From your experience do Ahlusion liquids absolutely need to steep? I'm receiving my first order today and I am completely powerless to control my curiosity when it comes to letting my juices steep, unless I have to. The juices I'll be receiving are: Ginger Orange Oolong, John Galt Blend, Caramel Pear Black Tea, Black Peach Tea, and Strawberry Shortcake.

A lot of it will come down to personal preference, but i think the majority can say they definitely notice some substantial differences with a lot of these juices after they have had an opportunity to speak. Of the juices you listed, I can only speak to Caramel Pear Black Tea...but I'd say that one definitely needs some time to come together. I do the 48hrs cap off.....shake, shake, shake a couple of times each day...and then I let that one sit for at least a week, ideally closer to 2, before really going for it. Obviously you can check in and taste your juices whenever you wish, but I don't think that one reaches its full potential and intended flavor until about 2 weeks+ after removing the cap.

Shadco - just saw your post on Melonade. That was the IDENTICAL experience I had as well...at first it seemed like a straight lime juice, but once I gave it some time, that amazing sweet honeydew came to the forefront, and its just an AWESOME juice now. Love it!

Even a juice like Sleigh Ride seems to benefit from steeping. When I first tried it after a week of steeping, I thought it was kind of ho-hum and weak for a Minty juice. Today, all of a sudden, it has come to life and is really flavorful I'm definitely a steeping convert now. (My bottle was born on 10/19/12).

I have not met a juice yet that does not change with steeping time. Got a 50ml from another vendor I am hoping gets to a point of being useable right now. Smells like the plastic cap that came with the bottle right now. Had to transfer it to a glass bottle and let it sit with the lid off. Pretty much what I do when I get a new juice, take off lid and let it sit for a few days in my secure cabinet. No chance of spilling, unless we get hit with an earthquake, the dogs cannot find it either. After at least three days I recap the bottle and test a couple drops every so often till I get that 'damn that is good' moment and then vape the dickens out of it. Like I am my SC right now, in fact it's time to refill my Kanger 510 tank again

If you are ever wanting to find out how a juice will change with both time and some air. Just buy two bottles of the same juice and let one bottle sit in a safe place open and use the other bottle till it is almost gone. Then sit and do a side by side comparison when the first bottle is almost gone and you will almost always taste a difference. The open bottle is less important with certain juices, it really depends on the flavoring agent used, I have found at least. Again this is also dependent on personal taste as well.

I went through that entire bottle of Fijian Nights, which was not one I was expecting to vape that consistently like that. I'm really taken by surprise with that one...did not expect to love it like that

I vaped the first bottle on arrival. It tasted like peppermint schnapps. A two weeks later, pure fresh candy store candy cane.
Ahlusions juices are made to order and are literally days old when we get them. Some can be vaped young but most change dramatically after steeping. I didn't know what that was until Ms. EleanorR (the steepstress) and others educated me.
Now I just reorder a little sooner.

Edit- KrasH- T4 really? I am still on the T2. Had good luck with Kanger gear. How does it vape?

Took about half a ml to get the tank tasting good, but it has done nothing but improve and right now it is hitting perfectly. The SC tastes just like it does in my ViVi 2.4ohm at 4.2volts and I am using a standard 510 stick 180mah battery with it. It's a nice size, you can even hold it in your mouth and let it dangle like an analog since it is has no weight to it. I will be doing a full review for posting on ECF and the GV website probably around Monday. I want to give it a few days use to make sure it does not pop up with any problems.

Just make sure you clean it well when you first get it, came with a bit of a plastic smell to it, nothing like the Nano's did when I got them. I am still leery about using them at all.

it then got really quiet, as I think he thought I meant I was saying it was for my wife's uh, "personal massager"
