Mr.Mann says, read what D25 wrote. I thought about this question and upon reading D25s answer, I found everything I was going to say.
I was going to say something along the lines of a tart sparkling cider without the cider-ness. In a nutshell, the difference between champagne and sparkling wine is region. Technically speaking, champagne
is a sparkling wine that solely comes from a certain region of France. A champagne that comes from any other region is called sparkling wine.
p.s. I could't do the Eleanor blue quote for the parts of your message that I wanted to reference because I would've had your entire quote in blue.
The stronger champagne option gives you exactly what it says. I don't get much of any fruits added, but I was more interested (this time) in seeing how well Wlad worked with the champagne itself. The champagne is a tad dry, tart and ever so slightly sweet. And yes, there is an effervescence to the
juice. The champagne jumps out of the bottle after a week and a half + beyond -- it won't mellow out, but intensify.
