Idaho, PM sent. I have been dieing to try this KGD cotton but I have so much P&C and organic cotton balls I hesitate to order even more cotton. But if it works as well as everyone raves, oh well, more cotton!

Thank you for the generous offer!

Yeah, me too. I think I will have to try some since one of my friends found out his wife had some already. It would be nice to not have to fiddle with all that dadgum cotton from balls though. Even if it's just as good as regular cotton, the convenience of use would be welcome.

Placed my weekly. Going to try some in 10ml that I have not tried before. Got Pink Label, Maple Dream, Van Mango and Son of a Peach

Maple dreams is in my Ahlusion top ten. I let my past bad experiences with maple in waffle vapes and things like Aunt Jemima Syrup keep me from considering it for way too long, it's so good!

A few pages back someone asked what else they could due to fight the FDA. The following video titled " 53 Year Smoker, Now vaping - Jeannie Cox" is adorable, on topic, factual, and a must watch.

In this video Jeannie mentions her non vaping husband and the fact that his sinuses are better which brings me to a point where I try and think outside the box and to a certain degree "break" with many folks.

IMHO, comments to the FDA and eventually Congress should also come from non vapers who are directly and positevly impacted by a SO and or friend who vapes and how this has affected them in a positive fashion. Good grief, some of us have kids, gparents, spouses, friends, etc who do not vape but yet have seen the great and positives changes in all of us.

PLEASE consider this avenue of activism.

Question: I just placed an order and in adding my order to my database I realized that I may have not entered the correct VG/PG ratio. I assumed that the default VG/PG ratios on their order screen was what they were recommending. Sometimes the default is 50/50, sometimes it's 70/30, etc.

Here are some examples:
1. Lemon Cream: Default = 70VG - 30PG Description = Select your desired strength, PG/VG level. We recommend an even VG to PG ratio for best flavor and vapor production.

2. Lime Cream: Default = 90VG - 10PG Description = Select your desired strength, PG/VG level. We recommend an even VG to PG ratio.

3. Hazelnut Chocolate: Default = 90VG - 10PG Description = Select your desired strength, PG/VG level. We recommend an even VG to PG ratio.

So my questions are:
1. Why does the default change from one item to another? Does it mean anything?
2. Can I change my order?

I'm all about the flavor. I don't need huge plumes of vapor.

I'm sympathetic. On my first Ahlusion order I mistakenly ordered some juices in 90% VG. I had only been vaping about a month at the time, so it didn't occur to me that I could order the same juices in 90% PG and mix them -- or maybe it did occur to me, but seemed expensive. I was trying all kinds of juice at that point, and I wasn't sure this was going to be better than anything else.

It wasn't either! If you think their flavors are subtle, try 90% VG! Some of that juice hadn't steeped six months later. Thank god I tried them again before waiting for those.

My experience with maple is the same as May's. The sugary, sweet stuff turned me off. One order I got a 5 ml Xpress bottle to try. Long story short, it is so good I tried the Maple WW. Have more of both on the way :) no syrup, a real mapley sweetness not an overwhelming sugary sweetness.

pardon the typos, on my phone :)

On a somewhat related note, i recently heard that nJoy is going to come out with eight new flavors, and their first personal vaporizer.

It made me think about the conversation here a couple of weeks ago, about the proposed FDA regulations and it's impact on smaller size companies, and Ahlusion in particular.

For a company like nJoy which has been very active in it's fight against flavors and accusing smaller liquid vendors of catering to teens, to make such an abrupt turnabout, is fascinating. Do they know something, the rest of us don't ? I hear that the growth of cig-a-like companies has stopped, and their sales have plateaued, and the growth is really on our side of the market. For a company that has invested tens of millions of dollars in the their business, to make an overnight turnabout, is encouraging imo.

I am not sure how this will impact companies, like Ahlusion tbh. I do believe that the cards are stacked against them in the long run, and within 15-20 years, the industry will be consolidated into three or four big players, and a company like nJoy which likely has the most advanced e-liquid manufacturing process in the industry, and millions of dollars available to peddle influence, and buy lobbyists is better positioned to survive. But, the fact that they are moving into flavors and pv's is a good sign in general.

I don't believe the threat to smaller companies like Ahlusion is immediate, but within three to five years, all of the smaller operations will either have to be absorbed by larger companies, cease operation, or move into the black market imo.

The question becomes, what are Ahlusions plans ?

Hey Idaho, I agree. I put the KGD in the spheroid and KFL on Friday and it is great! No break-in time weird flavor as I get with the P&C yarn (boiled several times), and it wicks flawlessly. :)
Oh isn't it nice? Easy to just snip and go. Less is better on any build and isn't the wicking AWESOME?

Idaho, PM sent. I have been dieing to try this KGD cotton but I have so much P&C and organic cotton balls I hesitate to order even more cotton. But if it works as well as everyone raves, oh well, more cotton!

And Responded! I will send you enough for quite a bit! Remember to split the square in 2 big squares and cut your wick along the grain. This is such a clean non treated cotton. You will see a few black pieces tht look like pepper, these are just pieces of cotton seed. They are not worth removing. :)

Yeah, me too. I think I will have to try some since one of my friends found out his wife had some already. It would be nice to not have to fiddle with all that dadgum cotton from balls though. Even if it's just as good as regular cotton, the convenience of use would be welcome.
More than happy to send many pads for your dancing and dining pleasure if you would like.

I was wondering about that? How long it would take for say a 100% VG to steep..Good gawd mo! Not for me yCherry!

I want to "get" shipwreck, as a tropical-tobacco sounds good, but still not working for me.

It didn't really work for me either until a long time afterward. I initially mixed most of mine with a bit of Caramel Wild Wood and that was a great combo, but I left a small amount of Shipwreck in a bottle untouched. I came back to the untouched Shipwreck several months later and I found it to be really enjoyable. At first there was something, some note about it that didn't gel right/tasted off-key within the mix, but after sometime (once it got really dark and after several months) it tasted really rounded and harmonious.

I'd gotten away from the aros for quite a while, mainly cos I usually dripped them, or had them in a small gennie, the mini DiD, and it can be a pain to clear them completely for other, less intense, juices. Anyway, I had a Short DiD laying around, which is a full size gennie, so I loaded it up with Maple Burley. It's the first time I've tried an aro in a big gennie with an 18350 behind it. I know they're not for everyone, but wow.. that is some amazing rich tobacco. The maple is still hanging in there as a nice sweet accent, even though it's more than 6 months old. Really glad I have plenty of the aros ready to vape: Vurley and Sweet Georgia Peach, to name a couple. Think I'll keep them in the daily lineup from now on.
