Hi Ahlusion friends....Update on my feelings of my first Ahlusion order. Loved the tobaccos...Smooth Criminal, and especially the Desperado, which I believe has some chocolate in it. In fact, I just tried to squeeze out a couple more drops of Desperado from an empty bottle. Nope....not happening.
Did not love Peach River or Apple River Blends.....underlying weird chemical taste to me. The JG blend is pretty good too. I have not tried the lemon lime yet. Definitely will have a few of these to give away...and will reorder the Desperado. And will order some other untried ones based on my reading of other's opinions on this thread.

This is what vaping is all about.....exploring all the options. And believe me.....my two shoe boxes full of juice make me the Louis and Clark of vaping.

Wlad will actually recommend the other tobaccos over the "...River Tree Blends." Although I haven't tried them yet (but they're en route), you might want to try Apple House and Peach House (or Peachy Criminal) before giving up on the concept altogether.

Couple questions! Mr. Mann I'm sure you can help as well versed in navigating Ahlusions as you are.


1. When I got my conformation e-mail I Saw there was an option for sweetener with Jade Dew that I didn't see while ordering. Does anyone recommend sweetened over not? In their notes they recommend trying juices with that option unsweetened first. So I'm not too worried about just wanted to hear thoughts.

2. It seems the only option for BGB was 50/50. That is a little high in PG for my tastes. Has anyone ordered it with more VG? Can you? Any thoughts?

3. After reading it seems they are out of Sasparilla which was my sample request. I'm hesitant to email them due to how overloaded they have been. Plus I ordered everything I wanted so I thought maybe ill just get a surprise from them, I don't know what else to sample, maybe sleigh ride? Thoughts?

I dumped some Arctic Wolf in my cartos to kill the flavor...Arctic Wolf will kill any underlying bad taste. It is like sucking on an ice cube. I keep it around just for that purpose.

On the "code" subject....I was looking for a "code" on my bottle of Fijian Nights...since they customized that one for me (without me even asking either...just based on what I have told them about my likes/dislikes....and it was perfect btw), so I curious about the code so I could be sure to order it that way again....but then I realized it was probably the order number. But I am with Mr.Mann...."codes" sounds more hi-tech. LOL! Unfortunately I couldn't order more Fijian Nights today though

Well, as my experience with all of those juices is limited, I'd email Wlad to give him your feedback on them, if you haven't already. He'll be able to let you know if all of the peach and apple tobaccos have those elements that you don't like, or just those two. I'm pretty sure they have at least two different apple flavorings that they use, maybe more. Wouldn't be surprised if they had multiple peaches too. But of course if you aren't tasting the fruit and are only tasting an "off taste," that suggests to me that it's the tobacco base that you don't like. I'm fairly certain the House Blend variants use a different base than the River Tree Blends, and Wlad could probably recommend something for you that you would like more.

Well, a co-worker and I both got on a fruit menthol kick lately. I love the organic fruit flavorings but I like my liquids heavily mentholated.

As far as savory flavors that don't need any steeping, if you haven't tried Ricks Request, you should. It's very unique as I don't think I've ever had an eliquid that has had a raisin flavor, and Ricks Request has a creamy, rich, and sweet flavor with undertones of raisin and is quite lovely.

Apple is a rough one for me to like as well. I have only found two I like so far and I really like apple and tobacco mixed. Seriously give it a very long top off steeping time.

Just got my first order from Ahlusion. WOW good stuff here. I debated on letting it steep, but I couldn't I was to excited. Sooth Criminal is awesome and it seems like it will go great with my coffee. I haven't decided if I like the Cherry Tobacco House Blend better. Win Win situation. I can see why these guys are overloaded with orders and I think I will be contributing to that overload.

NICE order Newbie. That's a heck of a name for someone who has been around here for almost TWO YEARS!! Glad you made the cut on the Sasparilla, they're out now. I think it's hilarious that everyone is ordering the Canyon Sun Ala Cinnamonkey. Does anybody know what it tastes like WITHOUT the extra cranberries?! I'm going to have to try it that way some day, but for now, I'm LOVING it with the extra cranberries. Haven't tried the Criminal yet, I'm waiting for my Black Friday Peachy Criminal, with a lot of anticipation! Grape Vine is another major league favorite. It's so genuine, and the level of sweetness in it couldn't be more perfect. Yummmmm...

IMHO, Grape Vine needs no steeping. It is just a tiny bit more tart out of the gate, but very, very enjoyable. Some vapes, I like as much, maybe even better, BEFORE the steeping. Until Eleanor gets back on her feet, I'm going to vape at least a ML of each just to give me some reference, and improve my feedback. If I prefer the taste of the unsteeped over the steeped, Wlad can likely adjust the mix to give me the unsteeped flavor AFTER the steep. It's all about getting those crosshairs sighted in perfectly.

Totally with you. Between the quality of the juice, the amazing customer service, and the massive breadth of the menu, I've found my home and there is no turning back. I've even got a ton of DIY stuff gathering dust, because it is NOT the same. It was fun until I found Ahlusion, but there is no point when I can get just THAT fabulous. Ah well, you live and learn. My son is crossing over to vaping, and I'll give him all those flavors and bases, and let him have some fun for awhile and come to his own conclusion about DIY. He's getting Ahlusion for Christmas, so it won't take long.

Yes- I honestly didnt give consideration to my name when I joined this forum - as I disnt figure I would participate much... I initially joined to read and learn.... little did I know I would check here daily to see how my A+ friends were doing!

Haha, I have tried grape vine and it is very good, its just habit at this point. I order and let is steep 1-2 weeks before diving in. Now Jungle juice was different, I only had the 10ml of it and had to force myself to put it away. It only lasted a week but it did change for the better. If it was available it would have been a 60ml bottle order.

I've still got quite a bit left out of a 30 ml bottle. I only do savory flavors once in a great while. I quite liked it though. Are we allowed to offer Ahlusion liquids to sale or trade on this thread? I wasn't sure, but I've got a 30 ml bottle of Spiced Pumpkin Latte that's probably 80% full if anyone's interested. If I've breached any rules here, please PM me and let me know .

Yeah...that is my assumption as well. I was more just curious to see if there was a code on the bottle that was customized versus those that were not..which is when I realized it must be associated with the order number

I asked for a sampe of Grape Vine in my order as well...really anxious about that one. A few of the others I planned to get weren't available, (like Fijian NIghts & Sasparilla) but I'm sure I'll be more than happy with the ones I was able to get. I decided to give Peppermint Mocha a try....which is one I have been eyeing, but it was a little further down the list. Since some of the others were unavailable, I figured why not.

Anyone have any experience with Peppermint Mocha?
