I haven't tried the one you mentioned but ahlusion tobaccos are hardcore. I bet it tastes exactly like you dropped your marlboro your a cup of coffee, let it sit in a hot car for a week, and then smoked it. The ones that I have tried tasted just like the month old cigarette butts I used to fish out of the ashtray when I was hard up. Like, ashes and all its amazing.

I got the ash note on many of the ahlusion non-aromatics fresh out of the bottle, but that goes away with steeping - for me - just leaving the cap and tip off for a week. JG, House blend, smooth criminal were the first to lose it. Vecchio, Deal Maker took a bit longer, gold rising longer yet. But it DOES leave and the non-aromatic tobacco on those ejuices is not a strong tobacco like their aromatics.

The coffee note on the JG blend is a fairly good coffee as well. As I've said on other threads, I'd like to see that coffee by itself, but JG blend is one of my favorites. House blend as far as tobacco only taste is a real sleeper - the longer I vaped it the more I liked it. It is not strong, which is an attribute of good ADVs, imo.

Haven't tried the MOV... sorry....

Well its true I didn't let them sit in a dark cabinet for two months before trying them.. so its probably MY fault that they sucked...

Sharon, not my intent. I set them out on a table trying a few drops every day and after a week, JG, House, Smooth Criminal came around. Another week several others and a few never made it - gold rising for me.

And if something takes two months, then too bad for that vendor... ;)

In fact, you can see from my posts that I'm coming around on your liqua coffee, but it took about 5 days of steeping to do so. I'm liking it now and liking the cappuccino even more. :thumb:

I'm sorry.. Just blowing off steam because I feel duped. Ahlusion gets so much attention and praise, and quite frankly I do not understand why.

I ordered from them with such high hopes, and they fell so short. They are not cheap, they are not easily accessible, and they are slow. Even my order from fasttech got here a day ahead of them. Now, If it would've been GOOD STUFF, all would be forgiven. But it wasn't. So the experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Literally.

So.. forgive me for being so forthright, but that is my honest opinion. I can only hope to spare someone else the disappointment, or at the very least to think twice before going all in, like I did. I'm not saying its the worst stuff in the world but its definitely not like "OMG VAPE HEAVEN"! And that's what I was expecting due to all the hype.

So as a disclaimer.. you can and should take me, and all reviews/opinions with a grain of salt. I've been accused before of being both a maverick and insatiable. So maybe it really is "just me". But I'm not a fan of ahlusion. Just saying.

I am looking for a good coffee tobacco juice, and I am debating between Ahlusions JG Blend & Mountain Oak Vapors Sunday Morning.

Has anyone tried both of these juices? Can anyone recommend one over the other?

Or is there any other good coffee tobacco juices out there that I aught to consider?

I've had both, and they are both great juices. The better coffee-bacco to me was though was JG Blend (dark roast), hands down the best coffee vape I've had. One issue I've had with coffee-baccos was I really notice the coffee first, then it fades. Sunday Morning did that, which was dissappointing because the coffee notes that one had are so good. JG Blend was the first I've had that the coffee notes didn't fade. I think that's a personal issue, since I don't hear of others reporting the same thing.

Either one I think you'll find tasty. Sunday Morning was more coffee and cream, and JG Blend was more black coffee. The tobacco part is delicious with both, but I also give JG Blend the edge on that, along with better overall flavor to me.

I understand. Up until recently, I've avoided the ejuice forums, mainly for the reasons you mention - I've been vaping the same stuff from decadent Vapours for three years. I heard about allusion - the JG blend mainly because of my avatar and from someone whose judgment I highly value, so I thought I'd give it a try along with some others. I vaped them for a while then sent out the whole bunch for others to sample. It was a nice 'variety' experiment and I learned something more about steeping, something my DV flavors don't need, so picked up a few pointers along the way. I'm about to return to the 'no ejuice thread' status so.... nice meeting you ;)

Sharon, have you tried either of the flavors the OP asked about or are you just posting in this thread to bash ahlusion? You want to blow off steam, fine, but do it in an appropriate thread and don't derail this one.

Umm, exactly. :?:

What he said. JGBlend dark roast, unsweetend; steep for 10-14 days, then shake and vape! :)

Well that's funny coming from a guy who ALSO hasn't tried it as per post #2 which I am unable to quote for some odd reason. Conspiracy!

Whatever.... Just wanted to let the op know that any and all tobaccos I've tried from ahl, both aromatic and non, have tasted like pure nasty ashtray to ME. So unless the base is sooo drastically different I think its a safe bet that it would also taste like nasty ashtray. Sorry but I'm entitled to an opinion too I've had enough from ahlusion to make a call.

But if you guys like it GREAT. No accounting for peoples tastes. You should join me at a wine tasting once its a blast.

Yeah, if you find Ahlusion's other tobaccos ashy you'd probably feel the same about JG Blend. All of Ahl's tobaccos are NETs, and extracted tobaccos do indeed taste ashy to a lot of people. When I first tried Blue Grass Burley, it was by far the strongest NET I've tried, and ashy would have been one of the words that came to mind when it first kicked me in the face. I happened to be very intrigued though, and have gotten used to and really enjoy strong tobaccos.

There. Case in point.

No, but I have tried Sunday Morning and I gave my opinion on it. I'm genuinely interested in tobacco/coffee flavors and didn't want to see this thread turn into an argument over whether or not Ahlusion is a quality vendor that deserves a lot of the praise they receive. I was just saying there are better places in this massive forum to voice your complaints.
