Hello. My name is Rick Bowers and I am the Rick that requested Ahlusion to make a Rice Pudding juice. I have not ordered any in a while and actually need to pick some up soon. It is really good as are most of Ahlusions juices, but I think I "overdosed" on their stuff and the old taste buds got bored for a while. Time to put them back in the rotation for a while for sure! I am not responsible for the recipe, just the idea for a Rice Pudding juice. The owners of this company are Wonderful people and they make a very consistent, quality product. Glad to see them getting some face time here on the ECF!!! Happy vaping to all and to all a Goo night

Poor planning has lead me to needing a tank before the 48 hour cap steep is complete. I need to tank up for work.all have been steeping in the dark for 25 hours. Which one would be best to steal a vivi nova tank from before steeping is complete

For me Stardust needed a long(er) steep but Smooth Criminal has always been fine to me right off the bat. JG Blend also needed to steep but I had it bold. I would recommend Smooth Criminal but I have not had the others to compare.

Never have I known of a greater testimony for our differences, perceived or real. SC MUST steep long term for me, but I really love the idea that it is always up to the individual.

Honestly it might taste better after a steep but I have always used it from the moment I get it because I liked it then. I have never really given it a chance to steep long enough to see if it tastes even better as I use it too quickly. But it is definitely interesting how each person is so different.

Something I just thought of though, the last time I had smooth criminal I was still on analogs, maybe my taste has changed since then and I won't like it right away. Hmmm.....

It's funny what was mentioned about the Serious Cider...I have been wondering about this one, although I haven't tried it yet, but its the only one I haven't been able to "smell" at all. I haven't given it any negative thought yet since I've been under the weather and my senses aren't 100%, but the other juices do have some aroma to me. this is the only one that I can;t smell at all. I'm guessing its much more mild than anticipated. (at least in its pre-steeped condition)

Agree with Biziou, the Sleigh is probably okay to take for a ride. It will mature some more and smooth out but if it has a very light pink tint to it, have fun.
Speaking of which, I am finally vaping it again right now so all is well. After much shaking and about 36 hours of cap off, I couldn't wait any longer.

Hey CM- Had to take a ride in the country today. Drove past a couple of thousand acres of farmland. The fields have been prepped and they were putting in the seedlings. The crop, Strawberries. Probably have some Plant City Sweet Charlies up your way in about 2 and half months.

So that's why I have this virtual sniffle! I vaped some Jade Dew today and I was thinking how excellent this would be on a sore throat. It's got a tad more mint than I prefer, but for those who like mint, I recommend it. It's a very nice, soothing, and refreshing vape. The only issue that I have is that I taste the green tea on the first inhale, but mint tends to mute my tastebuds, so I pretty much only taste the mint after that. More steeping (going on two weeks here) may bring the tea to the forefront a bit more, but if I reorder I will probably ask for less or no mint.

It usually seems to take over the flavor to where you can't taste much else. I definitely like "mint" far better than actual menthol...and I am really liking the melon-berry frost with breeze. I mainly only taste the mintyness, but that's probably mostly because I can't taste much else of anything right now anyway. I can definitely tell the Breeze is much more mild than the lowest level of menthol from Rawr...that was a very strong menthol that caused me not to be able to taste anything except "coolness", regardless of the flavor. I ended up getting their Angel Tears (menthol drops) and using half the amount that they use for their lowest level, and its still kind of strong!!

I didn't realize the Jade Dew came with the mint/menthol options, or was suggested that way. I'm guessing you can get it without? Is it basically just a green tea flavor? (if it didn't have the mint/menthol in it)

Serious Cider- Hmmmm from a post earlier - which I meant to highlight.....I think our serious ciders may be slightly "off". I too taste the sweet ripe apple - very little cider action going on and mine have steeped for over a week. I think we might have ordered when the "cider incident" of an old recipe happened - so talk to Wlad - he already told me I had..... and they would send out the new and improved recipe..... but I remember us all talking about ordering as soon as that was up - so maybe that happened to you too????

I think you might be talking about my post lol. Yeah, that may be it. And it has actually started tasting MORE off as it has steeped. It kinda has this baby soap aftertaste to it (like the Johnson and Johnson baby soap). Still get the apple, but now the weird aftertaste. I may just send Wlad an email about it to see whats up.

So here's an update on the steeped flavors:

Smooth Criminal: I really enjoy this one now. It is a really good, smooth tobacco flavor with a sweet/spicy exhale. It's really nice and light but complex at the same time.

Honeydew Boba Tea: This juice is fantastic too. The honeydew is definitely the dominant flavor but I do get the creamy tea underneath. And its not overly sweet which I think is awesome.

Peppermint Mocha: Strong peppermint flavor with just a hint of coffee and chocolate. While I do enjoy this one from time to time I wish it had a more pronounced mocha flavor to it. After all, it is Peppermint MOCHA lol.

Serious Cider: As I just stated, this flavor is pretty off for me. It has a sweet apple taste to it, but no spice. Also, I am now getting this weird soapy aftertaste. Gotta talk to Wlad about this one.

Oh sigh. I just had to taste a couple more of my new juices today (both created on 9/21, so still "young" for me). My 10ml bottle of Boba Coconut was a bit bland this morning, but now -- -- is coconut milk incarnate!!

Knowing from my Melonade experience how delectable their honeydew is, I will definitely be trying the Boba Honeydew next order!

My 30ml bottle of Smooth Criminal is fascinating: I know it needs a full 4-6 weeks; but it is already a very smooth, intriguing and vapable straight tobacco. Once again, I are a happy Ahlusion gal! (Hint: young SC + Boba Coconut = great two-fisted vaping! )

Hello there sweet Eleanor!! Hope you've had a wonderful weekend as well!. Just wanted to say good call on the Boba Tea with Honeydew...the honeydew flavor in that juice is so beyond real it's almost weird the first vape or two.In a good way, its just the realization that you are tasting something that is so real, but you aren't actually eating it...if that makes any sense. It's hard to put that part into words for me. Then after that it is just pure heaven. I can honestly say at this point...it may be my favorite juice that I have ever tried. I will be ordering the largest bottle available...the smooth velvety boba tea component makes it smooth enough to be an "all day vape" (even though i don't really use that phrase), but not too sweet or fruity from the honeydew. As much of a fruity vaper as I am...believe it or not the fruitier juices have never been my "primary" vapes.....in recent months its been a nutty natural cinnamon juice, prior to that was a creamy coconut. And then my 100s of fruitier vapes were just in the in betweeners, but never smooth enough for extended periods of time. This is the perfect match for me and an easy "all day", or all week, or all month juice for me. I get the enjoyment of super authentic fruitiness that I love so much, but the smooth creamy tea that makes it perfectly enjoyable for extended periods of time.

Mr.Mann...I owe you big time for that one...if everyone had a juice that was destined for them, Boba Tea with Honeydew would be my soul, or "juice mate".

If you love it with the coconut...and already know you love the honeydew from their other juices, you will be in absolute heaven with this one. I have so many new juices to try still, and I'm honestly bummed that I'm all out of that one, because it's really all I want!

Jade Dew is basically a good green tea with "a touch of mint for a refreshing taste" that comes in it when you order it straight. The mint is definitely a nice fresh natural mint, and not at all like a menthol or toothpaste. Although I'm not much into mint, I do like this one but it's probably something I'd want a few puffs of here and there, rather than a tankfull. As I mentioned, it might mellow out a little with more steeping, but I'll probably ask if they can leave out the mint or reduce it by half or so next time.

I've done it several times when one liquid is meh, or I get one of my brilliant brainiac moments..Sometimes it works, other times the fire brigade show up asking what the heck.....That reminds me - actually they did do that when i was toasting dried chili arbol. Unknown to me, the fragrance drifted down the hallway and the residents were all choking and their eyes were watering......oops.

I knew I couldn't be the only one who sometimes did that . . .

Good morning and happy Monday my wonderful ladies and gentlemen of the Ahlusion thread (actually "good and Monday" never go hand and hand for me..but I will live vicariously through all of you that do manage this miracle..I HATE MONDAYS!!!)

This morning..I want to talk about customer service..and once again, Ahlusion goes to the above and beyond. Ok, so you remember how I was telling you guys about my self made disaster when I was ordering on Friday? I had forgot to order a juice I really wanted really REALLY bad. Last night before I went to bed, I thought to myself, "Audra, you need to send these guys an email. What can it hurt? The worst they will do is say they are unable to add to the order. You won't know unless you try!" Man, I am so glad I did this.

Not only did they correct my order and add the juice (Melon Berry Frost), but they caught an error I didn't even pick up on!!!! I had ordered my SVC at 100VG!!! I got not one..not two..but THREE emails asking me to confirm my order regarding the SVC while I was sleeping. I immediately responded to them this morning, confirming my now perfect order and thanking them profusely.

Just wow. Customer service is something that Ahlusion has an abundance of. These were MY errors. Corrected by them. No scolding, no "I'm sorry but we can't do this...". They went above and beyond saying "no problem...and by the way..did you mean to place that SVC at 100vg??". This is the best company I have ever had the honor and pleasure of dealing with and I will keep dealing with them until I am no longer vaping (which means forever and ever amen--so sayeth a country song I remember from my childhood).

Dropping in to say hello! I seem to be having a problem and may be in for a juice overhaul over the past couple of weeks I've noticed headaches and sore/tight throat during and directly after vaping. Also some sinus pressure. Not sure what's going but I'm not happy and it seems to only be getting worse. If it's a PG thing that's gonna suck because all I don't have any 100% VG stuff on hand or coming in the mail. It's happening with both Ahlusion and HHV(the only 2 vendors I buy from). ARGH!

It could also be VG. I can't vape more than 30% VG without the same stuff occurring and then turning into a smoker's cough! When I tried a VG juice I felt like my lungs were under water. I did some research and the stuff I had started on was 90/10 and I never had any problems. Then when I discovered ejuice vendors I was buying 50/50. You hear a lot of talk about people that can't vape PG but nothing about problems with VG.

I hope you figure it out and feel better soon. But I thank you for reminding me. I've been careless since finding Ahlusion. Some of their flavors don't come lower than 50/50.

Good luck and drink lots of hot tea. It is good for your sinus's.

So I was having one of those days where none of my vapes were suiting me, and it was just really frustrating... I'm sure everyone's had em. I think the main culprit is that the only Ahlusion I have properly steeped is Masala Chai, and while it is quite tasty, I'm really not in the mood for spicy today. So I decided to try out one of my new ones, mostly unsteeped. Yeah, I like to live dangerously. I went with Strawberry Banana Cream because the smell on that one seemed to change the least since I opened it, and it seems perhaps less complex than some of the others.

Well if it changes any, it'll only be bonus because this one is really good right now. I was a little worried about the cream component, because sometimes "cream" vapes I've tried have this heavy milkfat-ish feel to them (I don't know how else to describe it?) that might taste good at first, but ends up making me feel queasy. I needn't have worried. The cream is light and airy, barely there really, but just giving the whole blend a fluffy kind of sweet lightness. The sniff test reads as banana-heavy, but the taste is a pure mix, I can't say one has a stronger presence than the other. If you twisted my arm, I'd say the banana is in the front on the inhale, and the strawberry comes out more with the exhale. And this ain't no banana candy (which is actually a flavor I'm fond of at times, but I want real banana too.) This is just pure mashed up bananas and strawberries. It's light, but not low on flavor, which is pure magic in my book. I went with the sweetener option, but there's nothing sugary or syrupy about it, it's perfectly sweet in my opinion. Love this!

I have a large bottle of this ordered already. It is such a wonderful flavor. It's amazing to me how they can create a flavor that has 2 distinct flavors without them mixing. I got mine sweetened, too. But it doesn't have a candy sweetness to it. It tastes like perfect ripe fruit. Now I'm craving it and have to go get mine out!

I'm setting here alternating between pineapple cream and sweet surrender. They are both good, too. I think the pineapple could be a bit stronger but since I like mild vapes it is perfect to me. Sweet surrender is another that I've got to get a larger bottle. Seriously, I'm going to run out of room to keep these glass bottles. There are far too many that I am in love with.
