I think I'm losing my taste bud buds, and this Sleighride is keeping me sane.

Also I didn't want to post until it had some good steep-time, but my "Hey Wlad, could you do a less-spicey no-mint green tea Jade Dew thingie" juice is insane. I knew Wlad worked some magic when I opened my package, because this juice is darker than any juice I have ever seen. Unique, indeed!

For a little perspective, I've never been big on strong tastes (but I might be getting back into the groove after kicking smoking). I drink black coffee, like plain rice cakes, and can eat unseasoned tofu until the un-cows come home. I've always been that way, preferring rather bland things. Not that I'm saying this juice is "bland" per se, but instead it is absolutely authentic to a vape I have been craving...

Now, if you go and brew a pot of green tea, pour a cup, and then inhale the steam through your nose then you will know exactly what this juice is like. It is so calming and serene, and is now my bed-time vape.

Busted open my Blue Grass Burley today. It's very, very impressive -- in my experience, the closest approximation to real tobacco flavor in any e-juice I've tried. The more I've vaped, the more I've been leaning towards fruit flavors because the majority of the tobacco flavors I've tried tasted nothing like tobacco. BGB reminds me of a high-quality cigarette -- something I'd taste at the Nat Sherman store on 5th Avenue.

I'll be posting a video review of this and a few other Ahlusion juices in a few weeks.

I smoked Sherman "Hint of Mint" for YEARS until the state started sending out tax bills for um... out of state purchases. Then I went back to the Kool Milds I grew up with. More than the cost issue, the Shermans on local shelves were ALWAYS stale as hell. I finally have to admit to myself that I DID enjoy smoking the Mints, but Kools I smoked for the nicotine, solely. When I tasted the BGB, I found something in a tobacco flavor I hadn't found in 5 or more years, pleasure. Kinda scares me.

hey guys, don't want to derail this thread, but I am having a HELL of a time with a new phoenix rebuildable atomizer. coils are a pain in the balls to wrap and once i finally do get a semi decent one firing, the taste is definitely off. it's like it has this weird tinge to it. i've tried watching youtube vids and threads on here and not much is changing. if you can assist, please send me a PM. thanks

Okay CM, I drove by a freshly planted strawberry field this afternoon and the plants were crying. The bushes at the blueberry farm across the street were laughing at them. I stopped to ask what was wrong but they were too upset to talk. Now I know.

By the way steeping SVC with extra smells great. Can't wait to try it.

If anyone reads a post about someone being interested in finding a liquid that can replace their once beloved Bounty Hunter or NLV Gold, tell them NOT to try Smooth Criminal. I can be generous and helpful in pointing people in the right direction, but you got to draw the line somewhere.


This juice is the bomb!

New bottle showed up at my house yesterday. Just as I was loading the last 2 mls in a tank. Perfect timing.
Got a breezy Melon-Berry Frost, SVC with extra straw, SC, and a 60 of Sleigh steeping at present.
Also got some Desperado. It is sort of steeping, sort of being sampled.

I am getting what I think is a hint of vanilla in the scent. Taste to me right now is slightly lighter than SC with less pepper/cinnamon and a tad more vanilla but I am guessing. Got feeling I'm going to like this one a lot too. The reorder list keeps growing.

Love to hear from some others that have tried the Desperado. Hope my description is close. I now have the song in my brain. Only the Eagles version is having a fight with the Linda Ronstadt version.

Oh Daniele, welcome to the LIGHT sister. Just wait until you have one of those "no taste buds" days. That one will wake em up, toss the covers, and flip em out of bed. You're going to learn to truly appreciate the uniqueness of that juice.

Wait till you try Orange Nocturne and CPBT. Those are less consistently awesome in the good way to me, but awesome they ALWAYS are. When they're on, they're deadly.

CPBT is definitely one of my favs....I'm all out right now, but my big bottle should get here in a couple of days....and I cannot wait

Just me and you I guess, Daniele. Do you find that CPBT is consistent every day, or do you get different impressions of it? To me, it is very smooth some days, the Black Tea just an interesting note in a larger symphony, and some days it seems like the Black Tea dominates with huge TH and masks the other flavors. But I keep on loading it in my gear!

It's been over a week since I have had it...definitely feeling the withdrawls....but I felt it change up on me quite a bit. And it was a positive thing....it would be rich, and full of the caramel flavor...then Id get more tea with the smooth pear....it really is just an amazing juice. And no matter which flavor decided to come to the forefront, it always worked just perfectly. Absolutely love that one. I was worried the caramel would make it too sweet, but it doesn't, its just perfect

When I thought CPBT was steeped all the way, I found the caramel a little too sickeningly sweet for my taste, but then I just vaped it the other day, and it was perfectly balanced. It tasted like a nice caramelized pear. A little sweet, but not too sweet.

I just went over to the AMESA thread for a second ( ) and someone wanted to know of a vendor that actually had self-imposed standards of "no dyes or food coloring" (though AMESA does not). Of course I had to drop a link for the A-Team! (Or should I write A+Team? The dash looks too much like a minus .) I love to support a business that takes the initiative to cover all the bases without being asked/forced to, or without having to pay dues in an organization for credibility. I don't mean to bring that issue over here, I just want to point out that we are covered!
