Maybe that's where the name came from. You wrack your brains trying to guess what's in it, and eventually you just give up and enjoy it... but oh what sweet surrender!

(I haven't tried it yet, you guys are making me VERY ANXIOUS for my latest order to arrive!)

I wouldn't bet against you loving it. I don't even understand why, it just has something really compelling about it. It's like candy, without being candied.

Oh, I LOVE TEA! The big question is what kind of tea have you been exposed to. If you have had the best of the best (premium loose leaf) and didn't dig it, then I wouldn't order it, but if you have merely dabbled in generic tea, then you may very well like these.

Protip: A lot of people don't like tea because they over-steep it, use boiling water (and even put the water in first), squeeze the bags, etc. If you really want to get the most out of tea, take the leaves out of the cup (as to how long of a steep, that should be easy to find out, but generally delicate teas are about 2-3 minutes); if it's a finer tea, don't use boiling water; pour the hot water directly over the leaves; finally, don't use too much water! Most teas have very specific steep times and the temperature of the water should be just right. Over steeped tea will be very bitter and chalky.

I must say that I have not been exposed to much tea. Earl Grey, Lipton - yuck!! I never went any further!

Ok - Sweet Surrender. I'll start by saying I hated it at first. It was my least favorite of all of Ahlusion (of course still better than most of the other dreck in the drawer lol). It tasted like mush to me. Sweet muddied mush. Like a big old melted ice cream sundae that melted and then sat in that in that weird spot between the couch and wall for more days than you want to admit. Then everyone kept on with the "oh sweet surrender it's so pretty". So I tried it again. And of course I liked it. it's sweet. Creamy. Fruity but not aggressively so. My favorite is that little hit of acid at the end. Could be citrus but I'm leaning more towards pineapple. The other fruit? I think I could be easily convinced it was peach. Or mango. Or apricot. Or maybe even some pear but my memory says it was more tropical. I did get a little coconut but not much and I could just as easily assert it was hazelnut. How's that for a non-answer?

I found out a little something tonight about just how special of a vendor we support (as if we needed anymore evidence.) I am going to wait to ask him if I can talk about it, but it is just based on how involved his process is in bringing us what we want and none of the stuff that we wouldn't want -- though many would never know they were getting what they didn't want. Did that make any sense?

I really like that he cares about what we're ingesting. Personally, That's all that I need to know. Anything else is just icing. Sweet, sweet icing.

Why do you persist on teasing us?! All of this innuendo and shadowy cloaked tidbits. I didn't even care what gender my own sister was expecting, but I was on the edge of my seat to find out if you were going to be a Dad, or a Daddy. Effective, intriguing, beguiling, maddening.. I wish you wouldn't stop that!

Curiosity is a strong temptation, but I really freak out about my name showing up on a users page if I look. It makes me feel like a creeper, so I rarely ever look at profiles. Besides, it's fun to develop my own mental image of folks and not be swayed by reality.

Ooooh...I didn't realize it showed that! I better stop stalking all you guys!! j/k!!

I love guessing what everyone looks like....especially since I tend to chat with most of you more than anyone else on any given day....its like my own group of real imaginary friends!! LOL

And Biz....I think you are on to Sweet Surrender...and that, it definitely is!!

Oh Laura, you've essentially said, "vaping? Oh, I've tried it, but I can't get into Blu - yuck!" Trust me, it is just about the same distance between real quality tea and Lipton, as it is between Blu flavors and Ahlusion. Maybe you should try Cranberry Autumn (though I've never had that one -- I just didn't want to type CPBT again. LOL)

Lisa...I am LOVING this non-answer answer....and I think you are probably pretty close. I get the tropical aspect every so often....so pineapple had crossed my mind at some point....so did banana, but that hasn't come back much since. I can definitely see the pineapple and peach/mango/apricot possibility. Really nice juice.

I'm trying to find a way to say this without sounding like a pretentious tool. Please forgive me if I fail ;) CPBT and CA are so different. They're definitely both what I would consider adult flavors but where CPBT is deep and rich and mysterious and yes, sexy - CA is sharp and bright and austere. It has a herbaciousness to it - junipery almost - like a really good gin. Also sweet:not sweet. I don't think liking one guarantees you'd even want to be in the same room with the other. In other words I would be very hesitant to recommend it (CA) to someone unless I was very familiar with their palate.

Good and bad news updates.
The bad: I loved the cpbt when I got it. I put it away to for a few days and something went horribly horribly wrong with it. It went from delicious to completely bitter. I'm taking complete blame even though I don't know what I did to it. I'm trying to figure out what condition or contamination could have happened to cause the change but I'm at a loss. I thought that it was some bad steeping voodoo that wasn't agreeing with me but but I've tried it a handful of times and had friends try it that had tasted it before it went sour...we're all in agreement that something must have gotten in the bottle at some point. It no longer even resembles what it once was.
The good: I had a bottle of Pomegranite Black Tea that has sat untouched for 6 weeks, other than my initial tasting, because I've been rotating through my A+ fruits. It was great when I got it and is now UNBELIEVABLE! 6 weeks has made a fantastic juice into the best vaping experience ever. If you have some, or if you get some, do yourself a favor and have somebody hide the bottle. Its going on reorder in a bigger bottle asap and I'm thinking of having the Mrs take it out of my weak willpowered arms reach with explicit instructions to not tell me where it is until New Years.

Good post. Yeah, I've never had it, but I figured it is probably still a good "tea" reference. I know the oolong in Ginger Orange OOlong was one of the most precise replicas of a flavor, let alone a complex flavor, that I have had. You really just sold me on CA, BTW. Great post, and no, it wasn't pretentious, it was informative and beautiful.

LOL - How'd you know those were the colors I was considering? I'm on the tinier hand side of the spectrum....so thought about the mini

OH....and I'm not sure I've been lookin so hot with my current set ups...(minus my awesome drip tips), but a pink or purple Provari might certainly help me get there! lol

Ya know...that is crazy to see! With as many videos as I have watched with Provari's in people's hands, I've never really had any true perspective. That is CRAZY! I envisioned a much larger device!

OK....I REEEEAAAAAALLLY want one now!!!

I bought a mini Provari after just about one month of vaping - I love it - it's not much heavier than an eGo Twist - here's an old pic from back in April - but just for comparison of the mini and eGo type batts (I think I now have an eGo Twist in about every color they sell!! - too bad the colored ProVari's came out after I bought the one pictured here):

Holy crap! You're like the Robert Parker of ejuice! That is an exQUISITELY descriptive description. Very nice Lisa, I'll remind myself to not bother trying to read between your lines. They're clearly demarcated.

Oh, and to drop yet another mental lintball, I met my first Provari today. The plant operator I mentioned in a much earlier post, who let me know vaping was OK by pulling one out and hitting it right in the control room, causing my jaw to hit the floor, showed me his new Provari today. IT'S TINY! AND, it was the full size! Pictures are SO deceiving! I mean, it's long like the battery of my 1100 twist, but not much wider! I was stunned. I thought they were much bigger. When I toyed with the idea of purchasing one, I was kind of drawn to the mini because I thought they looked so big. I have GIANT meathooks. I have to buy XXL golf gloves, or they rip on the first outing. I'd buy XXXL if they made them. That thing disappeared in my hands! Did I mention I was stunned? Very nice looking and solid feeling device. I thought the readout was the size of a billboard, but everything is much smaller than I imagined.

Yeah, it seems that every time I see a mod in person for the first time, I'm shocked at how small it is! Doesn't matter what it is -- it's always smaller than I imagined. My conclusion is that video reviewers are all teeny tiny people.

My only beef with the Provari (aside from not being VW :D) is I think the Mini is a much more aesthetically appealing device than the full size (not that it's bad looking) in my opinion, but the Mini's button placement is a little awkward because it's so small, and if I'm going to get a tube mod, it's pretty much gonna be 18650 for me or nothing.

Purple is my favorite color EVER!

Fact: All girls love purple, ponies, and cheesecake.
