I could see Desperado fitting the bill when it comes to straight tobacco vapes. There's no fluff in that one. I find it neither mild nor strong, to me it is somewhat unassuming. I vape @ 6mg, 70/30 pg/vg and it has adequate throat hit for me, of course if not you could just change one of the variables in your set up. Bear in mind I haven't tried the Sahara or American Blends.
I am definitely going to let them sit.

My first taste of Maple Wild Wood this evening. About 4 weeks old? OMG!! I thought Maple Dream was good! I love A+ maple. A very pleasant flavor. Not syrupy sweet like some I have tried, just a smooth maple flavor. I see a big bottle of this one in my future....
OMG! I received my last vapemail from Ahlusion. Got Caramel & Peach Wild Wood and also Jungle Juice with a sample of Boba Tea. I tried the CWW right off the bat without steeping which I liked very much. I just brought out the PWW after about a week of steeping and HOLY CRAP! This stuff is the bee's knees! I can see myself grabbing a 60ml later on. The JJ is still steeping as I know I like that one since it was the sample in a previous order.

I've had the Maple Burley, very good stuff after about a month. The maple was a great complement, strong enough to not get overwhelmed, but not sickeningly sweet either.
Have no idea where it's at now but some pages back there is more detail on this process and it is quite involved. When that feedback email comes make sure to respond with detailed information on what equipment you are vaping with and your impressions on the flavors you tried.
Strawberry Snap has a lot more flavor than shortcake to me. I think it's the lime that brings it out. But I'm also not into cakes so that makes a difference to me. Strawberry Snap is just really awesome. So is Citrus Bliss. I went on a lime kick. I love Ahlusion lime. None of them are tart. I did buy a bottle of Citrus Bliss unsweetened and then got one sweetened. It was too much sweetened but I started adding a dropper of the sweetened one to each tank so now I like it slightly sweetened. I've got to get it profiled so I don't have to keep buying it both ways. Strawberry Snap I get unsweetened.
If I did that I would miss my flavors at their best. Fresh Pineapple Cream and now fresh Lemon Cream. They stay sealed and bubble wrapped. I'm considering a wine cooler so I can keep them colder. I love that very first tank of fresh flavor! There is nothing I would rather vape.
My Ahlusion Mocha is now in the Aspire Nautilus. I had trouble with it only killing the carto after one tank. It works perfectly in the Nautilus and I'm been able to enjoy it again. I've filled the tank 4 or 5 times and the coil is still working great. I was still vaping the Pineapple Cream from its carto tank and the Nautilus was being ignored. I should've thought of the Mocha in the first place.
You should try Sweet Virginia. It really reminded me of a cigarette. The aromatics are more like smoking a pipe. I vape 6 mg 70PG and found the Sweet Virginia to be really nice. You may want to go up to 12mg to give it more kick. I would stay with 70PG which is probably what the Xpress is made in. I'm sure others will have suggestions, too. I'm not much for tobacco flavors but I really wish Sweet Virginia had been available when I first started vaping.
Looking for some advice on any fruit or dessert flavors that are "in your face" strong from Ahlusion.
So far it's just Bananas Foster foob.
I am letting these others sit but here is what I am finding:
I also got the Chai Latte which has an overwhelming clove taste and the other flavors are totally muted.
Apple Tarte Tatin which has little to no apple flavor right now.
Maple Dreams which just tastes like sugar. Not getting any Maple at all.
Lastly Mango Colada which was my free sample. It's creamy and really tastes like a fresh mango. I can tell know I will really like this once it steeps.
Any recommendations would be welcome.

The Chai needs about 4 weeks steeping for the spices to settle in. Dessert flavors need 2 to 4 weeks for the flavors to blend. What ratio did you order? If you have high VG they will take a lot longer to steep and have less flavor. Also, did you get any of them sweetened and how do you vape?

All are super flavorful and don't require any added flavor. I get them all at 70 PG. I just listed what I vape and love to give you an idea of what I found to be very flavorful. I use carto tanks and EVODs. So if you're dripping or using an RBA they'll have even more flavor.

I filled a tank with Poppin' Peach and Strawberry Sunset. Both are ok. Just not for me. I've tried Raspberry and Strawberry Sunset and neither one were a favorite. Just a taste thing. And I've come to think that I don't like peach vapes. I prefer more complex fruit mixes were I can't figure out the flavor and it needs coconut. Then again I may change my mind by the time I vape the tank. It has happened before!

I got them all sweetened. The first order was 70vg/30 all 0 nicotine. I just ordered again at 50/50, that has just been better for me flavor wise.
I vape a kayfun lite, .8-1.2 micro coils with organic cotton. My mods are an Atmizoo Roller and a Magneto.
Can't wait for my 60 ml bottle of Bananas Foster to here. Nursing what's left of my 10 ml bottle lol.

Home from a business trip today. Tasting my flavors from a past order (thus the fist taste of MWW; have several more to enjoy over the next few days). My coffee order was in the mail! Cafe au Lait, Caramel Coffee (sweetened was not sure but giving it a try sweetened), French Roast and a sample of Papaya Lassi. Although I will drip a little to taste I have so many others to check out they will have plenty of time to steep. Hoping for Mother's Day sale for a Colada order. And I am curious to try Bananas Foster. I have so much A+ juice I am in heaven. All other vendors juices just sit there.... Oh my Caramel Pear Black Tea is going into a tank tomorrow. Good thing these Evod style clearos are cheap from FT! Each flavor has its own re-wicked with cotton

Huge fan of Caramel Wildwood, not so much the Peach but it's still steeping.
I think have have a thing with peach. It just does not come through good for me. I was hoping Ahlusion was going to be the breakthrough for peach flavor. I still do not taste it properly. This is the same as with other vendors' peach so it must be my tastebuds. Funny how it comes through beautiful for some and I can't get it to taste good for me.
The maples come through beautiful for me though, better than even the caramel. How funny tastebuds are.

LOL, I have a thing about ordering flavors in groups. I ordered a bunch of maple vapes, a bunch of peach vapes, and coffee vapes. I think next will be banana.

I think your Maple Dream is going to need a long steep. You might want to try another sample in 50/50, unsweetened. If you can't wait. It really is an amazing flavor but I'm afraid the sweetener is covering the maple. Give it about 6 weeks to steep and the cream will come out and hopefully some of the maple will start to shine through, too. I've had one flavor, Raspberry Cream, sweetened, that was super sweet and I couldn't stand it but after 2 months it settled down and was amazing! I'm sure you're going to to be able to vape it and like it but it's going to take time before it is ready. With the higher VG it may take 3-4 months. Just don't give up on it. I just finished a bottle of Chocolate Cream that was over a year old and it was the best flavor I've ever vaped. I really wish the website did a better job of explaining the sweetener option. Every flavor will taste the way it should. For example the Cherry Cola. Do you put extra sugar in a can of Cola? That's the best way I've come up with to describe it. Most flavors don't need sweetened. The old website only allowed us the option of adding sweetener to about 6 flavors so we didn't have to think about it. I do like the chocolates sweetened and the coffees. I can't stand sweetener in the black teas. I never thought I would like a black tea vape and I absolutely adore every one of them. They are wonderful. The Berries in Berry Shangri-La is delicious and I love the Pomegranate Black Tea not to mention the Caramel Pear Black Tea. You must try Caramel Pear Black Tea. It is a work of art and shows what Ahlusion does.
I just looked and my Piña Colada is sweetened. I like sweet but 2/3 of my favorites are unsweetened. Most get every sample unsweetened and stay that way. Some get everything sweetened since they started with Ahlusion when the option was available. Everyone has different tastes. You just have to find what works for you. Once you get to know the flavors you'll know which ones you want sweet or sweeter.

I do that, too. Be sure to get Fijian Nights if you haven't tried it yet! Everyone has been talking about Bananas Foster lately. I've got to try that one.
