From your experience do Ahlusion liquids absolutely need to steep? I'm receiving my first order today and I am completely powerless to control my curiosity when it comes to letting my juices steep, unless I have to. The juices I'll be receiving are: Ginger Orange Oolong, John Galt Blend, Caramel Pear Black Tea, Black Peach Tea, and Strawberry Shortcake.

Thanks.

Typically, I leave caps off on 30ml bottles, and cap and nipple off on 10ml bottles for 48 hours. After that, i may sample a tasting to see where its at. The onlyone I have tried on your list is Caramel Pear Black tea. That does need some time to steep. I have sampled my bottle 2-3 times over a 2 week period. Taste is subjective so, you will need do what you like.

One more thing, i always shake the bottles 1-2 times a day as well.

Of course it all depends on the juice and your preferences, but I would say in general, "yes." I've had GOO, CPBT, and BPT both steeped and unsteeped, and they all greatly benefited from a good steep -- especially the Black Peach Tea.

Yeah, I definitely found it most approachable on the lower end of the wattage spectrum. When I upgraded to the twists I ordered several types of delivery systems. The one thing I have yet to use is the Nova Mini. I've been saving it for when I find "my" juice, but maybe I'll give it a go with SC. I've been very eager to try it anyway. I'm assuming you prefer the higher Ω heads? Thanks for the input KrasH!

Nope I prefer the 1.8ohm head for use on the eGo Twist. Anything else with a cleaner/consistent power output I use the 2.4-2.8ohm heads. The Vision ViVi is a great mid voltage range device. I used a 4.0ohm head and higher voltage for a bit and I honestly don't think the Nova performance is as good at the higher end with stock coil and wick.

Higher voltage needs better wicking and a quality coil to perform properly. Then you also need the right juice as well. Just my own theory of course. Honestly you should try a 510 stick battery and a good carto with some Smooth Criminal once and you will see what I mean. You could vape it all day that way and be a very happy camper.

I am using a stallon cartomizer from gotvapes with the Smooth criminal And it is out of this world for me. I really liked HHV tobacco line, it was my favorite until I tried SC. After I let it steep a week I tried it and emptied the 30 mil bottle in a week. I have never done that before with any juice.

Those are the cartos I use, they are perfect for SC.

You could probably give the strawberry shortcake or ginger orange oolong a shot. I would definitely wait a few days on the others.

Forgot to say you are welcome and totally my pleasure.

When I have my website done I will have a chart showing different setups for popular juices giving recommendations for use and voltages that I like best. Then one that will allow people to fill out and give input on what they think as well. Giving you an average of the input.

I think there is an art to vaping, it's a bit more complex than most would think. I am looking at it from a foodie perspective though. You can change so much by varying the way a juice is being turned into vapor.

I have sat and tried a single juice four or five different ways and each method changed the taste, vapor, aroma and every other aspect of the juice. I am still playing around with the methods I am going to use so I am consistent with every juice.

Actually I do :D I also have a habit of getting into every aspect of things I enjoy. Things that have a duality to them suck me in more, like photography. Part of why I became a professional photographer in the first place. The technical and the artistic aspects are the same in vaping.

My approach was opposite yours. If I don't like their coffee/teas/fruits/desserts, there's no point in trying their tobaccos.

Luckily I like EVERYTHING!

I've tried a bunch of coffee/teas/fruits/desserts from a bunch of vendors. I've never re-ordered any of them. *shrug*

Sheesh go away for 4.5 days and I come back and realize that I'll never catch up on this thread so I simply jumped to the end.

I sampled the melonade that was too limey after a 7 day steep and I can tell you that another 5 days made a hugh difference. I liked it so much I filled a Kanger T2 with it.

Now if my raspberry sunset would come around I would be a really happy camper.
