OFF TOPIC: I have give a shout out to Jerms for recommending in another thread the Atomic rda. I succesfully built my first dual coil at 1.1 ohms and this dripper handles it like a champ. It's also one of those smaller chamber drippers, so I kind of knew I'd dig it. And so far it has been tough to overdrip. I'm just loving it.

Also, I may have to abstain from advising people of juices to try. I am currently experiencing the opposite of vapor's tongue -- vapor's peak. :p

Vaper's tongue is so freaking bizarre.

So I went the afternoon not vaping..did a bunch of stuff around the house. Not like I don't usually go several hours during the day at a time without vaping so that was nothing new. Finally sat down to play a lil WoW and chill. Ate a dish of queso (really hot) and had a rum and coke. Vaping my strawberry sunset as mentioned because it's all I can taste.

Then with no warning..I can taste the fruit in it. No gradual come back, just bam. I can taste again.

I TRIED hot stuff to cure this. Maybe it has to be actual peppers? Maybe it was just a coincidence?

All I know is it's OVER and that papaya lassie sample I got is some damned fine stuff :)

If I wasn't so old I'd jump up and click my heels :D

Ok great. Then last but not least what is an aromatic?

The aromatics are Ahlusion's blends that use various types of tobaccos, be it Virginia, Burley, Latakia, or Perique. They are more pipe-like than the non-aromatics. The focus is much more on the tobaccos, as opposed to the non-aromatics, which focus more on a blend of fruits and flavorings with a blend of tobaccos, mainly cavendish.

Re-visited papaya lassi today, after 10 days steeping. Another love! There are so many that I like/love from A+; it's shocking after only having a few flavors for a long time.

Ahlusion was moving when I was in the process of first starting to try flavors so I had to wait quite a long time to place my first order. Out of my first 154 juices ordered elsewhere I only really loved two and would only consider ordering six others. It was a scary time.

Now it's wonderful to be able to relax and order willy nilly from Ahlusion knowing I will get something fabulous. Even the very few juices that I don't love are masterfully mixed and delight my daughter and sister when I PIF my least favorites.

I guess I just find tobacco vapes icky. I've tried CWW and it smelled great in the bottle, I'd love to get just the caramel part of it, but in the end it tasted like an ashtray smells to me. Shipwreck wasn't as bad, very light on the tobacco side but I just couldn't get into it. I started out smoking Camels in my teens (lights then wides and occasionally nonfilters) but switched to menthols within a couple years. Newports, Salem's and Benson & Hedges for the next 18 years after that. The rare cigar with bourbon or cognac (Zoë likes her bourbon). Maybe I'm just one of the people who will never like the tobacco vapes.

Tobacco juices generally don't work at all well for me. Sweet Virginia seems to be something altogether different from anything else I've tried. For me it is the taste of a naturally sweet tobacco with some sort of magic that mimics smoking without any of the nastiness. I think a small bottle would be worth trying for anyone who is interested in finding a tobacco flavor but hasn't had much luck with them in the past.

OK great. I think I got it. The non aromatics is where I am going to start. (aside from the Shipwreck that is on the way)Thanks so much!

That was a scary time for me too. All that money spent buying things others said were grand and I was getting nothing. AHL Strawberry Banana Cream changed everything for me and I felt like someone threw me a life raft

Glad to hear the tastebuds are back! Although not too glad because I'm jealous you're getting to play an MMO :p until I get a new rig I'm stuck with Clash of Clans on my iPad only. I traded in WoW for Star Wars the Old Republic quite some time ago but did get in on the Elder Scrolls beta. Have some friends in the Wildstar beta as well. I could live without a tv as long as I have a computer.

Vagabond..we need to be friends:) I am cancelling cable this fall. The only reason it is still hanging in there is because the new season of Game of Thrones starts one week from tomorrow (SQUEE!) and the Outlander series is set to start this summer. I've read those books since I was pregnant with my oldest..who is now 21. If you haven't read that series..you should really check them out. Diana Gabaldon..Outlander is the first book.

I've played WoW for (blush) 7 years now. I'm excited to try Wildstar though. I hear there are some talents coming over from Blizzard and that makes me anxious to try it. I tried to play SWtOR but it would just not jive with my computer no matter what I tried. I have a decent gaming rig too. They did something foolish with it and a lot of folks were having the same trouble I was. 80+ fps on WoW..8 on SWoTR. Tried a ton of things, nothing worked, worst waste of 60 bucks ever. Are you excited for WoD? I sure am! Too bad it's so far off!

And hey..I'm a nurse too :) Asst DNO for a physical rehab, and wound care. Nothing like smacking the crap out of 15 year olds in PvP when you have had a rough day hehe

WoW is bad! Only nerds and stuff play it! So, I guess I will take my goblin and go to bed now.

Wow Is not a game you play. It's a totally virtual world that you go to. Where things are black and white and it's easy to be rich. It's a hobby. Goblins rock :D

Nerds rock too ..I am 43, a career professional, and I have two very nice, somewhat spendy, prints in my office. They're an art deco version of Dalaran and Undercity. If you don't play WoW, you totally won't know what they're about and think they're just really pretty :D

At my age, I have made total peace with my inner nerd, and could give a flying EFF if anyone else thinks I'm weird. It's VERY liberating!

154 flavors?? OMG! I found a few I liked about 4 months into vaping, and just stuck with those for 6 months. I PIF to my sister and BIL when I get one I can't stand.. But I haven't given her any A+ yet..:) well except for an occasional tank of 'you gotta try this!'

Ahlusion qualifies their two distinct line of tobaccos:
F.a.q: What is an aromatic blend? Generally (not necessarily in the vaping world), aromatic tobacco blends are those which give off a distinct, complex and more robust aroma and room note, like in various moist pipe blends. This is mainly due to added flavoring.

When it comes to our natural aromatic blends (in our Premium line), we've captured those specific flavors and aromas derived (mainly) from our Burleys, Virginias, Perique and Latakia blends.

Non-aromatic blends can be in anything from cigarettes, to pipes; traditionally non-aromatic blends can consist of any blend of tobaccos, but they usually lack that distinct aroma and flavor; most of the focus is on the pure natural flavors of the tobaccos used. For our non-aromatic blends we use milder Cavendish blends which are a bit sweeter and balanced with complementary flavors.

If you've only smoked cigarettes, it's almost impossible to convey the experience or difference of aromatic blends.

There are nine juices listed in aromatics

Shipwreck is a non aromatic

I'm 39 and a consummate nerd. From Jolt cola fueled all night D&D sessions in my teens to the occasional alcohol enhanced MMO marathons of today. I played Everquest back in the day for a couple years then WoW from when it came out up through Cataclysm (8ish years or so). My Australian friends got me to switch to SWTOR because they found a nice LGBT guild to join. We've had forays into The Secret World, Tera, FFXIV, Guild Wars 2, etc. The Elder Scrolls beta wasn't bad but I found the game somewhat tedious. Wildstar looks good though, Blizzard programmer misfits, humor... Pardon my ignorance but what is WoD?

Unfortunately I've been out of the loop since my computer met an unfortunate end in my car accident two months ago. I built that PC myself but I think I'm going back to an iMac. One of the best things I ever heard was from an ER doc I worked with as he was playing Elder Scrolls on his laptop one night: "I kill people on my computer so I don't have to in real life."

I'm happy just being an ER staff nurse for now. I'm not management material, some would say I have no filter, I call it being honest. Love the Art Deco too! There's a gallery in San Francisco with a bunch of Erte's art near Fisherman's Wharf. I love his stuff.

At the risk of losing my nerd card I have to say I haven't read/seen any Game of Thrones. I've been on a H.P. Lovecraft kick lately as well as digital comic books. Although my reading agenda this month will be the BLS and PALS recert manuals.

Anyway.... don't you hate it when you make an Ahlusion order then remember "I should've gotten that one too, and maybe that one..."

You mean, like EVERY time?!?

(put in an order Friday night... Meant to order some pina colada, and maybe some BVC, oh, and also meant to tell them not to send me any more dropper-caps until further notice...)

Wanted to bookmark Sweet Virginia and could only find it in the Express Line. Is that what you are talking about?

Yes, it isn't on the regular menu yet. I've tried the aromatics and they are too hard for me. I'm a sissy. :) I liked Shipwreck but I prefer my tropical fruits without tobacco. I was so amazed to find that CWW rocks!

It must've been the WoW that did it...LOL. glad to hear you've got your taste back! I haven't played in a year. My husband and mom (77) still play every day. I plan on getting back to it. Being able to have my own town is what I'm looking forward to.

This describes it perfectly! I want my son to try it and see what he says. So far I haven't been able to get him to stick to vaping. He says it makes him crave a cigarette. :(

Glad to hear the tastebuds are back! Although not too glad because I'm jealous you're getting to play an MMO until I get a new rig I'm stuck with Clash of Clans on my iPad only. I'm playing Clash of Clans and Dungeon Keeper on my iPad. I love Dungeon Keeper but I wish they had an option to just buy it so it played the same as 1 and 2 on the computer.

A triple win in our last Ahlusion order - Royal Tease looked tasty so I got a 10ml sample. Fresh out of the mail all three vapers in the house declared it "delicious" and we can hardly wait to see how it develops over time. My next order will definitely include a big bottle. :)

On a side note, the feedback discount emails are working at this point (some folks mentioned that there had been issues) - I got one yesterday.
