It's an ecf tradition when you become a vet to buy anybody who has ever responded to your posts a 10 mil of Ahlusion. I know that could be pricey, but I don't make the rules.

LOL! Let me just go open up a credit card that can't be maxed out and I'll fly you all down here and we will have an Ahlusion party...I'LL TAKE 30ML OF EVERYTHING PLEASE!

I ordered mine on the 21st. I tried it 6 days later and found it very, very faint. I tried it again today (12 days later) and I can still barely taste anything:/ Out of the 13 flavors (mind you, 5 of those arrived today) only 2 seem promising-JG Blend and Raspberry Sunset. Oh wait, Pumpkin Spice Latte is pretty good. I'm not getting the complexity or layers of flavors. However the oldest bottle I have is 11 or 12 days old. Even those that smell really good, I'm just getting a kind of harsh muddle. Hmmm

I had it too and while I could taste apple, it wasn't the cider I expected. I am getting a refill on mine with my last order. I can't wait to try it again!

Oh my

I couldn't wait any longer, I received my order Monday, Devil Dog, Caramel Apple, Wipeout (cantaloupe) and Peachy Affair.

I uncapped all the bottles and left them in a dark place immediately

I did sample the Wipeout just a tad but it seemed kinda light so I went back to my pedestrian juices and decided to wait as long as I could.

Curiosity got the better of me tonight (Wednesday) so I've been sampling the Peachy Affair thru a cisco atty on my buzzpro and all I can say is WOW  it is really great much better than anything I've tried in my short time vaping.

Kudos to the folks at Ahlusion.

Ahh, well. :\ That's too bad.

My Fijian Nights was a little low on flavor. What I can taste is maddening, because it seems very good, but there's just not enough of it. (And the exhaled vapor smells better than any other liquid I've tried, hands down.) One day I plan to come back to it if they can bump it up a little for me. To be fair I made my first order *before* I gave them info on what kind of equipment I'm using, then I let him know what my rig was in response to the feedback request email. My second order is VERY flavorful, so I wondered if they adjusted the recipes in my flavor profile to allow for the flavor muting a Vivi Nova/clearomizer can do.

Suggestion - Once steeping is fully complete, make sure you are vaping at a higher power level than a standard ego. Not sure of your voltage or mine really but per Wlad a little higher than a standard Ego battery (3.3?) is usually better. I seemed to find that missing sweet spot between 3.9 and 4.2 but I am guessing since I don't have a volt meter. It made a huge difference on the tobaccos.

I normally keep mine around 4.4 for everything but with some of the flavors I have actually had to drop it down quite a bit for full flavor. I had to with the cider, I had to take it to 3.9 in order to have a full flavor. Is that not normal?

Good evening my lovely Ahlusionites. It's been a fantastically busy day. No, I didn't get to place an order today. However, I did have a couple of questions for Mr. Wlad and his amazing team...and of course, once again they have come to the rescue. My blueberry dilemma is possibly solved.

Hint: Blueberry Vanilla Cake is NOT a myth!!

I basically told Mr. Wlad my dilemma...I need a Blueberry Cake/Muffin type vape to go with my morning coffee. It's a vaping must have.

Now, don't get me wrong, this isn't a deal breaker...Ahlusion is STUCK with me. That site is more popular on my net than MSN. i read and re-read...while I enjoy what remains of my Pink Label juice and count down the moments til I decide to crack open my next piece of strawberry heaven. I come here..read..reread....yeah, sad, I know.... I lurk..I wait til I can place my order because NO ONE should be without their favorite juice EVER...alas...this is the last time this will happen.

Anywho..back to my dilemma..Blueberry Vanilla Cake...or a blueberry breakfast vape for my coffee.

As usual, Wlad is on top of his emails. I had a reply within an hour and a half, which I didn't even check until noon, because that was when I went to lunch. So yeah, Mr. Wlad had answers...and it was like I found the old man on the mountain. He gave me additional information on my SVC, and PLJ (because you guys know I had to tell him how awesome they are), which I totally appreciated. He shared tidbits and facts about their juices (no secrets, mind you...just "did you know" type stuff that I really enjoyed and showed just how passionate and serious they are about their creations). Then...he dropped the magic word...

Blueberry Vanilla Cake DOES exist.

I will definitely be requesting a sample of this. I will let it steep when it gets here..and then one morning, when all the kids are still sleeping and I don't have to be at work, I am going to partake of this juice...slowly..intermingled with sips of my favorite Vanilla Biscotti coffee..and I am going to watch the sun rise over the little mountain across from my balcony.

Pure...bliss....

I have a Twist, and with the 2.4 ohm head in my Vivi, my happy place is usually around 4.2 volts. But with a new juice I usually try everything in the safe range from Ye Olde Safe Vaping Charte just to see.

You are the second person that posted this response (one was on the general forums) in a short time. I always knew that their recommendations tipped toward using atomizers/dripping but to turn away a customer completely? They have to know that dripping isn't the only method of delivery out there right? For what it's worth, I have used their juices in cartos, clearos, and dripped and it was all fine for me. I'm just kind of baffled by it is all.

That's a really weird and crazy response. Screw it, there are other good vendors out there that will take your money.

I only use tanks/cartos and I do not have any issue with their juices at all! I use 40/60 vg/pg.

First off: I think you should post the entire exchange -- that is the only way to judge it accordingly. (Your email and response.)

For me to truly be able to comment on what was said by Ahlusion I would have to know what was said.

If the message was meant to keep you from heartache and wasted money, then I don't see how that could be construed as bad -- after all they are turning away money, which is not exactly what the average vendor would do.

I have talked to Wlad regarding this and though the response was not from him or Alley, his point of view is that he ( "he" meaning the business) would rather steer people toward what what they feel is optimally suited for specific set-ups, even if that means losing a sell. This is not a case of elitism or a club type of business -- these people are the epitome of friendliness and openness.

p.s. In the email from Ahlusion, was there a suggestion of a pg/vg ratio that may work for you?

Here is an excerpt from Ahlusion's FAQ:

"Hardware recommendations
While our e-liquids can be modified to work with just about any device setup, it helps to let us know beforehand about some of your preferences and hardware. Preferences include what kind of flavors you like, the strength of your flavors, and just about anything you would like to tell us in regards to those flavors. The more we know the better. For hardware preferences let us know what you primarily vape with such as your device, type of atomizer, cartomizer, tank etc, and the preferred resistance. In our humble opinion, our e-liquids taste better on a true 3.7v device coupled with a low resistance atomizer (1.5 - 1.8ohm), but again this does not mean that you have to vape with those specific settings. After all, it's all about your preferences and this information simply helps us to fine-tune our e-liquids to your preferences. Based on your preferences we may sometimes recommend another vendor; our flavors are definitely not for everyone."

You bring up good points. I had a hard time seeing them saying nothing here for you move on. However suggesting something more suitable to you, instead of wasting money is something they would do in order to help someone.

Tee hee - And I have a 36 in my effort to cut out those last cigarettes. Obviously I haven't been using it too often, maybe i need a different flavor to work for me in that strength.

I cannot even begin to imagine what that would do to me. When I was doing 18mg it made me light headed.

That's all I vaped for the first year...now I'm down to half of that and would probably get light headed holding the bottle for too long.
