I am doing a bit of a journal log tonight. BB is completely up in the air. I feel as if the cognac has tapered off a bit and the creaminess has slightly overwhelmed it. However, I think part of the creaminess is coming from the cognac, so it may be a separate issue. The berries are as good as A+ always does fruit, but I am missing out on the last push of cognac. I am not giving up on this juice just yet, but I can't really say which way it will come out.

RR...Rick's Request? (can't think of any other R's, but there could be a tobacco I don't know about since I don't look at those much)

If yes, on Rick's Request....I think that might be one of the only juices that hasn't appealed to me at some point.

RR is a strange bird.

Don't forget if you have any unloved juice I have tons for trade and take donations that I give to vapers in need. Sent out half my donation bin last week alone. My postman was joking that he is going to start charging me bulk rates soon.

Got'cha!

Mr. Mann, you are in rare form this evening. I feel compelled to ask for translation, or at least a statical analysis. It seems we have deciphered RR, but what, pray tell, is BB? Blue Berry? Berry Blues? Blue grass Burley? Zoid, STAT. I need a probabobability stochastic.

Nebamind. Berry Blues. I didn't even know you HAD these nectars?!

Hahahaha....I had to decode that one too after the RR question...but then I remembered he was recently checking out Berry Blues. And the cognac helped me figure that one out. Too funny. Lol

He definitely does review wines from the top of the spectrum to the bottom. You just have to get used to seeing a wine called an "amazing value" and a "fantastic wine for the price" get scored 88-89 points. Under $40 or so getting in the high 80's is a great score from him.

On a more A+ related note. I don't see Sasparilla discussed much here. You all do know that W&A Sasparilla is the single greatest juice they make hands down right? I am assuming it doesn't get much discussion because you are all constantly reordering 60ml bottles of it like I do!!

(Moueix pulls out BH to WA calculator... Whir... Crunch... Whoop...) WOW!!! That BH 89 is equivalent to a WA 97+. IN. I should subscribe, the Burg racks are lacking attention. On it. Oregon and the RRV provide some interesting Pinots, but there is no real substitute for the hallowed ground of Burgundy. Thanks JP. You've likely cost me some bucks. Any discounts, knowing an importer?

Sasparilla is a cornerstone of Ahlusion, according to their biography. It would seem Wlad and Allison are very proud of that creation, and yet I have not yet seen it mentioned in any notes on this thread. Would you do us the favor of telling us more about that juice? I was curious when I first read it on their site, and now I'm even more so. ANYbody else try this? Tyg? Cho?

I'm very interested in the Sasparilla as well!

This is what happens when I am not engaged in an actual dialogue. Berry Blues is being dripped right now; Rick's Request is out; of course Caramel Pear Black Tea is gone for now but I WILL be ordering more. I wanted to post my thoughts as quickly as they came to me so they would be officially stated -- though, as you know, I can moonwalk with the best back pedalers out there!

I'm intrigued by this journal. I'm hoping for an opportunity to peruse this manifesto of Ejuice. And I have a fairly mean Moonwalk myself, if I may say. We should go in on a pair of white gloves. Have you had an opportunity to try that Sweet Surrender? I'm personally flying through it like grease through a goose. I'm also hoping for a PRIVATE critical analysis of the Strawberry cake and Honeysuckle Pear. But with all honesty and full disclosure, of course.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have gone through almost the full 10mls of Fijian Nights since yesterday....this juice has changed dramatically, and apparently I really love it. :)

Ooh, how long have you had that, Daniele? Mine is 3 weeks, and I have to say, the improvements are notable.

That has to be a chore in its own right. My employees are often indigent, and just keeping track of where to mail their checks is a job unto itself. Call your postman's bluff! It's a more favorable rate.

It's going on about 4 weeks for me now, give or take a day or two....its really smoothed out, not one flavor overpowering another, just a really satisfying vape. Tropical, yet warm & cozy if that makes any sense at all. (I really need somebody that I can just blurt (sp?) out everything I am thinking when I vape some of these juices and then they can translate it into something that makes sense for everyone else) :)

I know about a week or so ago someone mentioned that they realized they love all of the CREAMY juices... I can't recall exactly who it was (hence the bold "creamy", hopefully that grabs their attention), but if you have not tried this one, I strongly suggest giving it a try. If you do...definitely let it steep. It changes dramatically, and for me personally, my first two attempts had me turned off. So you are probably better off just waiting it out so your pereption isn't on the negative side going in. I will say though, it's even more amazing to me because after trying it 2 other times and feeling like it was just a strong pineapple-ish juice, I did not have high hopes when I checked it out again the other day. I even put it in a carto (which I don't use) because I just figured it wasn't going to work out. Well....I was wrong! And the fact that I went in with a slightly negative mindset leads me to believe it's even better than I am letting myself realize! (again, if that makes any sense at all) :)

Mo - my posts probably need far more translation than Mr.Mann's "BB" and "RR"s. LOL

You're doing great Daniele! You're as lucid as Longfellow. What you need is a notebook. I know a lot of wine tasters who just jot down their mental stream when tasting, in long strings of one or two word notes, then compile them later into actual sentences and thoughts. That's just how some brains work, and if you want to keep track of your juices and thoughts, it's a great way to do it.

You may be remembering me saying about their coconut vapes, that what I find compelling about them is their mouth filling creaminess. Definitely an Ahlusion signature to me! Monkey was all worried about her aversion to Coconut, and I was trying to explain to her that it wasn't about the coconut, but instead the CREAMINESS of their coconut, and how well it melded with the other flavors. Think Booze Cruise.

Alright, I'm getting tired of dominating the discourse here, and I have a long road trip tomorrow to pass by NewKids place. G'night Daniele, and fellow Ahlusionists. Ordering starts in a mere 6 hrs 17 minutes. Good luck all!

YES...completely agree on the coconut front...and there is definitely some of that going on in this juice. Smooth & creamy....rreally, really satifying.

I could probabaly take some notes down....it just seems like a lot of the thoughts I have don't make total sense (at least to me when I step back and take a literal look at them). Like the "tropical, but warm & cozy" comment. Tropical to me usually means refreshing, warm weather, fruitiness. In this case, I get the tropical fruits via the pineapple and coconut, but the addition of the cream and spices makes me feel like its more "sitting in front of the fire", cozy type flavor. Not sure where those two ever really come together, but it works in this case. lol

I got myself a Stamps.com account and a scale, I recycle packing like crazy and don't mind the record keeping. I steep all juice before I pass it along to someone in need or even offer it up as trade to help others find the juice they like. I think it is good for the vaping community in general, so I enjoy helping others when and where I can do so.

When I get messages like I did the other day from someone in tears over getting a 'care package' and how it made a very bad day into a great one. Well those just make me want to do it more.

When I have my vaping website established I will be doing a lot more than I am now. I have a lot of ideas that should make it easier for both vendor and vaper to get samples and information on juice and hardware. Think of it as the IMDB of the vaping world.

Mo, SS (Sweet Surrender) is on the menu tomorrow and I will report back to ya'.

So BB is not lacking necessarily in the cognac department, but rather in the berry area. Oddly enough, I am longing for more brightness. The juice starts out with a rising intonation -- a brief zip -- but then the cognac creaminess takes it down rather abruptly without a second lift. Basically I am saying that the juice, as it is, could be a bit more round. Is it tasty? Yes. Will I order it again? Yes, but tweaked or profiled. ;)

p.s. I am missing out on the posts, so I will read what's up and try to be a little more involved tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing great! I am enjoying the night, though I ran out of CPBT a little early.

Making a list, checking it twice. Thrice. More. Cranberries. Maple. Tea! Tea! More tea I think please. And champagne.
Tick tock tick tock.

Sweet Surrender. Yes. About that.

I'm loathe to give any more negative feedback. Because I'm wrong. Every time. I say I don't like it, don't get it, something's not quite right and then I go back and it is. Right. Just as it was. Basically I trust Ahlusion more than my own self at this point. Which is I suppose as it should be. I would certainly never deem it necessary to instruct Thomas Keller in his craft and so goes it with Wlad and crew.
