Ahlusion E-juice

My Piña Colada arrived yesterday. Aroma is indistinguishable to me from months old Pineapple USD Cake. Will there be too much pineapple in Piña Colada? Will be trying it soon...

Nope. I think there is more Mango in the Mango Colada than Pineapple in the Piña Colada. It IS delicious. I love all things pineapple, coconut, or pomegranate from Ahlusion.

Ok guys/girls, here's what I'm dealing with. I ordered the following from Ahlusion: 1 bottle of Contrary Cherry 70PG/30VG 18mg, 1 bottle Lemon Cream 70PG/30VG 18mg, and a bottle of Peachy Criminal as my sample (70PG/30VG 18mg). The juice was manufactured on April 15. Tied them all out of the mail, and hated the Contrary Cherry and Peachy Criminal. Tolerated the Lemon Cream, but did not like it. All of them are so harsh and rough! Almost like there is perfume in them or something. There is some kind of flavor/spice/etc. that is common to all 3 flavors, and it reminds me of a bad burning incense.

Let them all steep for a while and tried the Lemon Cream again this weekend (since I figured that's the one I liked the most, so I have the best chance with it). Same old story. Scorched rubber. Cheap perfume. Bad insence.

I really want to like this stuff. Is it normal for certain people to have an aversion to Ahlusion? Like I said, there's just something in the liquid (in all 3 of them) that doesn't seem to belong. Something not right.

Any suggestions/soultions are welcome.

The only thing I can think of is how long have you been vaping? I read what you've been vaping and I know MBV uses commercial flavors which are much different than natural flavoring. Another thing is that the nicotine level may be stronger from Ahlusion and a higher quality. Everything Ahlusion does is by machine, regulated and tested. They also use mostly all natural flavoring which is completely different from what you have been vaping. You might not be ready for it yet. It takes a while for your taste buds to come back after smoking. That's why extra strong flavors are good for when you first start vaping. Or it could just be that Ahlusion isn't for you. It's ok. It happens! If it doesn't work out I'm sure you'll find lots of good advice of where to go from here. There are lots of options available and one of them will be the right one for you.

Contray Cherry is a flavor that I never tasted anything in my tanks. I did finally get to taste the Cherry by dripping it. It really is delicious. I get everything in 70PG and use carto tanks and a few EVODs. The Criminals depending on your taste may require a long steep. I use 6 mg myself. The taste that is common to each flavor is probably the nicotine. Not every vendor can tell you exactly how much nicotine is in your juice. Ahlusion can and does. You could get a bottle of 70VG Lemon Cream in 6mg and mix it with your existing bottle. You'd end up with 50/50 12mg.

If you're looking to try a tobacco I would recommend Caramel Wild Wood. It is amazing! I vape it straight out of the mail and in an EVOD plus a carto tank. It is one of the most popular. I just saw you're reply about Wlad's response. I do think dropping the nicotine will really help. But I would ask for advice on flavors. Some of the milder flavors aren't going to do to well in a ProTank especially at 50/50. Lemon or Lime Cream would be perfect. They are full of flavor. I have trouble with VG and use 90PG in EVODs and it is perfectly smooth. So I'm hopeful it is the nicotine. Maybe buy one sample in 6mg to see if it works for you?

Do you have your feedback coupon? You should be able to stack it with the sale they will probably have going on this weekend. Trade or sell the other bottles. If you keep them give them a try in about 4 months and they will be much better then. (But trade them if you can)

I've never ordered from the before, but thinking about it. In their options, there's a "sweetener" option. Is this like an extra flavor shot or something? Would you guys suggest getting the sweetener in general? I also find it kind of strange that the 10ml is extremely expensive while the 30ml is really reasonable. Anyone find that odd? Not sure why anyone would order the 10ml.

It's more expensive since it costs more to make a small bottle. I always buy a 10ml to try a new flavor. It's also there because with every order that is over $20 of qualifying juice you get to choose one free 10ml sample. So I stock up on a 60ml bottle and get to try a new flavor for free. Can't beat that. Plus there's the feedback coupon on top of it. And I almost forgot the free shipping if you spend enough (which I always do ).

Oh, it's not a flavor shot. It's extra sweetener but Wlad does increase the sweetness by adjusting the ingredients instead of adding artificial sweetener. Like using a sweeter lime or a sweeter raspberry, etc. But I'm sure there are times when sweetener is added. I don't want to say that it is never added. It's good for chocolates and coffees. Great in Pineapple Cream and Piña Colada. I've ruined a few juices with it! LOL. Vanilla Black Tea for one. Wasn't thinking and selected sweetener.

Hey guys. After letting them steep for couple of weeks I finally got to sample a couple of the coffee flavors I received with my last order. First off was sweetened Cafe Au Lait, which I liked a lot. The coffee flavor in it is definitely lighter than the one found in Caramel Coffee and Kona Kick, which is a plus for me. I enjoyed its creaminess, but will probably ask for a bit more coffee next time I order it. This one's probably my favorite coffee vape so far.

Next was sweetened Light French Roast. Expecting a stronger flavor than CaL, I was surprised at how light it was. It took me a while to really appreciate its flavor, which I found to have a nice aromatic aftertaste. If I ever re-order this one, it would have to be with some sort of flavor bump. PS- Eleanor, do you have a specific way you order yours?

I also sampled Sleighride with extra mint, and concluded I prefer it without it. Just the way it is, it tastes almost exactly like a candy cane. With the extra mint added, it reminds me more of an Altoid. Not bad, but I prefer the candy cane version.

PS- I got some sweetened Chocolate Cream as well, which I'll try out soon.

My recollection completely agrees with yours but I think Wlad has softened his position about ECF. After Ahlusion completed their major equipment upgrades I specifically asked Wlad about posting Ahlusion recommendations on ECF. He said that it would be perfectly fine to do so.

In the few posts I do make about Ahlusion outside this thread I try to avoid chumming the waters with the type of hyperbole that seemingly attracts people whose main interest is being on the latest, greatest social media flogged juice bandwagon. It seems unlikely that people who are primarily chasing social identity rather than top quality e-liquids would make a good fit with Ahlusion.

No, I order it strictly "off the menu." I'm surprised you find the flavor light (although it certainly is NOT a robusto or espresso blend); I wonder if getting it sweetened contributed to that? Or perhaps your VG ratio?

I get mine in 70PG, no sweetener, and still find that there is a pleasant edge of sweetness to it. You might try it that way next time!

The last time I spoke directly with Wlad, when he mentioned in passing about "when y'all chatter too much about us on ECF, I get in all sorts of trouble" (I think he was semi-kidding about the "trouble" part), was several months ago; probably before the Giant Upgrade.

NOT many vendors have chosen this route and those that have do not cover the issue in great deal. Spent the afternoon with Raspberry Cream. Another winner! Although my fave creams are still Lime, Lemon and Pineapple (in no particular order), both Coco Berry and Raspberry are right up there. I think I like the Coco Berry Cream better than Strawberry Vanilla Cake, but then again that depends on my mood and tastes of the day. Peaches and Cream was my first sample and I finished the bottle, not an immediate "must have!!" reorder. NOT that it is not good, quite the contrary, I just think Peach is not my "thing" right now with all the other "are my THING!!!" right now flavors. I see myself reordering at some point down the road. Kinda like the WWs. I LOVE!!! CWW, VWW and MWW, Peach WW is wonderful but not a "gotta have this on hand all the time" flavor. Haven't tried the Apple or Cherry, although I probably will eventually just to round out my sampling of A+ WW flavors.

CPBT is interesting. I have never had a flavor like this. I think it needs more steeping, but it is going to really hit the spot for certain times/moods. One I will keep around for those times I just want something different.

Dripping some Pear Tarte Tatin which is new to me tonight..man, this pear is so good, I want to go eat one now. Rummaging around in my box of little steeped bottles earlier I came across a three or four week old Orient Whisper, last time I tried it I vaped the whole bottle right away and I thought it was delightful but with some age it's really delicious. When I was a kid we went to a chinese restaurant that served little bowls of lychees in syrup with the dessert course and OW reminds me so much of that sweet fruity syrup. As a person who can't eat fruit irl after serious surgical stuff I'm so glad to have found Ahlusion.

Hmm, I'm on the fence with Caramel Pear Black Tea and your tastes. I think it can go wrong easily for you. Ever read of that celery taste a number of people in this thread reported? That is what worries me.

On the other hand, I think it's a great juice. If you've tried and at least liked an Ahlusion tea, chances are high that you will enjoy CPBT immensely. I know you dig the caramels, so that's a positive.

I've not had the Mocha and Cherry Cola, but I've surmised that CC is pretty good, but seems to be a reverse steeper of sorts. The fizzyness declines with time. I haven't heard much about Mocha and I don't particularly reach for chocolate vapes.

Mango Lassi I have and love. It starts like a mango slushee and with time the spices and cream present themselves to create a great summer (or wishing for summer, lol) vape.

If you go with the Chai Latte, it may serve you well to request extra cream in it. It seems to be an accurate Chai tea with cream, but many like it with extra cream. I don't have much experience with real life Chai lattes, but I'm good with this juice the way it is.

Cherry Cola reminds me of those gummy cola candies. Got mine sweetened at 90% VG. The fizzy exhale puts a smile on my face every time. I really like it. It and Sasparilla have some similar notes.

I find the cherry cola to be really pleasant (fresh..I've never bought it in a large bottle and never had it more than a month so dunno about the effects of time). It tastes like..cherry cola. =) And Mango Lassi is just supreme. As usual Ahlusion's fruit is real and the lassi is a great representation of the yogurt drink; gentle, lightly tangy, mildly creamy. I'd like a big glass of it irl, and then the next day I'd want a glass of the papaya. Yum.

Oh geez. I guess you can sign me up for the Lime Cream Camp. I finally caved a few weeks ago and asked for a sample of it- I'm not a big citrus fan and I managed to go a year and a half without either of the L Creams but you know, limes can be nice sometimes in summer so whatever, a sample, right..oh it's so good, I just filled up the Sophia with it. It seems my tank has a leak! I'm *not* ever buying lemon, cause I just don't like lemon so. Lime ....

Just over 2 weeks. I haven't given it away yet. I'll try it again in a month or so. I think caramel may fall with coconut for me, good as food but not as a vape.

I'm with May on the Lassi's. Won't ever be without one of those.

Having trouble with my current favorite, Maple Dream (50/50 12mg). Got a bad 60ml bottle recently: zero flavor- bad mix, and they kindly sent me a new bottle. At 2 weeks this stuff is usually da bomb, but nope. In a fresh kayfun build it's mildly pleasant, but the flavor just isn't there. These last two batches were mixed by "new" people. It used to be Wlad, Ali or one other. I'm wondering if something has changed with their recipe. I'll give it a little more time, but it's disappointing....
