So we have 4 juices that people are positive have cinnamon in them, while Wlad says there's only one. Cinnagate!

No cinnagate! There is just one, and it ain't in a tobacco. Heck, I think after all of this talk there may not even be one anymore. Wlad is not the type to play with semantics or jive people. People will always taste what they will, but conjecture can make things veer far from reality.

Alright, I've got my dunce cap ready too. I taste some kind of baking spice in Strawberry Shortcake that I was calling cinnamon-ish, but I really have no idea what it is (especially now that I know it's probably NOT cinnamon).
I've always enjoyed seeing people taste things they are familiar with blindfolded and not be able to properly identify what they are tasting. Really fascinating stuff. e-liquids, especially complex ones like Ahlusion's, seem to be semi-blindfolded taste tests. For example, the coconut some people taste in Pink Label. I asked Wlad about this one (since I hate coconut) and it is not in Pink Label. The brain is a mysterious machine!

Seriously? That's crazy, I would have sworn there was coconut in it.

Oh well, no more guessing for me! :D

There is no coconut in Pink Label? SERIOUSLY? That is the main flavor note I get!
Me too. And when I clean my Mini Nova tanks under hot hot water, the smell of coconut is VERY prevalent. I'm shocked, I tell you.

I wonder what that is we're interpreting as coconut.

Most of the time when people taste cinnamon in cooking, it is paired with many other flavors that compliment, contrast, or bring out the notes that make a hybrid flavor. What then can happen is the accompanying parts get lumped in with the flavor altogether. Think about it, how many times does anyone eat straight-up cinnamon, aside from making stupid youtube videos? Even if you were to eat straight up cinnamon, it doesn't truly register as taste. The whole experience, discounting cinnamaldehyde and eugenol used as extracts/concentrates, is a retronasal olfaction experience.

There was recent NOVA Science Now special called, "Can I Eat That" which explains and explores the "mysterious machine" and how it interacts with this beffudling everyday experience as it pertains to flavor, cooking, smell, food, etc. Please, watch the entire episode here: NOVA | Can I Eat That?

At times I've read the milky cream base in Boba and Chocolate Cream as being a little coconutty, but more so before it's steeped. I wonder if that could be it?

I have found Boba to have a coconut flavor to it as well, however it is radically different to me than the coconut I am interpreting in Pink Label. I am getting a sample of Choc Cream in my next order and will be interested to see how it goes.

Possibly. Pink Label seems to have that same milky aftertaste (yum!) as Boba Tea, so I had interpreted it in Pink Label as "coconut milk." But it could just be a milk or cream component.

Oddly, I never got anything coconutty from Boba Tea (I've never tried it plain, though) but I thought it would go really well with it, so I've been really excited to try Boba with an added coconut flavor note.

Btw I'm home from work today because I threw my back out, and I'm stuck in this chair and loopy on painkillers. So that's my blanket excuse for anything silly I might happen to say. ^.^

That sucks. Sorry to hear. :(

At list you have an excuse for the silliness though. ;)

I consider the silliness to be a bonus around here. Hope you feel better, though.

Lord have mercy! What have I started!?! Sounds like we all need a tongue-scraper!

It's all in good fun! Ahlusion's flavors are so complex compared to other vendors, and this is the closest I've ever gotten to being a connoisseur of anything besides maybe good craft beers on occasion. If we were talking about the typical vendor, the thread would go like this:

Dude said:
OMG. I tried Strawberry Juice and it tastes JUST like strawberries!

Dudette said:
I totally get strawberry in Strawberry Juice as well!

Dude said:
Wow you too? How on earth do they make this Strawberry Juice taste like strawberries? I thought I was the only one, Dudette!

Now that is the fun in knowing the in-and-outs of quoting! Brilliant, AX!
