Ok..how about some good old fashioned ambrosia...

AMBROSIA SALAD

2 cans pineapple chunks, drained
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
2 jars maraschino cherries, drained
1 can coconut flakes
1/2 bag mini marshmallows
4 oz. sour cream
16 oz. Cool Whip

Walnuts and pecans are optional (but I would vape them).

Or cranberry relish...the Canyon Sun would be close to this..but throw in some pineappe and pecans. :)

hey guys, quick atty question.

i just got my first couple of attys yesterday. im using 2ohm smok tech on an ego spinner at about 4.2 volts. I decided to try atomizers out since everyone says they give the best vape/flavor, yet I tend to get a lot of muted hits flavor wise. Right now I'm dripping Sweet Surrender 12mg at 70pg/30vg.

I'm only doing about 3 drops at a time so i dont feel like im overdoing it. i also tried some fluxomizers a couple weeks ago (essentially a clearomizer) and didn't have a lot of luck with the flavors there either. Is my taste just jacked up from vaping too much?

As often as I find it happening to me, and Tez is right, it's a dehydration issue, that is most likely. With an atty though, it's a fine line between too wet and too dry. What works for me if I'm gurgling AND not getting a lot of flavor, is just take the atty off, blow through the threaded end into a paper towl REALLY hard, and start over. They like to be fairly wet, but the downside is burned juice can then reside in the atty muting and fouling flavor and vaping it out is kinda nasty, so say hello to waste and blow it out real good then depending on the capacity of your atty (cheapies like 2 to 3 drops, long barrel quality attys can hold 5-6 no prob) re-drip your juice in, give it 10-15 seconds to saturate the mesh, and start over. When I started dripping, I thought it was easy until I encountered these problems. The beauty of an atty though, is it will give you hundreds of "second chances".

If you were a Yankees fan, I'd just tell you to up the voltage.

Naw, no giving up the wacky backy! But, I am celebrating diversity these days.

I asked Wlad if he was familiar with Blue Moon ice cream since it is originally a Michigan Thing. He responded with, "Haha, we actually make the base flavoring for that for some local ice-cream shops..."

So, I am telling you guys, think it, and if it is possible, the man can do it. He said it would take some work to get BM (maybe not the best acronym ), but it would be awesome. I actually had the idea a few months ago and I remember saying that I had heard of...hold on, let me find it...

here we go (from early July):
Blue Moon ice cream! It's a midwest thing (mostly upper midwest), but oh my god is it good! It is a bit of a conundrum, and no one really knows how to describe it. I think it is a pineapple/vanilla/marhmallow/rum/cake batter/blue kind of taste?

Taken from Wikipedia: "A number of different sources on the internet claim to know what flavor Blue Moon is. Since these sources disagree with each other, it is unclear which, if any, are correct. Suggested flavors for Blue Moon include: fruit, Fruit Loops, orange, pineapple, lemon, cherry, raspberry, cantaloupe, honeydew, peach, licorice, pistachio, coconut, almond, burnt almond, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cardamom, buttercream, custard, chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, bubble gum, Blue Curaçao, Crème de cacao, Amaretto, cake frosting, cotton candy, cola, and various combinations of these flavors.

You see what the consensus is?! hahaha I think since Ahlusion is a MIchigan vendor, maybe they could do it right? That would be awesome! Next time anyone is around these parts, you have got to try some Blue Moon! Who knows, maybe one day we could vape it?!

scoop-bluemoon.png

Lo and behold, Wlad is one of the mad scientists behind this marvelous flavor at some ice cream parlors. I am not down with food coloring, and I know Wlad isn't, but maybe...maybe not.

It is interesting to think about a time when I had this mysterious vendor on the brain. It was shortly after that when I tried them, and now I wonder what in the blazes I was vaping.

thanks for the advice! i did blow out my atomizer earlier and i can't say i noticed a huge difference...maybe im expecting too much. i just figured id get a ton of flavor and a lingering aftertaste of said flavor

I ordered Caramel Pear Black tea, Cranberry Autumn, Orange Creamsicle, Smooth Criminal( 30 ml) and a Melon-Berry Frost Sampler. I only started steeping Caramal Pear, and Melon-Berry and theyre about 10 hours in. The sampler seemed to smell way better after a work shift but the Caramel Pear barely changed. im really thinkin bigger bottle may take 48 hrs minimum.. but any ideas if the sampler should take less time? I was hoping id find someone that had preferably already steeped these two flavors and tell me what to expect lol

Thanks, but I was Air Force. I never earned that noble salutation of those brave and honorable warriors.

Who am I kidding about buttbussing? Dealing daily with powerful and affluent customers has gotten me a PhD in buttbussing.

As someone who is currently working toward one, I can tell you with certainty that all PhDs are essentially PhDs in buttbussing!

My favorite Ahlusion juice by far is Boba Tea (plain). Anyone know if they have a caramel option to add? If so, you might want to give that a try as the Boba Tea base is to die for and come back as a Zombie.

Totally with you on the Boba Tea (plain)! If they don't have caramel as an option, I bet you could ask Wlad for it.

You seem like a solid dude (not like Mann or Tex - something wrong there).

Couldn't agree more.

In vaping news, I received an order of Vecchio Blend, House Blend, Chocolate Cream (thank you Cinnamonkey!), and Boba Tea (honeydew). The tobaccos clearly need some steep time, but I can already tell that Boba honeydew and Chocolate Cream are going to be juuuuuuust right!

When you say sampler, what exactly do you mean? Unless you are talking about the Xpress line, the bottles were all made on cue, not waiting around to be ordered. All steep times should roughly be the same, although I find smaller bottles steep quicker. I also think plastic small bottles are even better than glass -- I think it is about air.

p.s. If at first (meaning after the first 48 hrs) it isn't good, wait a week, and so on. Be in it for the long haul.

Since they're in Michigan and all, what about Vernor's ginger ale flavored juice? Peppery would be a good thing in that case. Also, I know it's not an extended pinky flavor but I would love an intense blue raspberry ala Dairy Queen Mr Misty. Bonus points if it turns your tongue blue.

Man, you are speaking my language! Man, I love to see people's reaction upon drinking Vernors!

I did a 48 hour cap-off then 3-4 day cap on steep of a 30 ml bottle of Carmel Pear Black Tea which brought it not only to vapable, but to OMG MOUTHSPLOSION OF HAPPINESS. I know it's only going to get better as it ages!

I'm personally becoming disillusioned (disahlusioned?) with the mythical qualities of an atty. I've had some tremendous hits from them, but their inconsistency is becoming the bane of my vape experience. I personally find the first half tank of a Vivi to be more reliable but then they go to hell on me. I've taken the plunge and am awaiting a Caravela and high end RBA and if that doesn't solve it, I'm going back to Volts with their little Nanomizers. I tried putting Ahlusions Tiramisu in a regular blank volt cartridge, and it stripped so much character it just tasted like chocolate coffee. I don't know the answer, I can only tell you the road I've traveled and which potholes you might avoid.

So I don't post half as much as many of you but I'm Josh. Been on and off ecf since almost the beginning but I mostly pop in, make a smartass comment or two, and then wander off. I've probably posted more on this thread than I have on all other threads combined though.
