Vivi at 2.8 is weird. I run them at 4.0 volts. It is the only thing JDS I cannot use on my Kick.
Ditto. I have had zero issues with vivi's...except with the kick. Almost any wattage makes them taste burnt running the kick.

Cotton on the vivis rocks. I use cotton yarn.

I use bamboo wicks. Works great and gives killer taste.

I saw you are using the AGA Tiamat earlier (I think). Are you using mesh on it?

Correctamundo, I have a couple. Funny you should mention, as I just finished wrapping a new coil for one. It's currently my BGB fog machine. I'm using a fat #500 SS mesh wick and 30ga kanthal on it. After I said sayonara to the last of my BVC, I re-purposed the other one for Boba's. They are pretty solid and hard to beat at around thirty bucks. For another ten, you can get glass tubes for them from IBTanked. I drilled the holes on the caps out to 1/16" and if I close my eyes, I can't tell the difference between the AGA-T and my Zen.

Nice! I found one for $23 + 10% discount just now and pulled the trigger with some #500 SS mesh wick and 32ga kanthal in the cart as well. I'm sure I'll be bugging you and everyone else when I fail miserably at rebuilding. ;)

No prob. Once you get your wick oxidized right, it's all gravy. Feel free to fire any questions my way.

Well........I just had my first "experience" with Ahlusion. Other than the ordering and I don't have my juice yet. But, I had an e-mail about my order on hold and pending further action. I read that and thought HUH. lol Turns out they noticed that on one of my juices I had 70 pg 30vg and the others were the other way around. I wanted 70pg/30vg on all of them so I obviously messed up in ordering. I think I was in a hurry so I didn't lose out. =) AND, I would have hated 70vg/30pg

So really? A vendor who first of all actually notices that something is "off" about the order and then takes the time out of what has to be a very busy schedule to contact me and ask if the order is correct. So I would get what I actually wanted.

All I can say is KUDOS to Ahlusion. If their juice is like their service (and I know you all say it is) I will be a very happy customer. I don't expect to like them all as that would seem...........unnatural. lol So no pressure there.

Thank you once again Ahlusion for taking the time. For giving me the chance to reverse my blunder. You certainly did not have to. Without being melodramatic I so greatly appreciate it. More than you know.

Welcome to the party. Your experience is only one of the reasons I don't buy juice anywhere else now. For the juice, hope you find a couple you like. Everyone's tastes are different. Can tell you they are made to order and are fresh on arrival so most need steeping to get the full flavor mix just right.

Just set up our amazing friend/neighbor with a Smokeless Image Volt kit, showed her the ropes, and filled cartos for her with:

SVC
Mystic Spiced Tea
Cantal Berry Ice
Smooth Criminal
Halo Mystic with a higher nic for emergencies

She now knows how to fill her cartos, has a key to our place with free reign over my juice, so if she gets into vaping she will be like a kid in a candy store!

I've been using my Volt here and there, and I am amazed at how far auto cig-alikes have come in the last few years.

That's interesting about the kick and vivi nova taste. I've been experiencing the same thing on my Kicked Jazz Cartopipe, but I assumed that the Blue Grass Burley just wasn't wicking well. I'll try it on the Jazz without the kick and report back soon.

Update: Yeah - you're absolutely right. I don't think the Vivi Nova wicks fast enough to keep up with a kick at 8 watts!

The SI Volt is a nice starter kit. Sometimes I wonder if I should have saved a couple of those bats and a charger for stealth mode, but I am so spoiled with my tanks don't think I would be happy.

Ordering her kit was a great opportunity excuse for me to pick up an extra battery, a nano, and a bunch of empty cartos. ;)

I was going to set her up with some twists and mini vivi novas, but when she tried mine at a really low wattage she would go into coughing fits. With the automatic batteries, she's taking tiny little draws, producing itty bitty wisps of vapor, and she is still appreciating the flavors. Whatever works, right? :D

I was looking at those eGo minis but thought maybe they wouldn't be powerful enough - I use the 1100 mAh eGo twist. How would you say it compares?

I have the 1100mah Twist as well...its not like the Twist, in that it doesn't allow you to change voltage, but its just like a regular Ego, so at around the 3.7v range. The only difference is the battery life...it obviously doesn't stay charged as long. Just like the 650mah Egos need charging more often than the 1100mahs...

I don't think I would have been successful without starting with the 808. Once you have made the switch its nice to move up nut my first month with carto tanks was very frustrating. If I had started there I would have given up.

Vape mail yesterday. The steepage has begun.

Just in time too, filled my last tank of SC right ater the caps came off.
Running into a minor issue with the 60ml.
Any of you with 60's experience...ever decant the juices?

As I get to the bottom third of the bigger bottle, the dropper cap isn't long enough to reach the juice like in the 30's.

That is why I didn't want them to think I would be unhappy with them if I don't like everything. We definitely all have different tastes. I will have a hard time letting then steep. I am very anxious to try them. lol And they have so many more to pick from. =)

I seriously can't tell you enough how impressed I was with their e-mail. That would have just been another thing that went wrong. My own fault but still. They don't know they may have saved my sanity. :)

And I don't think I would enjoy A+ the way I do if I hadn't started out with Chinese juices. 808+ Dekang was a great set of training wheels!
