Did anyone notice that Desperado got the boot? It's no longer on the menu. I got a 10ml in my order yesterday... Wonder if I'll still get it.. ?

Wow. Nick, can you remember what the description was for that? It's been so long I forgot

ETA Bolo de Banana is gone too! It appears I have some rarities in my collection LOL.

Good morning friends of the Ahlusion page. I hope all are well and happy on this chilly and cloudy Wednesday morning. :)

My order from Friday will be home today when I get off work. It's very exciting as not only will my SVC be safely re stashed up, but there are some new flavors for me to contemplate, try, and hopefully fall in love with. I woke up this morning with my BVC and coffee morning ritual ready to go...it was my moment of quiet in a world full of thunder. Funny thing about BVC, I will gladly vape this fresh out of the bubbly wrap (gotta smash ALL the little bubbles with evil glee), and enjoy the vanilla cake that stands out at the forefront with its blueberries twisting and slithering alongside and throughout the cake sweetly and tartly. I make no apologies about steep deprivation on this juice. It's fantastic for what I want first thing in the morning. I notice, though, as time passes and the contents of the bottle that are allowed steeping.. how much more blueberry gets to make a delightful domination of the cake and then the cake battles it's way back for alpha status becoming richer and deeper...both flavors making my morning coffee just a little something more than "please God, let the caffeine take effect quickly...I'm still sleepy". I am definitely more impressed each day that I can make the bottle last.

SleighRide makes a nice accompaniment to hot tea...Twinings much? Absolutely...Earl Grey and Breakfast Teas do enjoy a nice SleighRide.

Pink Label still remains a constant companion for me during the day. I would be lost without it's...Ok, I still don't know what the heck all is in this juice..but it's fruity and it's beautiful. I am not going to pick it apart because more than likely I would be wrong. Sometimes I get melon...sometimes I get berries, sometimes I get a brief moment of sweet fruity cream. I don't know if I am ever going to get 30mls to actually steep beyond a week at this point. I like it too much as is when I first crack it open.

So many juices from Ahlusion to love..and new ones to try..and just not enough hours in the day to get to each and every one.

Scarf!! :) So happy to see your bounty has arrived!!! You have sooooome patience, darlin'!! The description for Desperado was pretty vague, as it is with the other "rogue character" non-aromatics. Something to the effect of: this one has a sweet undertone that gets better with age. That was it. I haven't heard much about it around here, so I'm assuming no one is too concerned about its termination. I'm just hoping its not a 'can't live without it' kinda juice... that is, if I even get it in this order.

By the way, Mo... I'm not too impressed with Peachy Criminal or BVC right away either. The standout of my recent order is Pink Label! I'm with Cinna, it's great unsteeped.

Still have JG Blend, Maple House Blend (another maple freak here) and Spiced Pumpkin Latte to try.

From my memory and recent posts, PC is simply a peahy version of SC. So it stands to reason that it will take just as long to mature. Hey, at least you're not getting any XXXXXXXX from it. LOL

DAMN YOU, TEZ!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha! I had it in my grasp but opted for Deal Maker...wait a minute, didn't you get Desperado, Tez? Uh oh, I hope WE don't like it too much. ;)

I've been hearing this a lot lately... Just ask MarcK73! Yep, Desperado should be in my mailbox today, if not tomorrow. You do realize that if I try it and love it, this is going to put me in a serious ethical bind, right?

Happy Days! A+ Black Friday order has just arrived!!!

Re-ordered BVC but now at 6 mg of nic (let's see how that goes, first time going low) Also - this juice NEEDS proper steep time in my book. I cheated when I first got it and vaped after day 2....it is 10 times the juice after 30 days.

Re-ordered SVC - which I originally screwed up and ordered at zero nic. Which Wlad had to fix at the last second (you are the man)

New flavors for me to try

Smooth Criminal - I have moved away from Tobacco flavored juices. The last lone I bought was NLV Gold(3 months ago). You guys are just too damn convincing. Looking forward to this one.

Milk Chocolate cream - Wlad put a note to be extra patient steeping this one.

Sleigh Ride - again not a menthol/ mint guy.....same principle as Smooth Criminal

Boba tea - see above

Carmel Coffee - still looking for that perfect coffee vape - fingers crossed

Cafe Au Lait - same

Pineapple cream and Sleighride just for kicks.

Time to hide these in the back of the steeping cabinet and pretend that they don't exist for about a month. Seems to be the perfect A+ steep time for me. Will report back.

Good Morning. It sure is chilly here! Hasn't been above 5 degrees all week and it has been below zero at night.

I didn't care for Pink Label at first. Still didn't like it after 2 weeks. Tried it again and 6 weeks out it is delicious! The flavors have melded and come together perfectly. I'm going to have to buy this one but be careful with it since the lowest VG it is available in is 50. But it is so worth it. The SVC is the same. It is ok right now. But I know that there will come a point where it will be perfect to me.

That's what is so special about Ahlusion. The flavor changes are just amazing. I have yet to find a juice that isn't good and if you give it time it will at some point become fantastic. I think to make a long story short if you find that a flavor isn't for you at the start then put it away because it will mature and there is a good chance it will turn into a flavor you love.

Have a good Wednesday...I'm going to take a good nap :)

Have no fear (I am talking to myself), the W-man has eased my mind. That's all I will (can) say.

Oh, the XXXXXXXX is there! Don't get it twisted!

BUT, it's not XXXXXXXX, of course. I've come to realize what I think is going on with this juice. Lemme pull up your Chase Journal real quick....

The Smooth Criminal Chase Journal: I think I may be understanding why some people are tasting XXXXXXXX in this. That is not to say that I taste it, but I do have a theory. The other day I mentioned how some flavors can get lumped together even when one of those flavors is missing, and I think I may be on to something. While I have been vaping this juice, I turned the lights off and left the bottle by me uncapped. I stopped vaping it and just allowed the aroma to be in the air (this juice kicks out the aroma). What I was reminded of a few times was the mall kiosks that sell the candied almonds. Most of us know what one of those ingredients is, but upon further inspection of the bottle, that note isn't there as much as the roasted candied almond. Also, sitting in silence with the juice, I am positive (not really) that there is some form of vanilla in it, but not the very-vanilla-bean vanilla of Vecchio. For now, I am thinking: candied almond (maybe roasted) with vanilla (maybe the "candied note) and cavendish tobacco. More later... (Mann)

It would be fun for others to add directly to this post so we can keep it going without having to find it. Maybe we can start to gain some type of consensus?

Nail on the head right there. A sort-of *candied* toasted almond. That is what I get from this juice. But there's another component that, to me, gives off a sort-of powdery/dusted sensation. A sensation that I believe a lot of SC fans perceive as "smoky". I think I may even recall you mentioning a "sincere smoky quality" in a previous journal entry as well. So that dustiness, combined with a slight sweetness, plus a tad of peppery-ness (from the nic?) was where the XXXXXXX came into play. But I will be clear: this is/was never a cinnamaldehyde slash atomic red hots sensation to me. It was more of a powdered XXXXXXX sensation. But, as the juice steeped, and I got to know it better, I realized my mistakes, and repented for my cinns. :nun: :D I've really begun to love this juice. This week, my sixth since quitting, has brought with it a few nice revelations in regards to long-term steeping.
