I think it is actually the vivi's. I'm at 8 watts, and nothing should burn there. Seam like I got a batch of coils that were wound too tight.

These are really playing havoc with my poor taste buds. (OLFACTORY RECEPTORS. WHATEVER.) I take a puff, and the flavor comes through. The next puff, it's all mint. The next, almost nothing. It's so strange.
This may just be some weird taste thing I'm going through, but I think it's best to keep my mint safely compartmentalized for the time being.

I can say that there is only one of these juices that I totally could not tolerate - Zing. However, I tried it immediately upon arrival, and it has been sitting in the cabinet since. So I will try it again at some point.
My absolute favs have been JG Blend, Devil Dog, PINK LABEL***, Chocolate Coconut Almond, Cafe Au Lait, Peppermint Mocha and Chocolate Hazelnut. These are definite "re-purchases", and I've definitely done so on the JG, but always want to try new flavors when I'm on their site (and reading this thread). So thankful to Mr. Mann's post in another thread that led me to Ahlusion - I don't think I've ever need to look anywhere else. And my husband also loves the JG Blend and Devil Dog, so it's all good!
And darn I ALWAYS forgot to ask for the free sample with my order!! And where are you all getting your coupons? I don't get any in my email after my orders

Hot Sticky Buns
A short review
(uhm...I know this group...don't say it)
Let me start off with a bit of a tale, a tale of a tiny ship..ummmm...wrong story....
My wife use to make sticky buns. From scratch. Took hours for her to make a batch starting out early in the morning. She was especially particular with the variety of cinnamon she used. Not all are a like. Fresh and hot from the oven they were amazing. These were not the cake like texture ones, these were chewy with a rich and well developed dough. Whenever she took a batch somewhere, people would fawn over them. Even the ones down at the mall were no match. Anyway, I have something to compare with. Not a fair comparison really as no one could come close to those buns.
I let it steep for about 2 weeks. I got 50/50 at 6mg. Filled up a Vivi Nova, 2.8 ohms and popped it on my new Legend Kicked at 8watts. That makes out to about 4.9v. So I am vaping it rather hot and that is intentional. (Come on, they are supposed to be "hot" sticky buns....)
On the draw I get a tongs but clean cinnamon flavor. No weirdness in this tank! It is rather strong and I like it. Then comes the inevitable exhale. *sigh* And the dough comes through. This part reminds me of my wife's sticky buns. Its not just that I can taste the dough she make come to life after hand kneading the dough but that I can almost feel the complex texture of the dough in my mouth. Really. Throughout the moment there is the underlying hits of a dark brown sugar that has been caramelized while baking in the oven. A sip of a good dark coffee makes this a great morning companion.
Well, there you have it. Yes, I love it. I will say it is probably not for everyone. The flavors are really bold, no dancing around the olfactory receptors here.

Nanos are awesome. Just got in some of the new version. I'll have to give your method a try. I love my Volts and if you ever have any problems the customer service is awesome.
The new version has most of the bugs worked out. I did have one that wouldn't quit leaking so it ended up in the trash. Sent off a quick email to customer service and they refunded my money.
Their juices are 90 Pg/10 VG and are from China. They are coming out with a new USA line in a few weeks. Can't imagine that they will have anything that can compete with Ahlusion. I've seen the line-up and it is basic flavors. They may be really good. But I think my taste buds have become too spoiled for anything plain.
They also have a new one coming out for the X2 soon. They call it the T2 for now but I'm sure it will get a name change when it arrives. There was a contest to name the Nano. I'm interested in trying this one out. It is bottom coil like the nano. It just shipped so it should arrive soon.

Laura, I've got a sample of Cafe Au Lait steeping. It sure smells good. I'm trying to find a good coffee that I don't have to do any mixing myself. I also ordered a sample of the Caramel Coffee. I like the Kona Kick if I mix it half and half with Chocolate Cream!
I've got about 12 new flavors steeping. I think the Car-mal Mambo is getting tasted tonight! I managed to last 24 hours before breaking into the Chocolate Cream
I ordered the first gen nanos and was sorely disappointed. Glad to hear this round is performing better because I so did want to love them. I LOVE the idea of using them as testers - I'm going to order and copy that idea for sure!

Oh, forgot to mention the Car-Mal Mambo - it was a bit too sweet for me, but again, I tried it without steeping. Wlad strongly encouraged me to steep it for a longer amount of time - which I've done. I need to try that one again. It was not terrible by any means, just a bit sweet and not enough TH for me. I'll try it again and let you know how it goes. I tend to gravitate to coffee and chocolate flavor juices, and I can say that I haven't gone wrong with Ahlusion.
Hey Everyone! I have been lurking this thread for a while, waiting for my equipment to arrive. I just got my vaping setup going today and I'm looking forward to my first order from Ahlusion. I have been checking their site for a few days now, even put a wishlist together, but I can't seem to catch them when they are open for orders. I know they have been moving, but it sounds like some people here have had luck with some recent orders. Does anyone have any advice for me? I'm really looking forward to putting in a big order . I sit here for over an hour reading through only 15 pages and I already know my wife's gonna kick my .... sometime tomorrow after I find Ahlusion open for sales. Open the doors, let me in. I have 36 flavors on my list to try. I have to stealth mode and only order a few at a time though or I'm on the couch for a week or more. With a baby due in Dec, I'll be on the couch plenty enough as it is but I must try the Ahlusion!

Oh I just read their latest post about the move from yesterday. I guess I'll just have to be patient until they are completely moved. But I want some Ahlusionness to vape

My order that was "on hold" shipped yesterday (ordered on Sunday). I think that made it so it was on hold for two days. My patience will be rewarded (though to be honest, I was never going to cancel the order).
After all of my other chocolate vape tragedies from other vendors, I've still been keeping them out of my Ahlusion orders but I am starting to waver. Any of you Ahlusion Choco vapers...are their chocolate flavors very dark in color? Normally, I would think that would be an automatic yes but their cafe au lait is the lightest colored coffee I've tried.

If you're not receiving that email, you're missing out double: not only the coupon, but the invitation to tell them what works for you and what doesn't, so that your future juices can be tailored to your specific preferences. Check all your spam filters, and if you don't find them, I'd consider changing the email address you have on your account at Ahlusion.
You know, I think Tez has some Chocolate Cream steeping. He and I have decided to stick the proverbial toe in the chocolate vapes. I asked on my last order, if a sample was available, for Chocolate Cream as well...but if I am reading my order right, I didn't get it this time, but instead got something waaaaaaay better..which means I am going to have to send them a "thank you" email once they get their move calmed down. I am going to be making my next purchase on Friday..Chocolate cream will be on that order along with bigger bottle of Sleighride and a couple of other flavors that have snagged my fancy.
Funny thing, I still haven't gotten around to trying the Melon Berry Frost or the Luna Fortuna. They both smell incredible, but I have my trusty BVC this morning, and will be going back and forth today from Pink Label (who got neglected yesterday...please forgive me, my beloved Pink Label) and this fantastic Sleighride that passed the "long haul/work" test with flying colors.
Speaking of Sleighride...I had a small amount left of a bottle of Peppermint leftover from another vendor that I had ordered from a few months ago. I was bored..so I did a taste test. Let me just say, I thought the other vendor's Peppermint was the be all-end all when it came to mint...I am not ashamed to say that I was wrong. While the other vendor still has a somewhat decent flavor, it is left in the dust compared to Sleighride. Sleighride has this minty creamy complexity going on that really just has me hooked. It's also the first flavor that I have ever had that doesn't dull with time where I am having to do a little switch up to shock the vapebuds. This juice is incredibly fresh each time I vape it.
Don't look at my post like that....my Pink Label is still the absolute best fruit ever...SVC and BVC will always have a permanent place in my cart. Sleighride is a welcome addition to my vaping family though..it's a bouncing baby MINT!!!
