Now that was funny!

I found that too be quite funny as well!! Thankfully I haven't lost a bottle of my favorites yet! I would be in despair!

In the "Good news, Bad news" department...

My best customer is the largest Ethanol producer in America. The plants have now officially gone totally smoke free. No smoking anywhere on site. So I'm standing in the control room talking to the Ops manager Monday when a plant operator pulls out a Bolt and draws a big ole Vape. I almost fell to the floor. ...?! Oh yeah, they've decided that since it isn't an open flame, free to go RIGHT IN THE PLANT! How VERY modern and forward thinking of them, but this company is the best of the best and I'm really not surprised. Amazing leadership. Well, my employees thought my e-cigs were kinda cool up till now, but suddenly I have 40 guys on site WISHING they had one!

Boy, have I enjoyed this project, vaping away while I work. And now EVERY employee that smokes wants one, for obvious reason. So I have a new program. I will supply any employee with a kit at cost, and free juice while on a project. They're signing up in droves. The savings to me is astronomical. I no longer have the downtime of employees driving a company vehicle off site just to smoke, or wasting their protective garments (PPE), and the time savings! They can just vape right there in the plant while working. Oh happy day!

Downside? Well, the plant employees are devouring my ahlusion juices. They love them, and who am I to say no to a customer? But I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, going through my packed juices like there is no tomorrow, and AHLUSION IS STILL CLOSED!!! HELP!! I need a Fedex shipment FAST! Then I find out a new plant in Nebraska wants us there Monday, so no time to get back to Michigan and reload.

I'm REALLY happy that Ahlusion is opening their Swartz Creek Cafe, but this closed thing is killing me. Fortunately I have a 60ml of AIV coming but I need to start placing some volume orders for my crew (and hardware too) and I hope they get back online soon. From a health perspective, I'm very excited by this turn of events. I have the opportunity to convert a few dozen hardcore analog smokers but I like to provide the best for my excellent crews, and dammit, I want Ahlusion juice. Hey Wlad and Alley, can we work out some volume discounts?!

I just had to comment that, that is great of you to offer that to your employees! It sucks to be running low on juices, but I have never heard of an employer doing something that is that helpful for their employees! Nice job!

Something just dawned on me that I find interesting about Ahlusion's flavor line-up. Despite over 100 flavors, nowhere is there an RY4 or 555 to be found. I'm not opposed to either of those flavors, but I actually find that kind of refreshing that they seem to avoid the cliches and don't bend to the norm.

I'm still new to vaping. I've never heard of steeping. Is this done with all e-liquids?

Well, it's kinda hard to avoid unless you vape your entire bottle in one day (the same day you get it). Steeping really only refers to freshly made liquids that are delivered to you very shortly after its inception. It is essentially the process of just letting the elements of the juice have time to truly blossom. Steeping, in a nut shell, means time. So, if you get a juice on Monday, by the following Monday the juice is steeped (or aged) one week. Have a 3 month old juice? You've got a 3 month steeped juice. As a general rule of thumb, age makes the juice much better.

What type of melon would you say it is? Watermelon, Honeydew, Cantaloupe, or a melange? :)

Eleanor- I would def. say it is a blend- sometimes I think cantaloupe- others I think honeydew and I can taste a hint of watermelon.

Excuse me- this thread is flying I am behind and reading to catch up:)

I've tried to order from ahlusion twice in the past couple of weeks. Both times I couldn't. I may give them one more shot on my next round of juice sampling orders, but that is not how I shop normally and I won't do it for juice.

If I can't log on to their site anytime day or night and put an order in, they won't be getting any business from me. I have no intention of purchasing from anyone "at their convienence". There is no reason they can't leave the order taking open all the time and just fill the orders as they can. If I'm going to have to wait a week or something to get my order then an email saying so, and offering to cancel my order if I desired, is perfectly acceptable and something I'd consider good customer service. Not being able to put an order in on an online store, at any time, is not good customer service.

OMG! I lost a bottle of 30 mL Smooth Criminal! I put it somewhere to steep but I have no idea where. D'OH!

Oh no! I too realized last night that I had "lost" 2 10ml bottles of Ahlusion juices, opened and sitting somewhere "safe" . . . Deo gratias, I found them today once I'd had some coffee! Here's hoping you and Lisa both find your lost treasures soon . . .

My heart does go out to you because I did something similar, though I think what I did was just plain ol' goofy! I like to steep some bottles long term and so I try and hide them from myself so I forget about them and am not tempted. Well, I did too good of a job with my SC!

p.s. That is a gorgeous dog!

Eleanor found hers so perhaps there's hope for us ;)

While I certainly understand your sentiments and I tend to feel the same way about certain other vendors, bear in mind that they're in the process of moving and expanding their facilities right now. They have been opening part-time intermittently to take orders. Most other vendors that I have seen go through a move simply shut down altogether for anywhere from a weekend to a couple of months. And this has been stated in this thread before, but their ordering system closes down when they reach the maximum capacity of orders that they can fill in a day. Personally I think this is good practice and very responsible because it allows them to stay on top of orders and we get our orders processed and shipped rapidly. I've never gotten the impression that Ahlusion operates "at their convenience." They've got the best customer service of anyone in the e-cig industry that I've seen in my 3+ years of vaping.

Yeah, you can just tell by looking that that's one ornery pooch! Is that an Italian Greyhound?

Guess you have to do what makes you happy. Ahlusion had a sale not long back that really put them in the weeds for a bit and they usually have updates on the website about when they are closed (weekends for example) - they dont like their customers having to wait weeks for things to ship.
When I started vaping - I was ordering from KBV - when they got backed up - they would shut down for a short period to catch up and they always went out of their way to let you know they were doing that - I didnt have a problem with it then or now. I kind of feel like the guys who have my order, have been paid and just sit on it for a month before I even see a shipping notice ...irritates much more than having to wait to place an order.

But ultimately you have to go with an experience that works for you.

Yeah Lisa- is Sophie a whippet or a greyhound? She is adorable!

I feel for the lost bottles- to make you feel better I vaped my last drop of melon berry frost and yup- got the pretty blue glass bottle yesterday - but I cant use it yet-still has to sit a while.... wahahahaha!

And whoops- I forgot about the move too - no wonder Ahlusion is only open periodically right now. I am truly surprised they are at all - craziness:)

I think I may post a pic of my Saginaw tonight. Saginaw is my dog I found on some railroad tracks on New Years Day a few years back. She is a little thing (3.9 lbs) and she was almost a gonner as it was a ton of snow and she was all alone. After our first trip to the vet, they told me that she was evidently being used for breeding and she got to old and the "people" that owned her through her away.

Ricks Choice is almost ready! SWEET!

Awww- Mr. Mann! The big old guy in my avi - is our rescued great pyrenees- Harley. When we went go adopt him- there was a old girl at the rescue who had been used for excess breeding & thrown away just like your Saginaw- she was a beautiful Pyr - they found her tied to a tree and close to death. She wanted to come home with us too and had such soulful eyes - we took her! They said no one would adopt her cause she was old and big dogs (sadly they dont live long lives Pyrs you are lucky for any year over 6/7)...... we were fortunate enough to share our lives and to love her for a little over a year before she passed. Awww- your story made me miss our Old Charlotte girl. Such a beautiful soul in that dog I will never forget her!
Cheers to people like you who take in the unwanted and show them love. Cheers to Saginaw from Charlotte!

Did you try today, what about when you made this post? "I have no intention of purchasing from anyone 'at their convienence'." Would you rather them stay open at your convenience? They are open now and were when you posted this. You say "There is no reason they can't leave the order taking open all the time and just fill the orders as they can" but obviously there is a reason. Once again, as has already been stated, if you are fed up, then count your loses, or better yet, that which you haven't lost.

I am sure this won't happen, but if anyone reads enough of this thread, the website or just emails the owners, there will be no guessing game.

Here's Saginaw! I found her on the snow covered railroad tracks in the city of Saginaw, Michigan. When I say she's a handful, I only mean she is a hand full. hahaha It's time the lil' one got a hair cut. LOL

Saginaw.jpg (Click to enlarge)

She unfortunately only has four teeth in the back. When I found her, her teeth were so rotted and loose that virtually all of them had to be pulled; but, she has a pretty firm gum grip.

p.s. (I actually would really love to meet the people that had her before! Teeth for teeth! :grr:)
