeeze to hard or it will flood, which can be corrected by taking a couple of hard dry pulls. These also work great on the Innokin VTR.

Thank you very much to everyone who responded to me about the Aurora. I just got home from work and after reading all the information you all gave me, I am ready to tinker with it. I took it apart and found the small clear ring, and sure enough it was way too close to the coil. Took it off and tossed it. Cleaned it up a little, put it all back together and... nothing. The atty is dead! Took it off and tossed it. Next step is to use my own 510. Will report back ASAP!

Success! I wanted to give it a little while to see if it was really working, and it is working great. I actually thought the plastic-y taste was coming from the little plastic tank, but it wasn't. It was that ring. My 510 atty is making this Aurora better than I had hoped for. I have it going with Boba Tea Coconut, and it's awesome. Thank you again for helping me.
