I taste it! And I don't like it! But...I will continue to steep, as my bottle is only 17 days old & I'm hoping the flavor/odor of burnt ashes(mixed with mildewy sweat socks) goes away!! Forgive me Ahlusions-for I know not what I say

EDIT: I've been curious to try an aromatic blend...can anyone recommend a good one and describe what it tastes like? I was thinking of 'Smokin Cherries' but still am not sure. The only 'Burley' juices I've tried were from other vendors and tasted like an ashtray smells. Is this maybe because it wasn't NET? Still confused & learning.

Gold Rising is supposed to be a tribute to the original Ruyan, I guess. It's not an RY4 as we know them now -- no vanilla and caramel. It's a very pungent NET with honey. As for other flavor details, well. . .ask Jerms.
Smokin Cherries is (like all of the aromatics) a powerful, raw pipe tobacco flavor -- although SC leans heavily toward Virginia tobacco, rather than burleys. The cherries in that one are to me the best of all of Ahlusion's delicious cherry flavors. Many fans of very strong tobaccos love it. But beware! Powerful. Raw. Very strong.
I think Cocoa Blend is a great aro to try first. You'll get the strong tobacco flavor, but it is so deftly paired with a strong dark cocoa (NOT chocolate) that it seems less intimidating maybe. Honey Cured and Vurley work similarly with honey and vanilla instead of cocoa.
Got my coupon and because I got so many varied responses on the SVC vs BVC vs SS I just did the 10ml bottle and got both S Shortcake and B VAnilla CAke. I Also got Banana's Foster and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Just hate small bottles because I will try it and try it and by the time I love it it will be gone and the whole thing will give me anxiety.
After hearing all the great reviews about Ahlusion, I decided to place a order. After letting them steep for about a week, I decided to give it a go. I am quite displeased by my experience however. Whenever I vape their juice, I get a burning throat sensation and it also leads to my throat feeling itchy. I am vaping 6mg 70vg/30pg. I know I am not allergic to vg as I have vaped 100% vg juices. Has anyone else experienced this? I thought maybe I had a bad coil so I rebuilt it and still getting the same results. I do notice that when I first vape after I freshly dripped the juice, its more prominent. Anyone have any ideas?

My idea is to first try it again on a different device altogether, and see if you still get the same result. Just to rule that out.
Sorry, this has never happened to me at all. All the juices I got were smooth. Vecchio messes with my throat a little though, but it's not close to being finished steeping yet

Pink Label hasn't been talked about much lately. It is an excellent fruit blend. So is Rune, Sweet Surrender, and Red, White, and Blueberry! I love them all. I prefer Pink label and Sweet Surrender after a 6 week steep. I found a bottle of Sweet Surrender along with the Chocolate Cream that was almost a year old. It was amazing. I bought 2 new bottles and hid one. LOL. I'll treat myself in 3 or 4 months with it.
Luna Fortuna is another excellent fruit mix that no one knows what is in it but it sure is good.

It may be the temp is too high and the liquid is burning. What is the voltage, actual resistance, and flavor you are vaping? What you describe above would be low resistance, maybe sub-ohm and a flavor with higher sugar content might burn. I had to take one of my flavors and drop the voltage when using a low ohm (1.2) coil in a Russian 91. It was burning at around 4v which I typically use, had to take it down to around 3.5 to keep it from burning.

Thanks for the other fruit suggestions! What's sad is I probably have 30 different flavors of Ahlusion here, which I haven't even gotten to try yet, and I'm already thinking about additional flavors I want to order! I need to vape more!!! LOL
I miss the "what's new" from the previous Allusion site. I am about to order and I like to see what the last few flavors were. I know most the others and I like to try new ones every order....
