Hey guys, I just stumbled upon Ahlusion, as I saw them mentioned several times in the "best 2012 juice" thread.

Two thing....one, I'd like some recommendations, pls. I like moderately sweet tobacco flavors. Too much strong tobacco is too much, and likewise, too much sweet is often time too much. I've vaping Bobas Bountry and several from NiteLiteVapor now such as Bounty Hunter, Renegade and Line Rider. Any Ahlusion juices I should try?

And second, is it just me, or are the prices high at Ahlusion? $9 for 10ml, am I reading that right? I'm about a 4ml a day vaper and that might equate pretty close to a pack of analogs a day cost wise. Are these juices worth the increased cost over some other vendors?

If you really look at the details....they are a very reasonably priced vendor, especially taking the quality and over the top customer service into account. If you spend $20...you can request a free "sample" of your choice....but note, that sample is a 10ML BOTTLE!! So its basically another bottle for free. As you buy larger quantities, the price per ml obviously decreases. And there's more! After every order...they send you a request for feedback email...usually about a week or so later so you have had a chance to actually try the juices after they have had some steep time. In that email...they include a 15% off coupon for your next order. They do this with EVERY order you place....and you can still get the free sample if you spend $20. So now...you are getting a free 10mls of juice, plus 15% off your entire order. And wait....there is more AGAIN! After you have placed a series of orders, your prices automatically drop on the site. I think its once you spend somewhere around maybe $150 or so total with them...but I'm not sure that number has been actually confirmed. And again...the sample policy, and the 15% coupons continue after that.

So to me....its very reasonable. We aren't talking ECBlends prices....I personally have never ordered there....but the quality of these juices is unmatched IMO. And I think I have tried some of the higher quality vendors out there....and still nothing compares to these guys.

So all in all...I think its a pretty amazing deal.

Thanks Tralfaz, I'll try that on the next order. I opened the shipping box at 12:21 today, and I already had them steeping by 12:21:03. I'm still picking shrink wrap off my shirt. Pssst. Don't tell Eleanor, but I dripped a little Grape Vine right outta the gate. Based on obviously flawed, initial data, this juice isn't "grape flavored". Not grape flavored like KoolAid, or grape this or grape that as we know that sweet, pedestrian flavor. This juice tastes like vine picked GRAPES, of the purplest kind. Amazing to taste a flavor expecting what we've come to know as interpreted by the food industry, and instead taste the actual taste of that named item. What a friggin CONCEPT!

One of the more bizarre phenomena of the modern age is how major producers of consumables have managed to convince us that a loose interpretation of a flavor is somehow more authentic than the flavor it is based on. A McDonald's hamburger is the way beef is "supposed to taste," and from what I understand, the meat is blanched and then artificial flavor and coloring added to it. For some reason, it seems like fruits have been hit the hardest by this attempt to modify our perception. I wonder if it's because it's harder to preserve the flavor and experience of fresh fruit? I actually saw someone say that a piece of fresh fruit tasted weird. I think it was my own little sis. At either rate, I'm glad that Wlad and Alley can see through the fog and are among the few vendors that are basing their liquids off of natural flavors rather than the caricatures most people are accustomed to and have come to expect.

Just had a really stressful week and tried a cigarette for the first time in almost 5 months... Ugh, why did I ever like these things? The remaining 19 are being donated to my stepdad since he still smokes XD.

They suck? See, that's odd considering you have your taste back. I'd thought the full flavor hitting your naked palate would've been even worse than "ugh." I, too, have had one recently and that one only amounted to a couple puffs followed by an immediate rinse and repeat.

Sitting here unpacking my latest Ahlusion order, and wondering, Am I the only one who hurriedly rips off the bubblewrap, curses at the static electric cap wrapper that won't let go and fall in the garbage can, shakes like a maniac then gets that cap off ASAP so they can start the two week steep AS SOON AS POSSIBLE?! Absurd. Like the extra 20 seconds is going to really matter....

Edit: You know, even before opening the bottle, I've decided what I really like best about the Blue Grass Burley.... yeah... you BGB and NET lovers know where I'm going... "No steeping required". YES!

I'm right there with you & everyone else on the speedy gonzalez unwrapping of the bottles. In one of my frantic bottle openings..I did find a pretty good trick though! On the 10mls..if you just twist the top, that plastic wrap rips at their dotted lines and make it way easier to open. I learned this through impatience...I said "forget it..the plastic can stay, I'm just getting that cap off so steeping can being ASAP!" And sure enough...doing that cause the plastic to come off anyway! It's probably the only time doing something without patience and in frantic mode actually worked for the better. Ah Ahlusion...even doing things the "wrong" way with these guys ends up being a positive experience!

Oh man, the worst part about the last one I had was trying to get the taste off my tongue and the smell off my hands. I still have 17 in a zip lock in my trunk. I was planning to toss them but honestly, I think so little about cigs these days that I keep forgetting they are there.
