I don't usually frankenjuice, but I was in an altered stae the other day and had an idea.

Smooth Criminal: 50%
Peach Criminal: 15%
Tarte Tatin Peach: 35%

That's basically the ratio. The SC is 50%, but the PC and TTP maybe +/-5%

Holy.Crap! This is a very good mix. I mixed it 2 or 3 days ago and it's better (quite a bit so,actually).

If you have the ingredients mix a little batch. Let me know if I'm crazy. To me, it's so good that I'm thinking about suggesting it as new menu item. But I want at least one more Ahlusionite's opinion.

Well, funny you mention this as I've seriously wondered if Peachy Criminal was a mixture of Smooth Criminal and Tarte Tartin Peach, mainly because the peach in PC plays differently from the one used in other tobaccos -- it's spicy, how I'd imagine a peach dessert would be.

Point well taken. I think in my concern that we might lose this awesome thread, I was thinking we would have Plan B in our back pocket. Didn't mean to overstep any bounds in my enthusiasm! LOL

The idea of overstepping is just plain silly! Contingency plans are always a good idea particularly since it wasn't initially clear that the Ahlusion thread wasn't going to be an ECF target for no longer being welcome in the e-liquid forum.

I'm curious about this one too..is it minty or something else?

Don't make book on it but I seem to recall someone saying in the old Ahlusion thread that the St Patty's Shamrock tasted similar to McDonald's Shamrock Shake. That said, I find it impossible to get my head wrapped around the notion that Wlad would make anything that would taste similar to McDonald's fare.

Well, Ahlusion's shipping is still on point. I ordered Tuesday night after business hours, order was made and shipped Wednesday then received today. Of course the mothership is only about 5 hours from here.

Guess I will see how their shipping fares going west soon enough. Just found out today my next job is in the California Bay Area which means I have to hit the road Monday. On the road again, how I hate I-80, on the road again.

Thanks for the inspiration. When SC was a youngster it was yummy. Then it grew up after 2 or 3 months and has to much bacco (it "turned") for my buds so your post interest me because I'm going to fix it one way or the other. /lol

How old was your SC?
Is their any subtle bacco taste left?

I'm not sure if I have the juices you used but I will check and report back.

The SC is ~1.5-2 months and is kicking. Even when diluted by the other flavors.

Should I maybe order some 50/50 and some 70PG to choose my own preference or is it going to be a waste of liquids (the 50/50 ones)?

I'm thinking about those liquids, but not sure if I'll get everything on my first order
Coconut Dream, Orient Whisper, Papaya Lassi, Coco-Berry Cream and Lemon Cream (all at 12mg nic, 50/50 ratio)

Unless you have a PG sensitivity start out with following Wlad's advice and order the 70PG. Then reorder a couple of flavors that you particularly like in 50/50 so you can compare to find out what works best for you.

Flavors are brighter with higher PG and more muted with higher VG. Clearomizers mute flavor so the double muting effect is why Wlad suggested the higher PG. Higher VG juices produce more vapor, less throat hit and have a different texture, mouthfeel than juices with less VG. Also, a very small percentage of people get a "heavy lung" feeling from higher VG juices.

It wouldn't hurt to try both and make your own call, but I have done just that, and I also say he's right. As a glasso user, 70/30 gives more flavor.
Of course it's nice to have some 50/50 around for dripping too.

I watched the Zen video where it takes him a CNC lathe and a grinding wheel to even make a dent in the coating he uses. I think my Ahlusion juices would look pretty good sitting on top of this. Decisions, decisions...

Definitely start with 70PG/30VG. I use carto tanks and EVODs so I get all my juices in 70PG. I've tried them in 50/50 and it not only mutes the flavor but some of the flavors in the juice will disappear completely. You'll probably find a couple of flavors that you prefer in 50/50. Raspberry Cream is one that I think would benefit from a bit higher VG. Sweet Surrender is much smoother in 50/50 and doesn't require as long of a steep for me to like it best. But I have trouble with VG so I stick with 70PG and have a few in 90PG that I use in evods.

You should pick up a 510 atomizer so that you can drip each flavor. It helps to be able to tell when your juice is steeped to your taste before filling a clearo or tank. It will also let you taste all of the flavors and see the difference in flavor between dripping and your preferred device. It will help you decide what PG/VG ratio you want to use to get the most out of your juice in your device. Does that make sense? LOL.

Every time I order I have to...choose. Its almost painful. I have to check my current inventory to see what types I need. Am I low on Nets? Smooth Criminal or Shipwrecked? Or do I need lighter flavors like Lime or Lemon Cream? Maybe some BVC?

THen I have to browse to see what I might want to grab since I haven't had it in awhile. Maybe I should finally try some Rune. Oh, wait, whats that new flavor? Ahlusion Moca, hummm...maybe I should try that instead of the BVC? Now that I think of it I should try the custom Lemon Vanilla Cake I hear about. Then there are the standards for the Mrs., Peaches and Cream is a must have for her.

So I finally figure it all out and POOFF, the cart got emptied some time back and I don't remember what all I had in there.

Dang it. I hate this.

new kid, you're completely right! I built myself a nice order and the day after the cart got emptied by itself! they're really need to tweak their system, not just cookie-wise, but saving the cart on the user's account is a must IMO!

The old site had the auto-emptying cart as well. However, we could make multiple wish lists. I had one for new flavors I wanted to try, one for any juice on my reorder list and another for a list of what I planned to order next.

Does anyone know if it would be practical to have multiple wish lists on the new site?

wow multiple wish lists...now there is a thought... you could have one for things that are re-orders and one for things you want to try someday..another for things on next order...interesting
