Yeah, I'm starting to think that it's kismet that a handful of us ended up here who are really capable of understanding how special this product and the people who sell it are. Going out and trying to convince people why they should be impressed is probably a waste of time. If you have to convince them, they won't understand the difference anyway. Those of us who appreciate such things will be naturally drawn to it regardless, and will find each other.

Good post. It's a conclusion I've been coming around to myself as of late.

Hey, we should arrange a backup forum or whatever, in case ecf goes down for an extended period of time.

Biz, have any of you heard of IVC...International Vapors Club? It's a nice forum & they have a section called the Water Cooler, where you guys could start a thread for everyone here. Iowa & I hang in a thread I started over there...it's a quiet, nice forum. Just a thought for you. :)

Thanks Biz! I always value the pithiness of your posts, so I take that as a big compliment.

I'd love it if there were a forum attached to the Ahlusion site like some vendors have (such as Volcano E-Cigs, for example) where you could log in as a customer and post. It would probably have infrastructure issues of its own that would come up, but it might also save Wlad, Alley, & co. some time answering emails. Plus, it would probably keep me from spending so much of my money on the ECF classifieds!

Without feeling too superior (I've been vaping just over a month after all), I see what you mean about how special Ahlusion is. Just based on testing my new juices by dripping, I can tell how delicate, balanced and true these tastes are, compared to run-of-the-mill juice. These are just getting started, based on this forum's steeping suggestions, but I can already tell you that they don't have the chemical and saccharine tastes that many juices do, and the flavors are subtle and complex.

The grape skin is apparent in Grape Vine -- not just as flavor, but mouthfeel; there's a nice peppery astringent spray on the throat -- although I'm counting on it losing much of the candy taste it has now. Smooth Criminal is dandy as is; I'll try my best to keep some for a month to note its progress. I don't think there's any chance Cafe au Lait will make it for a month.

Anyway, my point is that these are superior juices with a far more complex palate of tastes than the others I've tried -- even the ones I like. If you consider beers as a comparison, most juices are destined to play the game of what malt fans call lawnmower beers (typical light American lagers like Bud and Miller), palatable only to those who don't know better or care to know better. Ahlusion is like a small-batch craft brewery. You'll never see a TV commercial for Bell's Expedition Stout, but those in the know can talk about it all night without getting bored or repeating themselves. I see the same dedication here -- by Ahlusion to their craft, and by you guys to the appreciation of the product.

Cheers to all of you, and to Ahlusion.

I actually sipped on a bottle of Expedition Stout this afternoon and puffed on some Devil Dog with it, haha. If you like that stuff, try on some Founder's Breakfast Stout... Good stuff.

And this is the type of person that is perfect for Ahlusion! How is it possible that one vendor manages to attract such quality people? Gone are the days where the first thing one talks about in their review is throat hit and vapor -- it's just deeper than that!

y cherry y, isn't it such a source of pride that this amazing vendor is stationed here in Michigan? Have you been to the cafe yet?

p.s. Smooth Criminal will definitely get much better after a few weeks.

Michigan may claim the best ejuice vendor... But Tez is in the land of the best beer, IMHO, even though he is a little south of the jackpot. Tez... If you can get stuff from Russian River Brewery, I would pay you to ship it out to me... And I am not talking the normal stuff they put out... I want me some Supplication and Pliny the Elder, hehe.

I'm blushing here. Yes, I love that it's in my hometown especially. Is the cafe open? Their website doesn't seem to indicate that it is. If so, I'm getting up there right quick! I haven't had Devil Dog yet, but descriptions make it sound like the juice equivalent of Ex Stout, described once as tasting like braised beef but with less carbonation.
