The Legacy showed up yesterday. Works great but I am still adjusting to the VW. Trying find a sweet spot. Also found some of my clearomizers are not working well with it. Burns the heck out of the liquid.

Overall, great little PV. Fits the had well, construction is solid. Vapes like a champ. It's a great addition to my small collection. I still need to try it without the kick at some point.

Hey New Kid, did you get your Legacy yet? I've had mine for about 2 months now and it's barely left my hand. Yup, VMOD in one hand, Legacy in the other, and Ahlusion in both devices! Anybody curious as to how I'm able type? :)

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, dig this: Man, I was just in another vendors sub-forum which is back (;)) in my previous vaping life, and which I would (;)) not order from again. I noticed a customer who said he/she bought over $150.00 worth of juice and asked for a small sample in the order comments section. Not only did this person not receive a sample, but no response to the question. A thread was made, then the flaming from the fans started. You know how it goes, "nobody owes you free stuff," "you are not entitled," "maybe he just didn't see the comments."

All I want to say about this thread and our vendor is while we may defend Ahlusion (Wlad and Alley) to some degree, that ill type of behavior is blatantly missing from here and also from Ahlusion.

The whole reason I was even back there, was to see what I would find. I have been to several vendors threads recently, and I am just not seeing anything close to what we have going on. All you guys rock in here and I think loyal supporters are a reflection of what is being supported. That notion makes me feel good.

Since you asked I grabbed ours off the shelf. My wife and I tried it and it has been steeping for two weeks now and it's (hold on - this will be shocking)...
....easily the best Raspberry we have tried to date. Very clean with something else in the background. Heck Ahlusion is good at that. It's complementary, not strong enough for me to identify but really nice.

Anyone tried Raspberry Sunset? Ehh, either way thats gonna be the sampler with my next order lol.

Well said, Mr.Mann. Let me add that I appreciate how nobody has come off as a Ahlusion Zealot. Not everyone will like their wares. However, their customer focus is top notch.

Yeah, the Legacy is rock solid! It sounds like the wattage on the Kick might be up a little high if you're burning liquid. I usually have mine set around 8.5-9, but that's even a little hotter than some prefer. Honestly, I thought I would use mine without the Kick, but I never have!

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like some pretty 'backwards business' practices to me! I've dealt with some folks like that in the past. I don't really see the point anymore. Even if they made really amazing juice, I still wouldn't see the point.

I noticed that pattern with a few vendors awhile back, and I must say that I don't care how good a juice is, not saying that these vendors are all that, but I cannot support those that don't support me.

Message to vendors: Don't have a comments box, if it is not going to be responded to. ;)

I just took a little trip over to that thread. LOL! Now I know where to send people when they blow in here insinuating that we're fanboys!

My favorite quote in the thread: "So to sum up. Sometimes lack of communication isn't that big a deal if you get mostly what you want."

I wish I had noted the attitude prior to placing an order from them.

The demeanor almost makes you want stay away from their goods.

We'll see if what I got shapes up.

First real laugh of my day!

I do want to make the point that I never experienced that type of behavior from that vendor, but I saw it soooo much that after awhile, I couldn't ignore it.

Anytime the tab of customer's comments has a menu that includes the categories, "Just to bother you," and "I'm Lonely?" Seriously?! The last time I went to make an order (I think that's why I was there), I saw that and thought to myself, "this ish right here takes some brass!" No thank you. There should be a category for "why I am not ordering!"

I know, right?! Completely ridiculous!

I read a series of communications between said vendor and a customer that absolutely shocked me. I don't expect to be treated preferentially, but I do expect to be treated respectfully.

Absolutely! I certainly wouldn't expect that any vendor goes to the great lengths to open a dialog with their customers that Wlad and Alley do, but sheesh, that other guy seems to have nothing but contempt for his customers!

Hi everyone.........while I am TOTALLY curious now - Im not going to look as it has taken enough time just catching up on this thread today!

Hence- why I started the real name game. While I have lurked, read, occasionally posted here and there - something that Ahlusion is doing is sticking in my crawl (in a good way) and I feel I have to share, post and follow....

Yes- I think the juice is amazing. Nope, I do not adore every single one (thank goodness or I would have so much juice here - it would surely expire before I could vape it all)- but some has knocked my socks off with how amazing it is and the BIG picture is what they are trying to do. The customer service is so over the top - simple words can not describe it. Where the customer comes first... they genuinely care about your thoughts. Their communication is unparallelled and I am so happy I read Mr. Mann's top 5 ( see I told ya stealth reader usually)- and gave Ahlusion a try! I am now hooked and so happy with the liquid, service... the whole experience - Im not on that "Im bored - what else is out there"- kick...

I truly know it wont be everyone's favorite- but I can say with confidence - it is my favorite and I am happy about that!

Thank you EleanorR! Great review. Makes me even more excited to try.

axolotly... your review made my mouth water for real. Thanks!

Mambo is amazing, and I don't have much of a sweet-tooth. I find it truly finds it's flavor after a 48 hour cap-off steep, and then about 3 days capped. It's a very in-your-face caramel without being too sweet. I tend to get a bit silly with my descriptions, but it is a very "meaty" caramel with a bit of a bite. Not meaty in the sense of tasting like meat (veggie here), but very substantial in a way that your whole mouth somehow tastes it. I've found this with a lot of Ahlusion's juices. Some other vendors you get a very noticeable "tongue-hit" on the sweet side. Ahlusion's juices somehow attach my whole mouth.

So, uh, yeah. Good. :)

Wlad or Alley wrote on my last receipt: "Glad you are enjoying Car-Mal Mamo" with a nice smiley face. I'm going to have to send them an email back telling them I didn't have a choice - it won't stop attacking my mouth.

Awesome, thank you!
Sleighride is my current favorite indugence, pure fresh candy store candy cane. Clean mint, not menthol or medicine flavored.

All my flavors smell so fantastic. They are steeping with caps off and I havent even tested a drop. :)

ps Happy Friday!

Getting a PhD is serious, Tez! Keep with it, bud. Anyone as smart as you is destined for that title!

Lauren, thanks for that. Occasionally I wonder how people knew about my postings but I always forget about those under the radar. Shoot, I know I have been in many threads and not posted. Sometimes it is so weird to be on other parts of the forum and see soooo many people that you've never even bumped into.

I will say that not having to be so uber concerned with juice huinting has taken a major load off my back. Now, if we can just get through this move with Ahlusion, I know big things are in store (literally, "in store!;)).

Hey all,
I have stumbled upon a steep evaluation methodology that is really working for me.

It all started when the better half rejected the superior vaping technology that is the 510 big batt and accessories. She loves her slim, elegant volts and asked if I might find her something better than the cartridge delivery system that is long, stilleto-ish and invokes the cigarette holder look of Cruella DeVille. She has a drama company and can never look too elegantly stylish.

In my quest, I happened on the new Volt Nanomizer. The diameter of the normal batt, good looking and sufficiently long to provide the look she sought. Today, I tried them. They're amazing. Long, thin, clear, bottom feeding cartomizers. What really struck me was the purity of flavor. Far better than even the HH .357's I recently obtained. Seriously. And the vapor production beats the original volt carts significantly.

Then it occurred to me. In the words of King Julian, I have devised a cunning test. I bought many, so I decided to sample my steeping juices. PERFECT. A true nuanced review of the evolution of the juice at it's current point in time. As they only hold about 1ml they're perfect for taking a couple toots at a time. So once I fill them with a particular juice, I attach them to the bottle of that juice with a rubberband and I can come and revisit that juice every few days, simply by screwing on a little 808 batt without removing it from the bottle.

Since I devised this so that I could review Ahlusions steeping juices in small efficient amounts, I have decided to name this system in honor of Wlad (Hi Wlad) and so I have given it the name "Steep Evaluation Method, Portion Efficient Review For Information". I know that's kinda long, so maybe it needs an acronym. Any ideas?

Nanos are awesome. Just got in some of the new version. I'll have to give your method a try. I love my Volts and if you ever have any problems the customer service is awesome.

Moueix, I don't think we've directly talked in this thread, but I just wanted to let you know I always enjoy your posts. You seem like a solid dude (not like Mann or Tex - something wrong there).

I tried the first-gen Nano, and it didn't perform well at all. Do you know if there is a newer version you got? I still like to use my cig-a-like once in a while.

The new version has most of the bugs worked out. I did have one that wouldn't quit leaking so it ended up in the trash. Sent off a quick email to customer service and they refunded my money.

Hi Ax, I'm nothing if not thorough, and I read up on everything said about those nano's before I ordered. First, the ones selling now are a 2nd version produced to alleviate the problems encountered with the first. Second, Volts juices are predomininantly PG, and I think it has a lot to do with the leaking problems. I would suspect that since the purchasers are Volt-centric, that they are mostly using those high PG juices, where I prefer mine 50/50, thus thicker.

I applied Occam's Razor to the litany of problems and from the first cartridge, I used the 50/50's, filled them quickly, and screwed the caps on VERY tightly while holding as close as possible to the ends to prevent cracking. It seemed that any chance of air flow through the fluid portion of the cart was the likely culprit. Out of 10 so far, I don't have a single leaker and they're performing flawlessly. Too early to recommend them outright, but I will update if I encounter any of the problems reported.

I appreciate your sentiment, but I've got more serious faults than San Andreas. Tez and Mann are Men Of The Year compared to this scoundrel.

Their juices are 90 Pg/10 VG and are from China. They are coming out with a new USA line in a few weeks. Can't imagine that they will have anything that can compete with Ahlusion. I've seen the line-up and it is basic flavors. They may be really good. But I think my taste buds have become too spoiled for anything plain.

They also have a new one coming out for the X2 soon. They call it the T2 for now but I'm sure it will get a name change when it arrives. There was a contest to name the Nano. I'm interested in trying this one out. It is bottom coil like the nano. It just shipped so it should arrive soon.

Hi to everyone my "real life" name is Laura.

(I figured since we were doing introductions I would join the party)

Now Wlad and Alley are going to know who the addict buying all the Cafe Au Lait is when they reopen.

Also...Cranberry Autumn is REALLY growing on me.

Hey everyone I might as well jump in, too. My name is Rebecca or Becki.

Laura, I've got a sample of Cafe Au Lait steeping. It sure smells good. I'm trying to find a good coffee that I don't have to do any mixing myself. I also ordered a sample of the Caramel Coffee. I like the Kona Kick if I mix it half and half with Chocolate Cream!

I've got about 12 new flavors steeping. I think the Car-mal Mambo is getting tasted tonight! I managed to last 24 hours before breaking into the Chocolate Cream :)

"Back door", more like. amirite?

Days like today make me wish I had an iPhone. Then I could peer out the window and ask it, "Is that rain?" This MBF in my carto is adding a little sunshine to an otherwise gloomy Friday, though.

Hi Lauren! I went ABD last spring, and I've probably got 2 or 3 years to go (hopefully 2), but partly because I'm simultaneously working on an MA in another discipline (Art History MA -- my PhD will be in Anthropology, more specifically Archaeology) on a totally different topic in a different region -- glutton for punishment, I guess! :) So what did you get your PhD in?

Are you having any luck with the VMOD?
