PS. Is there some way to -block- a thread?

Now why would you want to do that, LisaL? Resistance is futile! Actually I've looked into blocking threads (one of those noob "what flavor are you vaping right now?" threads that I posted in when I was trying to get my post count up) and I don't think it can be done. My advice is to just try to keep a positive balance on your credit card!

Or, Moueiw, Mann and Tezcat!

Aw, thanks nomorenails!

This is just freakin' ridiculous.

I hate buying things that aren't on sale. I'd use a discount code for my dental visits if I could find one, so it's hard for me to bite the bullet on this Ahlusion thing.

What's that? Spend 20 bucks and get a 10ml for free? Uhm, that's like more than 30% off. Yes please!

BUT it's a trick. At $9 per - you have to get THREE bottles to get the free one. Okay, well, that's still a pretty good deal. I'll call it buy 3 get 1 free. Right on! So let's see what to choose .... hmmmm.

Crap. That's five. I can't decide! I want all five. I mean I haven't actually bought ANY juice this week .... Okay. I'll get these 4 and that one for my sample. Done.

Wait. There's actually SIX things in my cart. WTF? Oh yeah. I did really want to try a tea .... Lemme think a minute. So that would be 60mls - if I don't buy anything NEXT week AND I share with my husband well, that cuts it in half right there.

Sweet! I'll get these 5 and that one for my sample. Check out time!

What??? Shipping is 5 dollars??? That brings the total to 50 bucks! And it says right there if I spend 50 bucks I get FREE shipping. So basically if I just pick one more flavor it would be like getting another one for free!

I guess I -could- email that guy and ask for help tp narrow it down, but what if he tells me I should only get TWO??? There's really only one thing to do here. I think we all know what it is.

Now why would you want to do that, LisaL? Resistance is futile! Shoot - I love those "what are you vaping now?" threads. Just like walking the dog at night and looking into all the neighbors' windows to get a peak and what color they chose for -their- kitchen walls ;)

Aw, thanks nomorenails!

Mouiex wow now that's a review!! I wish there was a way to sub to a member! I will be very interested in hearing your other opinions! Thanks so much for giving them!

Why, Thank you! Those are very kind words. I'm looking forward to trying the last two, I'll be honored to share my thoughts with you.

And Lisa, I'm thoroughly enjoying your sense of humor. There's nothing like a good chuckle with my morning coffee.

All over the place
Tasting note: Caramel Pear Black Tea and Orange Nocturne
Steep time: 2.5 Days, Cap off

Caramel Pear Black Tea;
I won't lie, I dripped this on receipt and I've been skeptical of this whole Steeping thing. But I'm new, so forgive me. My first impression is that there was no pear or caramel in this, all I got was the bitter, tannic astringency of dark, unsweetened tea. After 2 and a half days of steeping, I did what I do with my flavors. I mixed my 24mg, extra flavor 50/50 down to 20mg with a dosed shot of PG. Forgive me, I'm a cheap ....... and I prefer subtlety and a little cheap extra mass. I'm tight, but I'm honest, and the chemist in me can't resist the urge to have a hand in the creation. I always request extra flavor because I like the luxury of trying it first like that, and then diluting it to taste where appropriate.

I have a long history of tasting. I categorize producers of wine by their signatures. Some are masculine, some are feminine, some are powerful, some are subtle and some are complex, to name just a few generalized attributes. My first vape experience was Volt. Simple but well made. My 2nd was DeKang. Bland and/or monolithic and often either oily or too citric. My 3rd, fortunately, was AIV. Refined Subtlety. And now I've tripped the Ahlusion fantastic. My generalizations for them are bold originality and extreme complexity.

This juice has definitely improved from the time it spent steeping, I will be skeptical no more. A pale golden color in the tank. Saliva sucking tannins on the attack predispose the palate for some sweetness, which is soon lightly satisfied by the ever so subtle juiciness of the pure, light pear undertone, which is then complimented by a heavier and more enveloping taste of the caramel. Not candied, but delicate. Not a cacophony, but a symphony with timing. Definitely not your child's candy plate, these are adult flavors for a developed palate. Your sweet tooth will be left wanting, but the cerebral harmony of these flavors are more than about something to taste. These are something to think about. You won't find this recipe or anything like it on Ejuice me up. It takes bold imagination to put something like this together and trust it to the masses. Frankly, I'm a little surprised at the popularity of this juice as it is unlike anything I've tried in my short time with nic juices. I think this will benefit from additional time in the bottle, but I had to fill a 3ml drip bottle for the here and now. As much as I liked it, I couldn't pry it from the fingers of my better half, who has a much better palate than my own. She loved it best of the two juices we tried tonight.

Orange Nocturne - As I thought, this is SO in my wheelhouse. Slightly more amber hued than the previous juice. Outrageously dusty Cacao tannins only slighty less astringent than the Black Tea. Beautifully complimented by the oh so slightly sweet carmelized (and herb spiced) orange. Also mixed down to 20mg with PG after initially trying, this also benefits from the slightly more subtle approach. The nasal exhale picks up on an herbal spiciness that adds significant complexity to this juice. Another adult flavor that conjures memories of holiday treats and begs a glass of champagne for accompaniment. Who am I to argue? Is the orange complimenting the chocolate, or is it the other way around? I have time to decide, but there is definitely a synergy to this. Another bold and daring combination and flavor profile. This is a juice for someone who thinks they are ready to move beyond a tobacco flavor to help them off the cigs, but doesn't want to cross to sticky dessert vapes or sweet fruity vapes. This is my favorite of the two.

I'll save my 1st day impressions of the Blueberry Colada and Tiramisu, as the two reviewed juices evolved significantly in the short time they spent steeping, and I have yet to re-sample these last two flavors after steeping.

Dayum. I see you are from Iowa and Michigan ----> Nice! What a wonderfully detailed review.

Everyone is welcome! We're all on the list, welcome to the party.

p.s. Tez, is a great reviewer! He is good at excavating. ;)

Yeah, I had to check that again. 1.95 shipping??? What's up with that???

That's even more befuddling when you see the packaging. I am one of the lucky ones who gets free shipping (hometown), but seeing as how the shipping is so cheap, it's almost as if everyone else gets free shipping as well.

BUT it's a trick. At $9 per - you have to get THREE bottles to get the free one. Okay, well, that's still a pretty good deal. I'll call it buy 3 get 1 free. Right on! So let's see what to choose .... hmmmm.

Lisa, let me assure you, Wlad is not the type of vendor who will say, "Oh, you've got to spend an extra dollar to get the free sample -- he just isn't like that. That is not to say that everyone should try to get over on his kindness, but he is not rigid.

Yeah, I put my credit card on a self-imposed lockdown and freed it because of this thread. My reasoning is delusional and a clear sign of a juice addict, but in my head it makes perfect sense. I tell myself "but but but you are NOT smoking and that's good!" I do have a budget (I do I really do!) so to make up for the extra expenses of buying tons of juice I skip meals a lot now. I've lost 8 pounds in six weeks (who loses weight when they quit smoking?...unheard of!!!). I save money at work by not driving somewhere to get lunch (gas) and I stock up at Walmart buying 28 cent Maruchan ramen soup. Twenty-eight cents people! I reason that I will pay my last car payment on October 1st so I can get more juice (because dontcha know I'm not smoking and I'm losing weight!), but I seem to forget my son needs braces and Christmas. So now I skip breakfast too and drink a lot of water and eat a lot of crackers. Sigh, it's a vicious cycle, but I'm getting Devil Dog! and haven't been this excited about a liquid of any kind since I was a baby with a bottle. And of course another sign of an addict is blaming someone else (Hula for starting this thread...LOL) for their own buying sprees and juice addictions (clearly all on me).

Hello, my name is RJ and I am an addict. Now I need to go fill in my cig savings versus e-cig spending report with all my new purchases of late and get back down to earth when I realize I will never break even. And I need to quit thinking about how cute my mailman is and why I seem to have a crush on him since I started vaping. And I need to quit thinking about my next two vapemails coming (more twists and heads and drip tips, and JUICE).

Ahlusion's site is just OVERWHELMING. Everything is so well thought out on there and so poignantly done. It's like you aren't going to be just vaping a juice, but vaping good memories that just takes you back. I haven't ordered from them yet, but I sent a message to them to give me some guidance. They have quite a few flavors that I am interested in. I found several strawberry vapes that could be perfect and various fruits that grabbed my attention. I remember EleanorR telling me about their Canyon Sun because I think a Cranberry Relish type vape could be heavenly. I have wandered back and forth over there...and now it's time to take the plunge. However, because they have a ton of Strawberries that caught my eye, I am going to rely on their advice to get me started. Somehow, I don't think my husband would appreciate me going off the deep end and blowing through a couple hundred dollars to try everything that caught my eye.

Thank you Mr. Mann, coming from you that is high praise indeed.
My home is in Michigan, but I have a house in Iowa as well. My crews do a lot of work in the plains states, and I got tired of living in a hotel. Of course, I have chargers, batts, juice and plenty of "accessories" in both places, so you Iowegians are welcome to come trade vape stories anytime I'm out there. The lack of a pro football team will require you watch the mighty Lions however.

Here's an update. Let me just say this first and foremost, I don't think I have ever gotten such a detailed and friendly response from a Vendor in the year and a half I have been vaping. From Mr. Wlad himself no less...and FAST...wow. I'm not even a customer yet (that's about to change in a few minutes.), and not only did I get my basic questions around, but he took the time to fully explain the why's and how's. He also encouraged me to only try 3 or 4 flavors at a time to spend time with the flavors and not get overwhelmed. How many business owners do that??? Isn't the goal to get us to buy as much as possible and if we don't like them...meh...oh well, they still got paid.

Completely...floored me.

Wow. Now I see what all of the praise really is about here. Not only did I get my head clear of what I want to order, but I don't feel like I am playing Roulette with my order. What's more, is I know Mr. Wlad is serious and dedicated about their company. Ladies and gentlemen, this is more than just a beautiful website. They are compassionate to us as buyers and that one email is definitely going to be a start to a very incredible journey.

Customer service is a stickler for me. I work with patients every single day, and my own goal is to not only treat people the way that I want to be treated, but to go above and beyond with smiles and compassion, because let's be honest, NO ONE wants to be on the patient's end of a doctor visit, even if it's a check up. The customer service I experienced today went above and beyond, and I appreciate it.

Thanks Mr. Mann and EleanorR, once again, you definitely have led me in the right direction.

I can't believe I just got this update in an email:

"Just an update from us to let you know that your order is currently being prepared. It can take anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours depending on the items in your order and/or the current amount of orders being processed. We will send an update once your order is ready to ship."

Kind of like, "hey bro, heads up, I know there is a long line but I'm making your latte right now."

I've gotten tons of status updates, but none telling me that they are working on it and will let me know when it's shipped. Usually it goes from order processed to order shipped. I like it. :D
