OK. First impressions of my 10ml bottles pre-steeped straight from the mbox. All are 50PG/50VG except for SC which is 70PG/30VG. I used a cheap bridgeless 2ohm atty at 3.4v on a twist. Nothing fancy.
Spiced Pumpkin Latte - Really good coffee flavor. Kona-ish. Not too sweet but not bitter. I don't detect the spice much yet in this one and I'm not sure if there's supposed to be a pumpkin flavor as well but I don't get that either. Steeping needed fer shur.
Serious Cider - This is going to be real good after a steeping. Spices are not very detectable yet. I get apple, but it's unique. Not apple fruit, not apple juice, per se, but oddly enough this tastes like an apple tea and it's really yummy. After steeping, that will probably distinguish it as a cider rather than another apple variant but it's too early to tell.
CPBT - I get mostly the caramel and a hint of both the black tea and the pear. I think this might need the longest steep time for the caramel to go farther into the background. That said, the flavors are spot on and when it's ready I think this will be a favorite.
SVC - From what I can tell this doesn't need much steeping. The flavors are well balanced and well developed. Totally authentic strawberry, vanilla creme, and pound cake. Sweet but not too. It's going to be hard not to vape this up before I get another biggle but I have other juices to keep me going for a couple of weeks. If this gets much better with time I'll be very impressed.
Grape Vine - This one proves to me that A+ knows how to do fruit flavors. I've tried dozens of fruit flavors and almost all of them left a lot to be desired. Now Grape Vine is going to need a healthy steeping but what I get is GRAPE. I can't detect the variety of grape. It's definitely not Concord (like Welch's Grape Juice). It's not white grapes. It's not too sweet and not candy-like. It's more like Corinth grapes (also called Champagne grapes) which are the tiny dark grapes you find in bunches. Impressed. My view on fruit flavors is widening.
Smooth Criminal - This is some really yummy tobacco vape. I have a pretty well developed pallet but the flavors here are illusive. There's a spice there which I can't figure out. Perhaps it's a quality of the tobacco. There's a fruit which I can't figure out. That could be the tobacco too. Is that caramel? Is that tea? I cleaned my atty. What is this stuff? There's something going on in this that reminds me of CPBT with tobacco but I'm not sure about it. One thing I am sure about is that it's really good. REALLY REALLY good. I have a feeling that this one is going to change frequently with every steeping week. Look out!
That's it. Keep in mind there's been no steeping yet. All are caps off now and napping in the cupboard. I would say that my first impressions will have me ordering 60ml bottles of SVC, CPBT, & SC. Plus 30ml bottles of Serious Cider and Grape Vine. I'll wait to see how the Pumpkin Spice Latte steeps before I re-order that one. Coffees can do weird things after steeping so only time can tell. Superb results. Out of six juices ordered blind, three stand out as amazing, and two are just great, one is good. How many vendors do you know where you can average that kind of success?
